Abu Dhabi police department has finally added the W Motors Lykan HyperSport to its fleet after four years of testing .

The ultra-rare Hypercar, the first supercar to be designed and produced in the Middle East , is one of just seven examples that will be made.

The 750hp Hypercar features a 3.8-liter flat-six Porsche engine that will take it to a 240 mph top speed and a zero to 60mph in 2.8-second,and a headlights that contains titanium LED blades with 420 diamonds.

Meet Diseye Tantua, a graduate of department of Fine and Applied‎ Art, that creates amazing art pieces from the parts of vintage cars.

Instead of using wood or other popular materials to make his furnitures, the experimental artist uses vintage car parts from cars like Volkswagen beetle and also his father’s classic Mercedes-Benz.

According to a report submitted to Ethiopian parliament, the Ethiopian Ministry of Transport (MoT) said the Chinese-built 34-km Addis Ababa Light Rail Transit (AALRT) network has earned around $3m (or about ₦1.1b in Naira) transporting more than 29 million passengers in Addis Ababa during the first 9 months of the current Ethiopian Fiscal Year 2018/19, which started July 8.

Commissioned in September 2015, the Addis Ababa Light Rail Transit AALRT is the first light railway in Africa built at a cost of 475 million U.S. dollars, with 85 percent of funding coming from the Export-Import Bank of China.

The rail project , which the Ethiopian government said has created 13,000 jobs ,was constructed by China Railway Engineering Corporation Limited (CREC) and is currently operated by Chinese firm Shenzhen Metro Group Company.

It is estimated that AALRT currently transports about 60,000 people daily, significantly reducing traffic congestion in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.

For the first time, a drone has delivered a donated kidney to a transplant patient who had waited eight years for a donor.

The organ was carried on a short, 10 minute, 2.7 mile test flight from Baltimore's St. Agnes Hospital to the University of Maryland medical center, and successfully transplanted a few hours after the delivery.

The drone was developed by physicians, researchers and aviation and engineering experts from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, the University of Maryland and the Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland.

The 44-year-old patient from Baltimore,who had spent eight years on dialysis before undergoing the transplant procedure, said:

Drone could soon become the fastest, safest and least expensive method for beating the organ transplant clock.

Typically, donor organs are delivered by either chartered or commercial flights. Sometimes, busy air traffic causes delays, while occasionally, an organ is left on a plane.

Roughly 1.5% of donor organ shipments did not make it to their intended destination, and nearly 4% had an unanticipated delay of two or more hours.

There were nearly 114,000 people on waiting lists for organ transplant in 2018.

Thieves managed to steal 124 wheels and tyres from 31 cars,that includes trucks and SUVs like the Chevrolet Tahoe and Silverado to cars and crossovers like the Malibu and Blazer,from a Chevrolet dealership in Slidell, Louisiana in one short night without getting caught.

According to news reports, the police have estimated the value of all the property stolen to be approximately $120,000 or ₦43.2m in Naira .

To drive, Miss Tisha Shelton, who is known online as Tisha UnArmed, uses an adapted car which has been fitted with a range of special devices including a left foot accelerator, a turn knob on the steering wheel and a voice command computer box which controls functions such as the turn signal and horn.

She steers with her right foot and uses her left foot to work the pedals, while special buttons in the headrest also allow her to activate the voice command computer box.

This is the moment a 10-car , 253 meter-long E5 Series Shinkansen bullet-train passes the station in just 3 seconds. The traveling speed this time is around 240 km/h (149 mph) , but it can achieve a maximum speed of 320 km/h (200 mph) if the need arises.

Top Nigerian artiste, Tiwatope Savage, professionally known as Tiwa Savage, has finally taken delivery of her newly acquired customised luxury Mercedes Benz V-Class.

Recall that the singer had earlier shared the photos and video of the exceptionally stylish and comfortably spacious customized car few weeks back.

A short clip of the ₦60m 2019 Mercedes Benz V250d was posted on Instagram by media personality Azuka Ogujiuba and she revealed the singer paid ₦15m to clear her luxury ride when it arrived Nigeria.

According to the three-pointed star company, the luxury Mercedes Benz V250d ,the mid-range and Extra Long version of the AMG V-Class - is the quickest in the lineup, covering the 0 to 62 mph sprint in 7.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 137 mph.

