Au79: this news really saddens my heart...7years plus in the university all beacause of one form of strike or the other.. using one tool to fight the government over and over again yet no tangible lasting solution. wont you change tactics..i mean its only a fool who does something in a particular way and manner over again and expects a different result..haba.. wherever you read or hear the name ASUU there will surely be the word "strike" in that same sentence or coversation...very annoying lots..i u hardly see foreign students in nigeria universities these days cos of thi incessant disruption of academic calenders...the government is iirseponsibe..yes we know! but must you further contribute to the decay of our tertiary institutions..u say if not fot ASUU struggle, nigeria federal universities would av been on shambles or the school fees would have been exhorbitantly high. bla bla bla....now i ask u ASUU, are schools like uniilorin, lasu and other states universities not doing well too? are the school fees of these institution very high? looking forward to seeing that day when i will read news like " ASUU urges the federal government to heed to its demands or else they would temporarily call of its members to discontinue the research of a vaccine for endemic illness like say malaria, or drugs or economics , agricultural, minning , conflict resolutional strategies..."..never!!! all you hear is ASUU threatens strike, strike and strike cos of cos thats the only bargainin power they have.....mtchheeww and for those of you praying for school to resume next year, well i believe you guys are still kids in probably your first or second year( no insult intended) my prayer for u is that may ASUU strike and other strikes that may continue to happen in future not put u in a position that jobs would reject you not cos u didnt do excellently well in job intervies but simply because you have exceeded the age limit needed for employment #EndAsuuSrike Quite true! I have hardly seen ASUU threaten the Government with much better tactics. |

doubitoo19: Hello guys, I need help ooo. There is this girl I really loved even till now. The problem is that when I opened up to her, she was giving me attitude, even to pick my calls or reply my messages was a problem. Although I truly loved her, I just had to let her go. I even deleted her number and treated her as if she never existed. The Covid-19 separated us for months but we are back at the same place. She has been giving me green light since then. I'm confused if I should give her a shot again or just let her go. But I really love her. I don't plan to profess love to her rather just look for a way to sleep with her. OBARA JESUS! SLEEP? |

Ribadu2000: I begin to wonder why we are so blessed with bad leaders in this part of the world, palliatives were given by Federal Government and other philanthropies since June 2020, and governors and all other heads decided to hoard these things while people are starving to death day after days, to the extent that some part of these foods like garri and rice has started going bad, I hope they are not waiting for election to come before they begin to share it and tagged it stomach infrastructure, funny enough when minister incharge of the distribution of these food item confirmed how much was spent and how she supervised the distribution of these food items to all states of the federation, people were cursing her not knowing that she was telling the truth, time has come to stop this wickedness, this cruelty, selfishess and self-center leaders, God bless Nigerian youth, God bless new Nigeria, say no to brown envelope during election, say no to stomach infrastructure, soro soke!!!! So much hunger in the land of abundance, One Nigeria isn't feasible any longer. Even breaking up Nigeria doesn't look as though it'll end well. |

WILLuKPquiet: My advice to every youth reading this piece either male or female. Struggle hard to attain education and learn a trade also.
Leave this sick country and never ever plan to give birth in Nigeria and put your kids in the same nonsense you are witnessing.
Although, its good to be patriotic but not at the expense of your life. Run for your dear life.
As long as these politicians keep recycling themselves, there is no hope for this country.
Some forming patriotic will attack my post and I care less.
Never ever give birth here. Don't put your kids in same shit you are witnessing.
It is not going to be better but rather, it will get worse and worse till real revolution takes place. And it will be as bloody as the Civil War.
Be wise! Please shut up. Thanks. |

After this End SARS, #EndYahoo must trend ooo! And you must all protest. Hail You! Precisely what i was thinking. But trust youths to not even consider #EndYahoo. |
Celebrities › Re: Mercy Eke Joins EndSARS Protest In Lagos by NwadykExcel(m): 9:57pm On Oct 10, 2020 |
ILoveDemMANNA: I have been saying this from day one.....
EndSARS? Or restructure SARS? SPECIAL ANTI ROBBERY SQUAD.
Armed robbers are smiling already to come out in full force, to steal, kill, rape and destroy Nigerians, in every part of the country. What I want is for the biased officers among SARS to face serious repercussions for their crimes, not stopping them outrightly. These same armed robbers and fraudsters are the one supporting the outright ban of Special Anti Roberry Squad, and not serious punishment that will deter other officers from doing the same. (The same fraudsters that will resort to stealing and armed robbery if their maga refused to pay anymore, they will resort to crime to keep up with their flashy lifestyle). For every 10 good arrest of robbers and criminals that we see on Nairaland everyday , there must be one killing of innocent people by the bad eggs among them. Cutting off the head is not the solution to headache. If SPECIAL ANTI ROBBERY SQUAD is banned instead of serious punishment for the bad officers involved, Nigerians should get ready for the aftermath, I am only sorry for the good and innocent people that will be affected, many that will be robbed, raped, beaten and stabbed and they look back and regret the day they support END Special ANTI ROBBERY SQUAD in Nigeria! I have said my part. Bless You! |

GuyWise101: Nna mehnnnnn even if we did half of this protest against bad governance, we would have gotten the much CHANGE we have always longed for. I swear man. But what else can we expect from a country with visionless youths that are as directionless and the government. See as they are protesting endsars as though that would uplift the economy, reduce poverty, generate some form of money for job creation or even solve a single problem nigeria has. It's Endsars Endsars. A very misplaced movement |
Celebrities › Re: Don Jazzy Leads EndSARS Protest (Video) by NwadykExcel(m): 8:59pm On Oct 10, 2020 |
myBraine: Why is it that of all the problems ravaging this nation, ending Sars is the people's biggest priority.
Truly, there's a hidden agenda by the youths to sabotage government from Nigerian leaders.
I can't imagine any of this youth becoming my president anytime soon. I suggest it's high time we in the Northern hemisphere take a countermeasure. We need to protest against this protest.
In America, it was kiddos that were busy developing their country. Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gate, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, Paul Allen, Larry Page and Jeff Bezos all created a city called Silicon Valley while still in college. Today, the city host the biggest tech companies in the world. What have our youths here done to warrant them the privilege to protest? Tell them to venture into lucrative ventures like agriculture and they'll call you a cave man.
It is high time the military comes in. Here i was thinking that i was the only one with the same idea. You are insanely correct! I stand with you. |
