I have been seeing the calls but no time for them.

I refresh until I get a long call.

If after refreshing continuously, I couldn't get a long call, I chill for a while then repeat the refreshing process later.

I can't even remember the last time I worked on a call that's less than 20mins.

What Jude suggested is what is obtainable in other transcription sites I've visited. Not all transcribers are privileged to get the same calls. You basically work your way up the ladder of success. And at the very top, you be come a QA (SCC). Different levels, different pay package.
Its not a bad idea, if qa decides to implement it.
That way, we're sure of getting calls steady. Especially those of us doing this as a fulltime gig.

He suggested to Arlen what we nairalanders subscribers all thought was happening to QA world. He was busy telling her how calls should be seen based on priority. That people with higher ratings should see different queue from others and all. He must have gotten that idea from our complaints here.

Two guys who have come up with these suggestions are Nigerians. Same guys have been telling QA world to change recruitment tests, and get stricter and all. And they are nairalanders. I am very sure about this.

I agree. SCC already hinted the flooding of the platform with transcribers that turn in low quality work. I have noticed something. Every time we get that error 504 or 404 or something, after that, we get a major update. The queue reduced after the last major service outage. I think the top transcribers are seeing a different call queue. When they have their pick, the rest then gets passed down to the rest of the world. Just like newbies only get to see those 2-minute calls. They have no issues with the newcomers. They already have their problems solved if the weekly leaderboard is anything to go by.

I am a freelancer and a particular opportunity came along that requires I have a PayPal account. Seeing that thread is helpful in doing that I have been asking questions. I used info from a website to open the Lesotho acc though I haven't received funds from it, the site suggested the following:-

-Open a personal account
- Use a Lesotho fake No
- Use a Lesotho address

all this might be issues if PayPal limits the account and requests additional information. I don't want to collect the wrong africard.
That's what I am trying to correct here. I don't want to have to deactivate the acc and open a new one.

I hope that has clarified everything. I really appreciate the info on this and all your contributions.

With my experience so far, i guess it will help a lot folks that are yet to get their prepaid card..

1. Make sure that your billing address on paypal will be the same with the one you'll fill during the card application. If your PayPal address is not correct, you can edit it (i edited mine)
2. Request for the card from the customer service before he starts filling the details online. Once the card is with you, check the back of the envelope and see if what is written is INTERNATIONAL HIGH. if not, don't allow the personnel to continue with the process online.(i had same issue. I didn't check the back of the envelope and the guy ended up giving me LOCAL HIGH. So please ensure you collect the card envelope and check before he proceeds )
3. If the account (INTERNATIONAL HIGH) is successful, ensure you deposit at least #2000.

4. Once step 1-3 is correctly followed, you can now proceed with both the linking and confirmation.

In Domain Name business, you don't need to bother yourself about those metrics. If you have good city + service/keyword rich domain name, go and do out bounding asap. Na over sabi end users dey ask for those SEO jagons. Cheers

What you circled is called Moz rank it shows the ranking strength of a domain name for any keyword you target on it.

In a lay man term, if domain X(Moz Rank 3) and Domain Y(Moz Rank 1) target the same keyword, "Domain Name Business in Naija" for instance, domain X will outrank domain Y in Search Engine Result Page (SERP) even if domain Y covers the subject more than domain X.

However Moz Rank is an outdated ranking signal, its good to make use of Trust Flow (Tf) and Citation Flow (Cf) to check the strength of domain names. Hope that helps.

Edited: The domain name in the image shown is very weak with PA 1 and DA 1, or probably unused. Is the domain the one you are planning to sell?? Just curious tho.
