Fret not thyself sis! Wait all the days of thy appointed time until your change comes....lol. We really don't know what's going on, folks are just making wild guesses like, they have a lot of backlog from previous years, etc. Let's just pray and hope for the best. Meanwhile, you may want to look at improving your score majorly through writing another IELTS or prospecting for a PNP. Saskatchewan's own is yet to commence but might start very soon. You may check out their website and find the list of occupation they need people for to see if yours is there -
http://www.economy.gov.sk.ca/immigration/express-entry . You can then quickly gather all required docs just in case your profession is there and be prepared so when they open it, you quickly apply before the 1000 people they need gets taken fast(the one they did in January for 500 people maxed out possibly in like 30mins)

HI KIRRI, They do that if your result dont really match. e.g if you scored 8 in reading and 4 in writing. It rings a bell so they look for your script to reassess it. No worries. It will soon be out

I want to know the steps after application. i.e if i have been invited to apply proper ly what are the next steps, when do i get PER, When do i get charged, Pls i dont mind a link if this steps have been outlined earlier. I've just re-confirmed from my friend who went there via same programme that notarized copies should be used when uploading your docs(I think I had assumed everyone will know it is copies you notarize and not originals). He told me of a Naija guy who applied last year and he got there this month, that the guy also uploaded notarized copies, as that is what he was told while there are still people from 2013 who are yet to get their visa. I suppose the notarization makes them have more confidence in the authenticity of the documents you are using. Also, on a Filipino forum for mpnp, a guy there said bank statement must be notarized which I feel others can just be notarized as well. However, a woman told me she didn't notarize her own, she's just been asked additional docs, which she's forwarded to them. As it stands, I guess you may just decide what you will do

Okay so it is better to upload notarize photocopies than original documents.

You can try to get your statement of result or drop an address of any educational institution and later collect your transcript from the person. When my hubby wanted to scollect his by hand. He used my office and my post cos i work in a n educational institution. If yoou have any family working in a university. Get to your school and pur the persons name and address. The transcript will be sent to the person and you collect from the person. cos you have to scan the documents to them.

Pls is there anyone applying for the MPNP which will open in APril 30. I read from their site that i will have to scan all my documents (original) to them. My question is that do i have to notarize my original documents. I believe notarization is only needed to authenticate photocopied documents, especially when one will have to submit the documents to CIC (applying for PR). Please someone should help me.

Meanwhile, 7th draw has taken place, with 469 being the cut-off score and 925 people I think, given ITA. That's an increase of 16 in the cut-off score compared to the last one at 453. Lots of reason are being speculated for the increase but we aren't so sure. Seem some people rejected ITAs, while it also seem some are entering the pool newly or some improving on their score by having their spouses do ECA and IELTS. According to information on this cic link - http://news.gc.ca/web/article-en.do?nid=961369&tp=930 , about 22,000 people are in the pool(it's a plus or minus not really exact), which is after the 6th draw, we still trying to figure if the cut-off score will drop to like 300 in future draws considering the number of people they want to bring to Canada this year(not sure but I've been seeing figures like 85,000; 185,000 which I think is inclusive of the normal usul allocations to the provinces for their respective PNP programmes ). However, many of the provinces given slots for EE PNP are yet to start giving theirs out so, it's not very known yet what the EE score will drop to. Wish all applicants good fortune in the programme in Jesus name.

Meanwhile, the normal MPNP stream for 2015 will open April 30th. Those who are planning to apply (you can only qualify initially if you know someone in Manitoba who will sponsor you) may start getting their documents ready. There are slots for 5,000 applicants and I learnt all documents to be uploaded needs to be notarized. God bless us all

hello everyone..pls I am in a bit of confusion...I jave done verification with wes and have 4yrs degree as my equivalent. .have also written ielts and made r8w6.5s6.5l8...I wrk in a finacial sector with 8 yrs wrk experince and will be 32yrs by may...now to my question..what is likely to be my points under the express entry as I tried to submit my profile last nyt and after succesful submission got a mail that I am not eligible. .although a friend told me people have been having this challenge and its a system error..now if it happens that its corrected how can I retrieve the submission and make another one?

The problem might be the amount you stated you are coming into Canada with. If the amount is too small for the number of family members it will say u are not eligioble

This trend is so educative. I will need the guidance of experience people in the house. I had a 2:2(3.31) in my first degree in mechanical engineering. I graduated from my MBA with an average of 65.7 which is approx 3.57/4.00 (UK). My GMAT score is 580 and i have 11 years of work experience with 4 years being in the management level. I have a dream of doing a PhD (management) in Canada. Advice on the following areas:
1. Chance of getting admission for my PhD
2. Which schools will you advice that will increase my chance as well as return on investment.
3. My main priority is permanent resident (PR) permit.
4. Will going for MSC or master in engineering management be a good option, if yes, which schools do you think will accept me based on my detail above.
5. What other options do you think i can apply knowing that PR is my main priority.

For my ECA, can i also use ICAS or is WES the best.

I am back again. Please does anyone have a recent GMAT or GRE Textbook. I applied for MSc at the University of Lethbridge and i require GMAT for Masters in Management. I have a chance if i can have an high score in GMAT. Pls i need help on study guides and what i need to do to be fully prepared for the GMAT. By the way the IELTS general test i did was okay, ia ctually have a good feeling about it, so anybody willing to help this girl.

No i dont. I registered directly with the british council and i used their preparation page http://www.roadtoielts.com/ . they also have one with a price tag.
