Buhari is not a leader and has never been. All the seemingly good policies brought into play in the 80's were done by Major general Tunde Idiagbon who unfortunately is late now. And that's why, while Buhari was wide awake, and Idiagbon travelled, fellow soldiers like him (IBB) could plot a coup and chase him out like the weakling that he is. Probably if History was taught in our secondary schools, Younger Nigerians who squandered their support for PMB would have known, that the best role for him is to be a soldier with weapons and nothing more.

If after going through those challenges of victimisation, u still come out with first class, then u must have been properly groomed to face other challenges. That is what a graduate is. Create level playing grounds for graduates of both types in jobhunting and see if those ajebos will ever secure good jobs in this country. We know how they get job placements. So forget it.

I don't attend private institutions even during my primary school , but you need to visit these private universities and compare the learning environments, libraries and other facilities with public ones to see the comparative advantage.

U must be very generous to even equate them to 2:2. Out of every 5 first class graduates of public universities, at least 4 are actually worth the awards. But it is much easier for a camel to pass through the of a needle than to find a first class graduate of a private university who deserves the certificate is holding.

Where do u think private universities source their lecturers from? Most of these graduates of private universities were withdrawn from public universities due to poor academic performances. They simply could not cope with the academic demands of public schools. A true first class graduate is one who was able to pass through all challenges in a public university and still emerge with that grade. Remember, degree is awarded both in character and learning. As such you must be able face all challenges, including the unruly behaviours of your lecturers.

amongs all scandals,I can confidently say this anywhere that any 1st class or degree holder From madonna University worked hard and earned that degree,not by cutting corners.
even if some private university don't follow the strict education benchmark that doesn't mean that all private university are the same.
Any Graduate of Madonna University is as good as a graduate from any tertiary institution in nigeria.
I am making mention of Madonna University cos am a graduate from this institution,I can't defend any other private institution cos I havent studied there

Then Madonna University may be good in all courses but English.

If that is the case, then why is it that most of these first class products of private universities can't stand their 2:1 counterparts from public universities both academically and intellectually ? Examples abound. U may take a walk to the nearest NYSC orientation camp and carry out some research. I graduated with 2:2 in Elect/Elect and I work in the same organisation with a graduate of private university with a cgpa of 4.42 in the same E/E who couldn't differenciate btw the electrical symbol of an inductor and that of a resistor. This same guy could not differenciate btw Kwatt and KVA.

I think what happened was that there was fear among the marketers that money owed by the government won't be paid by the incoming administration. This made them hoard the fuel as they needed to secure their own future going forward post-Jonathan.
