Goldensword:That's not a fungal infection. That's a viral one. OP should visit a specialist. Those viral infection are a cankaworm. They are extremely hard to remove or treat. Battled one when i was much younger on my right leg. Towards the ankle. Not gory like yours and not same infection but it was sore with multiple pores and punctures. Scratches like hell and spreads when you touch it. Couldn't wear shorts for more than 6years. Imagine going to school without being able to walk around because you have this 100s of these tiny pores on your right leg with pus? Only healed after 6 years of building immunity and continued drug use to avoid a relapse. 10 years after now, all i can see is a just tiny dark scars that have healed from then. You can't even notice except you stare under ambient light. Go to a Clinic. But don't expect quick cure. It would take months of careful management to be able to get rid of those viruses before your leg starts healing... Also those drugs are extremely expensive. I remember as far back as then., One of the external cream i was given to apply was about 6k. Imagine 6k in 2007 to now and it lasts just about a month. |
Weekly. The washing machine and t Dryer does the washing so no stress. Ican understand people who don't wash more than once a month due to them using their hands. That can be very stressful |
markovnikoff001:Most deaths can be examined away by simple facts. Nigerians just tend to take the easy way out by ascribing it to something unknown or some supernatural thing instead of learning and making use of such situations to prevent future occurrence. I can bet you in the last 3 years. This isn't the first case i have seen on Nairaland. But everyone just comes up saying they were killed and placed there, magun, spiritual attack etc without bringing up any iota of evidence to support their postulations. |
markovnikoff001:https://www.abe.iastate.edu/extension-and-outreach/carbon-monoxide-poisoning-vehicles-aen-208/ This should clear it for you. What causes carbon monoxide poisoning from vehicles? 1. Operating a vehicle with a defective exhaust system. 2. Operating a vehicle with a defective emission system or poorly tuned engine. 3. Driving a vehicle with the trunk lid or rear tailgate open. 4. Driving a vehicle with holes in the car body. 99% of Nigerian cars have the check engine light on. When you point it out to most car owners they tell you it is nothing. Just a faulty o2 sensor or another sensor they say. And since we don't do emissions testing when going for Road worthiness , i am sure this car won't even bw certified road worthy in a sane environment. |
Zyxsc:Do those House ACs produce CO2 like the exhaust of cars? Why do you think we hear tens of deaths on a yearly basis about families that died from generator fumes? |
Acidosis:Are you guys never tired of this archaic method of ascribing death that is easily explainable? If you listened to your biology teacher well in high school, you don't need further explanation. Diffusion and osmosis would have told you that a car isn't 100% sealed even when the windows are wound up so definitely gas moved from region of higher concentration i.e outside to inside. Also we know how lots of used cars in Nigeria are mostly accidented or flooded cars with rust. I won't be surprised if the underneath of the car had a lot of rust and holes in it. CO definitely must have passed through there into the car and Made it a coffin for both. Also CO is crazy, it is colorless, tasteless and odorless. Would kill you in a matter of minutes. What they would feel is a bit of headache and they may ascribe it to the sex. Next you feel nausea and can't even move your limbs and next is death. |
Lol... Peace mass employees posting after each other. Quite rookie.... All have no gender and say almost the same things. Also all have posted on almost the same topics. Well done. Same peace mass transit ? Same transport company a friend who travelled to Nnewi some two weeks ago came back and was asking why people still use Peace after seeing another of their bus under the trailer along Benin -Ore expressway? Instead of spending money trying launder image. Prolly the company should actually invest that money into their drivers and relax the targets ,pay them well and trainnthem properly so they learn to drive within safety road limits. |
icehot:Hi when are you leaving? |
JONNYSPUTE:I have a car wash next to my house. I don't wash with them anymore. Last time i washed with them ,they billed me exorbitantly after numerous hailing and washed rubbish. Couldn't complain because they were close to home. Now i wash far away from home where i get satisfaction for fees paid without having to drop money for the boys |
JohnyF:Wow congratulations. When was your file submission? I.e when did it get to IRCC |
JohnyF:Someone recalled from IRCC. Sent a mail to them that they should return the passports. Said it was delivered back in 7 days. Email : LDNimmigration@international.gc.ca If yours has reached up to 30days i believe you should still hold out. I recall seeing a mail whwre they stataed 30 working days to fullfil such requests. |
JohnyF:Nothing.. thinking of pulling by First of week of May if i get no feedback or signs of Progress. |
JohnyF:Any updates? |
Oben209:I also asked for status and got this response below. I haven't gotten any notification of passport return . Sent email April 20th and got response 2days after. Dear Applicant, Unfortunately, due to limited resources and seasonal increases in applications, we are experiencing delays in sending out landing documents. We are unable to advise when we will be able to contact you, however we will endeavour to send your documents out as soon as we are able to. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Kind Regards You should prolly send to Cairo or another VO |
