Where are those Professors that Federal government-sponsored for research abroad? They must refund all the expenses incurred ($) back to the Federal government and tender unreserved apology to the Federal Government and Nigerians. VC's must refund all the grants/donations given to them for scientific research. They have disappointed our dear country. Senegal the shining light continues to shame them.

Atiku’s PDP Lagos Rally; the Final Blow to Dictatorship

Despite being a workday, the PDP had their presidential rally at the Tafawa Balewa Square, a venue twice bigger than the Venue on which the APC held their presidential campaign rally in Lagos. The rally which was anchored on the joblessness and insecurity which the Buhari-led administration has brought upon Nigeria, enjoyed massive cheers from the attendees.

In the entourage was the PDP presidential candidate; Atiku Abubakar, his running mate, Mr. Peter Obi, the Director General of the PDP presidential campaign; Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, the National Chairman of the PDP; Prince Uche Secondus, the Governorship candidate of the PDP in Lagos; Mr. Jimi Agbaje and a lot of other dignitaries.

The various speakers hinted on the challenges the country has been facing under the Buhari administration, including insecurity, bad economy and job losses. The National Chairman of the PDP stated clearly that the PDP has uncovered plans by the APC to rig the election. He went on to state that the PDP will not allow that happen. He also further tasked the attendees to vote PDP and defend their votes.

The VP candidate of the PDP, Peter Obi solicited votes based on the pro-business manifesto of the Atiku candidacy. When Atiku Abubakar spoke, he reminded the people of his resolve to create jobs. He admonished the people of Lagos to vote him for the jobs and wealth he intends to create for the business hub of the nation. The crowd joyously dispersed after the national anthem. Attendees state that the traffic due to the campaign has led to a gridlock from Awolowo road up to Tafawa Balewa Square.

Fellow Nairaland, this my bitter experience with ABC Transport company of Nigeria , I paid N150,000.00 in this hard time to moved my properties from Port Harcourt to Lagos and to delivered on 30 September 2018, I gave them my contact details, the properties was first moved to their office at Fadeyi and later to Ajah on 1st October 2018, on Wednesday 3rd October 2018, I received a call from one of their customer representative that I should bring another truck to pick my properties that their driver complained about bad road and as such I have to pick up my properties myself. As at typing this text my house properties are left in the rain outside their office undelivered. My family are seriously suffering now because they only left PH with just hand bags on Sunday 30 September 2018 same day the truck left PH to Lagos hoping our house properties will be delivered as agreed by ABC Transport. The choice of ABC Transport was made believing as a company listed on the stock exchange , I was expecting them to delivered good customer services but sadly as am typing this text this morning 5 October 2018 my family is strangled without our house properties and the perishables gone.

Gospel artiste, Yinka Ayefele, has said that he obtained the necessary documents and due approvals before he constructed his multi-million naira structure that was razed by the Oyo State Government around 4.30 on Sunday morning.

In a statement made by Ayefele and obtained by our correspondent, the musician stated that necessary building permits were obtained from government for the construction of the building.

He also called on the state Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Toye Arulogun, to “refrain from misleading the public” concerning the reasons for the demolition.

Ayefele reiterated that necessary documents were obtained on the building and that a discussion relating to the establishment of a central abattoir by the state government could be behind the demolition.

He added that the FM station belonged to the people and that he had left everything to God.

In an announcement aired on the radio station during its global update, the management of the radio station called for calm after the demolition.
