Hey, MichV. I have not sent yet because my own application will be 12 weeks tomorrow and i dont think its okay to send a mail before processing time passes. It will end in praise in Jesus Name.

I got a mail from CIC yesterday...it was a refusal.
The VO handling my file must have been high on some very cheap substance cause he said I had insufficient funds and my travel history.
Anyways that's his/her opinion and he/she is entitled to it. A BIG thank you to thesoj and khalesi for your time in guiding me through the application process. I have no intention of reapplying guys so there is NO NEED to throw a pity party or shell out words of wisdom.

I wish all those still expectant of TRV the best in their application.

You need to keep your application simple.

I think it's a bit clumsy.

You have a nice profile but you seem to have complicated things.

You do not need to attach a picture showing you're sober or mourning.....seems desperate. If you are applying via paper route vfs won't accept or collect the pictures from you.

Though your undergrad discipline is in French but since you have a six years experience in IT..... I think you're good to go...

I think you need to find another explanation for your study/employment gap between August 2015 and now. Don't lie about when your mom died....these CIC people have records and this might backfire in the nearest future when you're applying for work permit or PR.

Your travel history is good enough but it's just a bonus to your application.... The real issue for study permit/trv is proof of financial capacity, home tie and purpose of visit.

The financial documents you intend to submit.... I really don't understand them particularly SCB I wouldn't know what that means but they seem cogent enough.

It's good that your husband and daughter will not be applying with you....you can use them as home tie.

You actually have a nice profile but please and please DO NOT LIE IN YOUR APPLICATION ESPECIALLY ABOUT THINGS THAY CAN/MAY BE VERIFIED BY CIC IN THE NEAREST FUTURE. (Death certificate cannot be issued twice and you don't know if CIC will request for it in the future)

Please try as much as possible to keep your application simple and unambiguous.

You seem to know much about travelling to Canada as you've attempted to fix/answer any query or question a VO might have. However, you profile screams desperation.

This is my humble opinion and does and not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of Canadian Visa Officer.

The VO handling my application called me yesterday night around 11pm....she said she saw my photograph passport and she just needed to hear my voice and that she would like to go out with me and that she likes my personality and the kind of man i am, that i am her type of man bla bla bla...... I told her I would get back to her regarding her proposal. Guys what do you think ? Do you think going out with her will affect the outcome of my application? should I date her ?

Tho I am going for open work permit.. I believe the processing are different from students visa..

I'm sorry I haven't experienced it yet but bosypumpin said something about this some pages back. I feel the hospital should be able to rresend the result. Worst case send them a case specific enquiry. So those guys work on Saturday. Ok now.

oya now start booking now now. I believe the has been a lot of people who expeienced it. I got that sot of mail some weeks afte I applied and after then till now nothing yet. I have booked two tickets online (without pay of couse) and I lkook at it as an object of faith. I have applied since 22nd of April (sorry about typos.my phone is oild. i linked my app since MAY after submission i got same message like yours in 2nd wk of june and up till now nothing. atimes i wonder if it is a glitch in their system or have they cued my application amongst to be rejected or for med.call,my thought/worries though....

I have gotten that mail at a particular time too. Its an auto responder set, so anytime a VO goes though your application you get that message. I have applied for Express entry and sometimes get the same message. Some might get it up to two times before medical call or visa so its nothing to be worried about.

I was called for medicals after doing upfront medicals in March..

When I got to Abuja Clinics.. The doctor said.. That they had mailed CIC my results since March.. So he said I should use my uci number of the hospital and send the ime or is it imi number then attached a copy of my results showing the printed form they gave me.

The bone of contention now is what's the email address I am to send those details too? The doctor said I should go to SilverBird and ask for the addresse.. But today is still sallah break.. And I live outside Abuja..

Has anyone ever sent dis kind of stuff? Which email did you use?

Kindly help as dis is urgent!

Sure you can apply for COOP work permit from Nigeria. Even CIC stated that you should apply for coop work permit together with your study permit.

is Coop stated in your admission letter as part of your academic program? Or you are talking about normal 20 hours work you can do as a student? If COOP is part of your program, i think you have to apply for work permit separately as your study permit does not cover the COOP Program. I think you should be able to do it when you get to maple land. #Godspeed.

Hello, I just discovered that even though work was part of my study progrmmes in Canada (post graduate diploma). I only applied for study permit and when filling the pre application questtioniare online I picked the option that explains that work was not part of my study in Canada. Someone told me I shouldn't bother that after I get to Canada I can apply for the work permit but I hope this won't be classified as giving wrong information. Someone should please epp. By the way I submitted my application online on the 22nd of April and no Medical call yet.

Yes you still can though it is likely u might not get visa until your resumption is quite close sha cos 14 weeks from next week still fall in September. And u could be lucky and ur app will be treated in shorter time. Your faith is needed. Regards.
