I wish. If I do get an invite, believe me when I tell you that I will leave nothing when I waka! The way I dey see that country so . . . I am more convinced now than ever that nigerians surely do NEED to be dealt with, by those they have in leadership, in the way they continue to be. I do hope the turning point happens sometime in the near future or else this 4th(or is it third) most populated country in the world is in for a sadder reality.

[b]Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) National Chairman, Prince Tony Momoh has been denied visa as he plans to go to the United Kingdom to attend a family ceremony.

Prince Tony Momoh who is the National Chairman of a National Party and a
former Minister of the Federal republic of Nigeria, was denied on reason of not been a established citizen by the British high commission.

As part of the uninspiring reasons for the refusal, the UK High Commission
further stated: “I am not satisfied you are satisfactorily established in this
country or have demonstrated strong ties to it. Nor can I be satisfied that you
intend to leave the UK at the end of the period as stated by you and as required.

The CPC chairman made no protest but some prominent personalities who are not even members of his party was said to have frowned at the situation.

Ordinarily, denial or acceptance of visa application is strictly the discretion
of the issuing Country; however, it is bewildering when the decision is largely
based, not on the weight of the evidence supplied, but on some other clandestine criteria.

Though the evidence presented showed that a British Citizen, who works with a British bank and owns a 5-bedroom apartment, stated his relationship with Prince Momoh as his nephew coupled with the attached Bank statement; yet he wasn't given the pass.

Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) members claims foul play pointing accusing fingers at the ruling party for being involved in the matter and also saying there should be fairness in every policy implementation.[/b]
