I agree with you when you say democracy isn't for us. Because clearly it hasn't work well. Neither is dictatorship for us. Because we are too diverse for that as a country. Good point.

I disagree with you when you say we should try the system of Singapore.

How are we sure it won't give same results as the democratic or autocratic system?

What I feel there is a need for a referendum where we tailor out system of government according to our needs, present circumstances, our diversity and the crop of people we have.

Because as we have clearly seen what worked for A might not work well for B.