European aircraft maker, Airbus , has just released a fascinating 2-minute video showing the assembly of an A330-900 jetliner, from the delivery of components all the way through to fitting the fuselage together,spray-painting its livery, and finally to flight.

The mesmerising video, filmed at the plane manufacturer's plant in Toulouse, France, starts with the parts being unloaded from a whale-shaped cargo plane called Airbus Beluga 3.

The A330-900 plane in the video, named Aapravasi Ghat, after a Mauritian UNESCO World Heritage site, has now been handed over to Air Mauritius.

Daimler, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz, says it has no idea where North Korean leader Kim Jong Un got his armored limousines and has no business dealings with the Asian country .

Kim has raised eyebrows by using stretched Mercedes Maybach S600 Pullman Guard and a Mercedes Maybach S62 at several high-profile summits, including his earlier summits with US President Donald Trump and his meeting this week with President Vladimir Putin in Russia.

The sale of luxury goods, including limousines, is banned under U.N. sanctions that is intended to put pressure on North Korea to abandon its nuclear weapons.

Daimler spokeswoman Silke Mockert said in a written response to an AP report on the limousines said :

"We have absolutely no idea how those vehicles were delivered to North Korea,"

"For Daimler, the correct export of products in conformance with the law is a fundamental principle of responsible entrepreneurial activity."

Daimler ,who admitted that it has no control over the actions of third-party or second-hand dealers, also added that :

"Our company has had no business connections with North Korea for far more than 15 years now and strictly complies with E.U. and U.S. embargoes"

"To prevent deliveries to North Korea and to any of its embassies worldwide, Daimler has implemented a comprehensive export control process. Sales of vehicles by third parties, especially of used vehicles, are beyond our control and responsibility."

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's ability to procure the German-made limousines is a good example of how porous the international sanctions tend to be.

His Mercedes Maybach versions, that are estimated to have been worth well over $1 million each at the time of purchase, are believed to be equipped with bulletproof and bombproof features and a toilet.

On Monday, Tesla held its investors’ meeting, an event during which the latest advancements and plans in bringing full self-driving to the market cars were presented.

Among the presentations includes a full self-driving computer chip,that will replacing Tesla’s Autopilot 2.5  computer, along with a two-minutes video showing a trip taken by a full self-driving Model 3. 

The video starts with the driver setting the destination and engaging Autopilot . As soon as the computer calculates the route, the car sets off and enters the road.

The fast-forwarded video goes to show how well the Model 3’s self-driving tech can handle bends, stop signs, junctions, merging, exits and so on.

Tesla also showed off a concept car that has no steering wheel.  The all-electric automaker plans to have a production version on the road in two to three years time.

Governor of Ondo State,Rotimi Akeredolu,has ordered the withdrawal of all the branded vehicles he donated for the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari and the party's candidates during the 2019 general election.

The memo, which was signed by Isiaka Yusuf, the Senior Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Governor, and sent to both the elected lawmakers and the 18 LGA chairmen,read:

“I have been directed by Mr. Governor to withdraw the branded Sienna in your possession,"

“You are required to submit the vehicle to the office of the SSA (Political Matters) on or before Friday 12th April 2019. Please, kindly comply. SSA (Political Matters)."

Which is quicker in a drag race between the two most luxurious Sport Utility Vehicles on sale?

Carfection brought the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Bentley Bentayga together on track for a straight-line drag to settle the question once and for all.

On paper, the Bentayga has Bentley's 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 542 horsepower and 568 pound-feet while the heavier and more powerful Rolls-Royce Cullinan has Rolls' 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 making 563 horsepower and 627 pound-feet.

27-year-old Swiss professional footballer and Liverpool ace, Xherdan Shaqiri, has bought a brand Rolls-Royce Wraith . The grand tourer (GT) ,which is also owned by Cristiano Ronaldo, Antoine Griezmann and Man Utd's Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba, is based on the chassis of the  Rolls-Royce Ghost.

Shaqiris version, the Rolls-Royce Black Badge Wraith, described by the British luxury automaker as "the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever ", is the latest version of the model.

The name Wraith comes from an old Scottish word meaning "image of a ghost or spirit". Its 624-hp twin-turbocharged V-12 is the most powerful engine offered in any of the Rolls-Royce cars (Phantom's engine is the most silent) . It will carry the Wraith to 60 mph from a standstill in 4.3 seconds.
