I was tired of being pregnant so on the 23rd of December, I intensified my pineapple eating, nipple stimulation, date eating as well as aggressive walks. At 2am, some painful contractions woke me up and I started having loose stools. 24th December was my antenatal but I was so sure I was not going back home that day so I put my bag in the car and we left for the hospital at 5am- the normal time I leave for the clinic. I endured the contractions till around 11am when I saw the doctor and I told him straight that I was in Labour. He examined me and I was 4cm dilated. I was admitted. An hour later, another doctor came to check me and broke my water. I was already 8cm dilated. In another 5minutes, the midwife came to check me and I was fully dilated. I kept on closing my legs (devil is a liar). It was so painful. They discovered that the cord was around baby's neck and took some time to remove it. Baby was brought out but she did not cry. The placenta was proving stubborn but God proved himself. The midwife kept sticking her hand in to ensure there were no remnants. So painful. The midwives started running round to resuscitate the baby as she had taken in a lot of dirt at the point of delivery. All thanks to God, I heard her cry. The suturing was another pain entirely as I had a tear but I endured it all. It ended in praise.

After a fierce Battle Jehovah made a way for us. AdorablePrincess is here. She made her grand entrance yesterday 15 Dec at about 5:45pm. Mother and child are doing okay with Daddy overjoyed.

Praise God. May she be all you wished for and more. Congratulations. People shall also rejoice with the remaining preggy mommas. Amen

I want to rant o... mothers, do you experience this also? in the next few days I'll be 28weeks in my third trimester I've been having this fear of child birth within me. It's difficult for me to forget about my first experience almost 4years now. actually, my first boy's labour was almost 19hours with a cut. As I'm moving closer and closer hmm... I'm scared of labour pains and especially when the baby's head is coming out of the vagina awww...

Sister, you are not the only one o. I am even team December. The fear dey disturb me but God is on the throne. Just keep on praying. It will surely end in praise. Amen

Good afternoon mamas. Hope we are doing fine. My Dr was suggesting cs to me because of hemorrhoids. I have a painful one now hanging outside my bum bum. I have tried pushing it in but it still comes out and I was given anusol. My Dr said cs to prevent other hemorrhoids from coming out during delivery. Please mothers what do you think because I have been a hemorrhoids sufferer for years now and I am in so much pain.

Hurray!!! We started from the bottom now we are here .
Yes, we saw 1st trimester and ms dealt with us like it wasn't going to pass.
Some of us had to swallow chilled Eba, had special bowl for spitting, brushing our teeth was a vomiting session but look at us now , we've been there and done them all. Great is our God.

Congratulations on coming this far teamies, it hasn't been easy but definitely worth it.

We all are now safely in the 2nd trimester, may the rest of the journey be easy for us all. Amen
Our routine drugs are a vital part of this journey, please let's not forget that.
Stay faithful to it, its actually our partner on this journey.
I guess some of us must have had our 1st TT shot. For the rest of us who hasn't, our hospitals will let is know when It's time i guess.

Our princess arrived today, July 4th (39W+5 ) at 5:38 pm weighing 3.27kg after Dr mistakenly broke my water earlier today. BS will come later.

I strived but submit to God's will, for He knows all. When it was just few weeks left to August 25th. I fell to labour and before I could say Jack, the water gushed out on first Sunday. I was rushed to nearby hospital where I gave birth to my Angel but she only survived few minutes. Everything happened suddenly but thank God I'm alive because the delivery was serious as the baby was brought buttocks first. I lost lot of blood but I survived it all though my baby girl is no more.

I don't know how to handle the loss especially when my b..bs full and no baby to feed. Pray for me pls

Team July, hope you're all ready? Tomorrow is July 1st, Waow!! Just like yesterday that we announced our bfp, was even counting months to go. Na for belly pikin dy tey oooo. Some of us have already given birth, some are eating pineapple and using kpekus to kill their spouse, some are exercising.
We're forever grateful to God for His mercy and compassion, He have been so good to us. August mamas that will port to July, you're wonderfully welcomed.

As i dey so, I'm scared of pain o. Please don't jump and pass. Just abeg advise me on what to expect and how to make it less painful.

mine was painful o but If you can't bear it, tell him to stop. Tell hubby to take it easy and slow and get lots of lube. It will get better with time.