Oben209:Wait what? so they just held it without stamping and returned it same way? What did your email state? Did you request return in the email or any hint of it? |
Lhezy:Just calculated. The timeline doesn't work for me. If i recall, it would be more than the stipulated 30days before i can get it to another VO. Would just send them an email asking if they can kindly please expedite or give specific completion timelines so we know what we are dealing with. |
Lhezy:Thank you. Was it with Vfs or IRCC at this point? And if IRCC what email address? |
dboY1123:I actually empathise with you. But i think what is needed is more of an understanding . Muslim prayers are time bound. I.e have specific times they must be said. I guess she not leaving the shop and praying in there is based on the fact that she is required to be available during all hours of work which puts her in a difficult position as regards her religion. It is easier for a Christian in a work environment as you can schedule your prayer times but not the other way round. I think you should speak to her. If she can find someplace outside the shop premises to say her prayers , fine and okay. You should also be willing to be accomodate that she would be away for about 5mins each at 2pm and 4pm on a daily basis. If this would not work for you . Then you have to let her know about this. There's no harm in open and honest communication as long as it is not prejudiced. |
boolet:This is actually daft. If he received the alcoholic drink and hand it over to you. He is more like an alibi for causing sin. Buying alcohol for someone as a Muslim is termed as a sin. So he gifting you is almost equal to using his money to buy it for you. You lots need to understand other people's religion and ask questions before jumping into conclusion. That's clearly different from him washing a pot /plate used in making Pork. There are clear differences in things. Also eating Pork isn't a sin, it's more of an injunction from health perspectives which is clearly different from Alcohol which is an intoxicant and when taken you can't control your actions when under the influence and cansue other greater sins. |
Lhezy:Good. What was the recall process like? Can you give details? Number of days processes. |
ChiefVal:Each consent form for each applicant. Even minors |
Mooh247:A lot of which were built in Ukraine. Even till today lots of USSR made systems that are now in the hands of Russia were built in Kharkiv, Ukraine. You think it was a fluke when in the past. Ukraine used to be called the Fist of the USSR? |
bukatyne:He really isnt doing that well if he is in Lagos. 16years of experience should be bagging nothing less than 1.5 to 2M with the current realities in Nigeria and inflation trends. I have got offers that would pay slightly higher than that and years of experience is below a decade. That's why i believe lots of people should start talking about their salaries. All these keeping secrets about what you earn only benefits employers. |
452k after tax. Some months it is more than enough. Other months, spend to the last Kobo. But its fairly comfy. Fucking Lagos government deducting over 80k for Tax monthly though without any commensurate infrastructure to show. |
kingsonJR:Do you still need this? I have two samsung s8 plus panel. WhatsApp 0 9 0 6 2 .0. 8 .o 5.2 0 |
YourFavorite21:You just exposed your ignorance. Cars are now made to be softer and extend the crumple zone so when you have accidents. The car takes the hit and not the occupants. This car did exceptionally well. Even those that died might be sitting at the back and not using their sit belts and were flung out of the car. If it were older cars without better crumple zones, i can guarantee all might die |
angrybutsane:It is not always stated but i think everyone is entitled to a checkin luggage. On my itinerary it was stated we were entitled to bring in a baby car seat or push chair. But you can call them to verify |
rasheylaw:Prolly 2 to 3 hours . Now that Eko bridge is bad it might take you longer. For the costain route. Take a bus to obalende or CMS. From there get a bus going to Costain From Costain take another bus to Orile. And from Orile you get a bus to Mile 2. From Mile 2 you get a bus going to Lasu gate/Ojoo. For Oshodi route. Take a straight bus from Ajah to Oshodi. If you don't get this. Take one to Obalende and from Obalende to Oshodi. From Oshodi to Mile 2 And from Mile 2 to Lasu gate/ojo. |
o9o9:@lloid and graciousWords. Figured the process now. So it's straightforward. Gather all documents required. Print out the vfs consent form from VFS UK site. Fill for each applicant including minors. Vfs Uk can send out of the UK zone only (i.e only Denmark, Nowary and Sweden) and not back to Nigeria. Pay the Visa transmission fee for each applicant including minors(They confirmed you have to as the transmission is for the passport ) so every applicant has to be paid for. Pay the local uk courier fee or outside Uk courier fee. Please note this fee is also per applicant. I.e if you have 5 family members it is 5* courier fee. Get someone you have in the UK or any of the countries above and get their address. Print their details i.e Address on an A4 and add it to the Package). Then go to your local DHL and ship to the UK vfs address. They would ship back to the address you tpyed out. |
GraciousWords:Yeah you are right. Their outside of uk only covers Norway, Denmark, finland and Sweden. |
