@ constantin, abeg let us hear word. who will see beta food and opt for mcdonald's. you could as well be canvassing for Nigerians to allow for dumping of toxic waste on them. who needs mcdonalds when there is a variety of fresh 'organic' food around. God i cant wait to descend on amala and smoked fish at Broad street.
Family / Re: I Can't Get On Well With My Mother by nucca(f): 6:36pm On Nov 12, 2005

Family / Re: Wife Beatings in Africa by nucca(f): 2:42pm On Nov 12, 2005
'wife beating' is prevailent world wide
if a man beats another man, u wouldnt expect either of them to run around for help or support.
u'd expect him to fight back.
a woman is equal to a man, so what i expect is that she fights back.
i know she may be physically weaker but men have a weak spot below the belt.
i've used it several times and it has helped to get me out of dire situations including intended rape by a stranger.
dont see urselves as the weaker and expect support from no one because like it or not, its a mans world.

Dating And Meet-up Zone / Re: Is This Guy Cute? by nucca(f): 6:52pm On Nov 03, 2005
he is fearfully and wonderfully made. he is unique, there is no copy of him any where.
when he meets the bone of his bones, he will know.
for now i think he should concentrate on improving his personality and empowering himself.
he looks awfully young to be so preoccupied with getting a woman.

Culture / Re: Female Circumcision: what's wrong with it? by nucca(f): 6:11pm On Nov 03, 2005
complications of Female circumcision that i have seen
1] excessive bleeding leading to death
2] infection of the wound leading to sepsis leading to neonatal jaundice [it was a baby] leading to permanent brain damage
3a] obstruction of labour; this lady was given a generous cut below and she delivered the baby
3b] obstruction of labour;[ this lady wasnt in hospital] she was forced to keep pushing against resistance. the baby died, she was then taken to hospital where the baby had to be removed in pieces. she later developed vesicovaginal fistula.
this is all i can remember for now, for each of these complications i saw quite a number.

Family / Re: Enlighten Me With Your Opinion About My Marriage by nucca(f): 2:01pm On Sep 30, 2005
most men dont know the diff. bw necessity and luxury, if you take care of the neccesary he'll afford himself [and probably another woman] some luxury.
if you let him, he'll take you for a ride.
Family / Re: New Wife, No Womb by nucca(f): 1:52pm On Sep 30, 2005
if she still has her ovaries and can get a sorrogate mum [perhaps a sister or trustworthy friend] her eggs and husbands sperms can be harvested, invitrofertilised and implanted into the sorrogates womb. if they want more than one child, they can request implantation of multiple [fertilised] eggs so they dont go through the process [expensive] again after some years.
