With the rate EFCC arrests and parade these internet fraudsters yet these guys don't want to stop doing this crime and build their wealth legitimately, I expect EFCC to have graduated to arresting their parents and sealing or demolishing their family compounds like HE Peter Obi did with kidnappers then in Anambra state.
These are smart able bodied young men wasting their time on laziness and greed in their prime by doing crime and there's supposed to be strong deterrent to stop them and others from joining the list of criminal convicts damaged for life .

You can't say it any better. I described one of the thiefs who once attempted to rob late MKO Abiola here on NL, choosing my words carefully a few months ago. MKO was on his way to see Olubadan with some of his American partners and his wife who confirmed the incident but kept the names of those armed robbers secret. One of them was a 2-time governor and now a serving minister. On sighing MkO in his vechle after they've succeeded in robbing other victims, they screwed his name and MKO stepped out of the vehicle, discouraged them from engaging in the act and asked them go back to school, that he would sponsor their education and they were free to see him for any help anytime. All those we have as leaders today are thieves, killers, ritualists, cultists, human flesh eaters and fraudsters. 2 of our law makers can't enter USA today without being arrested and both of them hold key positions in the national assembly. How do you expect any change to happen? If i had my way, I'd lead a squad team to them...which is now a reigning means of eliminating key people globally and remove them all. Only then would we have a sane and progressive country. The spirit of endsars suggests to me that it's possible and one day, it will happen because you never can tell how many people are thinking this way, presently. See the PA to Gov Abiodun who's now eating beans in the USA. I learnt he was even presented to Gov Abiodun by Tinubu. The governor didn't know him. He had been pegged down as federal law maker ahead of 2023 election before his bubble got busted. These are the people destroying Nigeria and some myopic youths would be attacking anyone who doesn't like their styles of leadership.

When I read online that the federal government banned the teaching of History in schools because it didn't want Igbos to read about the Nigerian Civil War, I believed it hook, line and sinker, even though I am a northerner.

I little bit of research would have made me realized the truth, but I was ignorant. I believed what other people said without finding out if they were right or wrong.

A school I was recently employed to teach Computer Studies wrote NECO exam, and the subject was History. I felt so stupid when I saw the question paper. If the government banned history, why is NECO, a government examination body allowing people to write History?

What I noticed over the years is that students don't like history because the subject is bulky. There are lots of dates and events to cram in history, and most students don't want to stress their brains.

I asked around today, and I realized that even though my school doesn't offer History as a subject, other schools do. Students from other schools that didn't have a NECO center, registered to write the exam in mine.

From the look of things, it is up to schools to decide if they want to offer history as a subject or not. This has got me thinking. What other lies have I been believing?
