Anthonyo15: Stamping of exam slips starts on monday 22nd may 2017. All students are required to upload their picture on the portal Alternatively, if the picture is not showing on the exam slips or is too small then the home page where the picture is showing should be printed out. 2. A valid national id card I.e international passport, voters card, drivers license. Note: all students should come along with the original of these id card and a photocopy of the data page should be attached at the back of their exam slip along side the agreement form. Copied Thanks a lot, Anthonio15! I truly appreciate you for all the information you endeavor to give on this platform. About the above subject, please what is the agreement form all about? How does one go about getting it? Thanks for your usual well-researched answer! |

For those who can't find their results any longer on the portal, please note that NOUN has withdrawn them. It's believed they are working on the results.
So, be optimistic. Thanks, Anthonyo15! I hope that they particularly work on the 0 credit thing. I mean, how can a core course have 0 credit? And then, not just one course? |

Tma questions are not the same thing, it's done exactly the way exam is being set, where Mr tunde question 1 is Mrs Lawal question 20. Even if you login now and relogin back the question 1 u see before will now be in question 5 or 6.
Kindly note when you answer input the question. Thanks Thanks Anthonyo15. Please can one print the TMA to answer offline and login again to submit, as it was before? Or is it a once-and-for-all login, answer and submit? |

I wrote on this forum sometime ago about how I paid N20,000. with an RRR number I generated from my portal and it was not reflecting in my e-wallet. Well, I am glad to announce that it has finally reflected. I saw a new information on the new website (nouonline.com) that students should first check RRR on the homepage before checking their e-wallet status. That's what I did, and my transaction was successful! If you are in the situation I was in, I would like to encourage you to try this method. I think it will work for you too. And if you still have issues, please don't hesitate to go to your Study Center and see the Director. Best of luck! |

Anthonyo15: THE INTERVIEW WITH NOUN VC ON NOUNFM TODAY
Wow…. what a relief!!! It was really good listening to the Vice Chancellor of our dear University (NOUN)…. Some pertinent issues addressed, which are ranging from Challenges with the new portal, tma and result and harassment from supervisor. Let’s get the fact straight…
The new portal www.nouonline.com is in its transition stage, Students who are unable to access their portal should visit their various study centres for manual registration. However, the fright we are having pertaining to our results not being seen and our Tmas likely to be scrapped have been clarified by the VC…
The data of all students of the University is safe and it would take a gradual process for them to transition fully to the new website, it took 3yrs for nou.edu.ng to be fully operational. Therefore a little patience is required as all things would be put to place.
Meanwhile, if for any reason whatsoever u experience any form of harassment from your project supervisors the right person to contact should be the Vice Chancellor as he gave out his personal email which is :auadamu@nou.edu.ng with these, u can comfortably voice your disposition and be rest assured that action would be taken to address all issues.
The portal is working and most students have been able to access it. 17, 000 students were able to register on the new website yesterday, those who are unable should visit the study centres and meet the directors there to resolve it…
He said, the inability for some students to access the portal could be due to network issues, no data or probably they are trying to log in with their phones or the site is busy… affected students should go to their centres with proper documents.
In his last words, he encouraged people from far & near to come and study in NOUN as it is the only school in the whole of West Africa that is capable of Giving individuals the chance to work and learn… They could be keke rider’s, tailors, bread seller’s, restaurant workers et al, the only school capable of convocating over 12,000 students…. Study in NOUN and get the degree that stands the same ground with all other universities.
The above are major points in the interview with NOUN VC held today (2/10/2017) on NOUNFM summarized by ELOBI AMARACHUKWU JANEL Thanks so much Anthonyo15 for all the efforts you continually make to bring latest information to us. If I got you correctly, does it mean that the TMA will NOT be scrapped or restructured as was being speculated? |

Whose fault is it? NOUN or Cyberspace. Can't the government interfere and reconcile the said agreement?
The feeling is like that of prolonged strike in conventional universities...very disturbing. you've just spoken my mind! For goodness sake, a third party should get involved and help resolve the problem! Things are getting out of hand. God forbid, but what if something happens to the school data? That's why the situation must be brought under control NOW. A stitch in time saves nine!!! |

Anthonyo15: Prof. SAM. Admin, Great NOUN students forum Good morning everyone, after a brief meeting with model study centre director and Vice Counsellor, today I came to realise that the school is working really hard for our favour, the school has also promised to add marks to our previous exams, he also warned against students making payments through the new portal and made it clear that there won't b any refunds if any issues comes up after payments he stressed that we should remain calm as things gradually gets back on track...Pls note that the new portal will officially commence 2week of February, for the main time let's relax and watch... Thanks for this information. it's quite encouraging! I only wish the university management could put this kind of information on the official announcement page so more students may become aware of what is going on. |
Education › Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Nuheights(m): 4:06am On Jan 31, 2017 |
buddyosan: The social media is awash with information that people should exercise patience before paying, but you still went ahead to pay... I think the university should take down the announcement that students can now make payments. Personally I paid N20,000 with an RRR pin I generated from my portal and up till the time of this writing(one week now), it still hasn't reflected in my portal. The university management owe the students some explanation or take the announcement down. That is the proper thing to do. |
