I will try as much as possible to be more frequent, sir. The major challenge is time. I work best under solitude and absolute silence, but my kind of job makes that near impossible. This is the first time I am attempting something of this nature and I want to write literature (hope I got that write), not just entertainment. It will cost me nothing to tap out a few paragraphs on the go, but that will be forcing creativity and the end product will be wishy-washy. Please bear with me.

A new update will be ready by tomorrow latest.

No problem. We are following steadfastly.

Ishi, this is a captivating tale. You do have a flair for storytelling.Keep up the good work. However, could you shorten the intervals between updates? It's a bit disconcerting. For instance, I had to re-read the last post before today's so I could reconnect with the storyline again.

kokomuolo: How sad that initial brilliant and well-intentioned projects just kiss the dust in no time. Yet when private individuals/companies decide to run the marathon the government cannot run, they kill them with unreasonable taxes. Man has really ruled man to his injury!

Indeed. I remain optimistic but it is harder when you consider that there have been good initiatives in the times past that where not sustained. What future is there for the present initiatives as well? God help us

Nairaland / General / Re: Share Your Most Embarassing Moments by nuwell(m): 7:47am On Mar 08, 2013
Wow! I couldn't snigger too much about everyone else's embarrassing moments without sharing mine. So here goes:
In my first year in the university, three ladies came to visit one of my 'lodge-mates' and he decided to introduce them to me.So we all got acquainted. At a point that day, the issue of food came up and I jovially volunteered to entertain 'our' guests with my newly prepared pot of concoted jellof rice, of which I was very proud especially as it would serve to bias an argument we'd been having earlier about guys being unable to cook for themselves. I was also hoping to impress one of them
So saying, I served the ladies, eager to make an impression with a meal I hadn't even tasted myself, and just hung around to watch them enjoy the meal. it wasn't long before I observed that they were not really enjoying the meal. As a matter of fact, very shortly they excused themselves very politely, thanked me and left leaving behind most of the heaped food I had served (I even served them quantities I would usually eat). I wondered if I had overestimated their capacities but anyway just wrote it off as one of those 'girl' things.
Soon after I decided to settle down and enjoy my rice. I put the first spoon in my mouth.... and reality dawned on me...
...
...
The food was over-SALTED terribly. That was the last time they visited me. Our new friendship never got off.Lol
Till today I still feel like kicking myself for not tasting it first.

And dis is supposed to be 'sexy'?
First we hv worn animal prints. As if dat was not scandalous enough, animal footwear is now available to compliment it.
The end of d world is indeed near.So animalistic tendencies are no longer constrained to d secrecy of d heart bt are now publicly fashionable.
Lord have mercy!
