I usually prefer selling a plural first before buying the singular if it's still available. But this buyer beat me to this upon the big discount I gave him. We move.

That's a bold step bro. I remembered how Dan will keep sending a reminder email to buyers that made an offer.
There's this sense of relief anytime I get an offer through Dan.
These days to sell a geo domain on Afternic, the buyer have to be 101% ready and desperate.

This is one of the problems that's making me to consider Spaceship more and more. Lack of LTO at the latter is probably the main thing still holding me back.

If I must accept offers, let me be in charge! It's the same way I noticed that a particular domain had one lead at a time under the Lead column but I was never informed until this moment.

Very bad of them. Why can't I be in control of my leads and offers. But they choose to monetize something as simple as Leads just like every of their other services.

Many Geo domain names are still unsold because this Afternic guys careless about the seller. Almost a year, and we're still mourning Dan.

Why is Afternic doing like this. I got an offer yesterday and I'm not even aware. I only got to know when I checked the Brokered leads section and I'm seeing Negotiations Stalled. For a domain I listed for 399 with floor price of 200 and the buyer made an offer of 250.

Now,im asking Vincent B to explain and he's not responding. OMG

Afternic is something else.

I got an offer since 6th of this month and I am not aware until I checked the brokered leads tab. I just message the broker to accept the offer. Now I don't know when the broker will respond to me. Is there any way to fast track this process?

Same thing ooo. I made a post previously on some steps to avoid entering spam.

In addition, like what I did yesterday, in the first email,

I started with

hello/hi firstname,

Then, I type normal short convo without putting the domain name.

Then ended with closing remarks and my name.

Then I sent the email to a new Gmail it didn't enter spam. Then I went further to include the domain again and the price still didn't enter spam when I tested with a new Gmail again.

So I have a working email template at least for a week. Then the other templates that are entering spam will be for the follow ups.

That's what I've been doing lately. A very short message as first outbound. Another trick to add link to your first outbound is writing the domain name all in small letters without the www.

4. New people will find it easily to trust you because when they see your customers, they will be satisfied that your products will work.

The list goes on and on...It endless.

I don't think that's the issue though. I also noticed that the renewal price they add to the listed price is not stable. I have a domain showing $21.99 for renewal on the checkout page.

Has anyone tried clicking on buy now on any of their domain name listed with GoDaddy?

I noticed the checkout price is always higher than the buy now you listed aside the renewal fee they usually add.

A domain listed for $300 showing $400 at the checkout page with additional $13 for renewal fee. That's $413

This will really affect geo-Domains listed with Godady. Someone should confirm this please

From the screenshot you uploaded, there is another code below the text record you can copy. I mean the Name server.

Copy it and go back to your domain registrar. Open the the Name server of the particular domain where you have ns1 and ns2.afternic.com and add it as the third Nameserver

Dan offers simple payout options (Bank transfers, Payoneer, PayPal, BitPay) that don't involve anything complicated.
I will advise you always choose Bank Transfer option, select £ pound Sterling as payout currency, and link your Grey GBP bank account. That is the simplest option for me. With this settings, you not need to notify Dan about your preference. And if you prefer crypto option, link your BitPay and leave it there to avoid payout glitches like this one.

However, if you want to change your payout option, you can do that before you submit Auth code of a sold domain, and inform Dan about the charge in case the system takes longer time to propagate.

You said you changed from BitPay to USD to GBP bank account. Since you didn't receive the payout in your BitPay, possibly it was sent to your USD bank account, that is if you select dollar currency payout option. This may take up to a week to arrive. If that didn't happen, the fund would return back to Dan, and you would be notified. In three weeks' time or less, everything should be resolved in your favor.

I wish you success.

Luckily for me, the fund returned to Dan after 24hours and it was sent to my GBP Grey account.

You have to wait for about 10 days for the money to be reversed

Yeah they just told me I should wait for 5 - 10 days so the money can be return to them.

DAN sent payment Tuesday last week to Grey GBP acc

Grey says usd to the acc is blocked & as such, DAN should recall. DAN says they can't recall, I should wait for rejection.

Grey says automatic rejection takes 1-3business days & if that doesn't occur, DAN has to ask for recall

DAN says I should wait for rejection.

Please it is not advisable to change your payout currency after immediately after landing a sale.
I made this mistake yesterday and I am yet to receive my payout. I change my payout option from Bitpay to Grey then USD to GBP.
Now Dan is saying we have to wait for the money to return.

Has anyone experienced this before? Please how long did it take to get everything resolved?

I made a sale on Dan via Afternic Reseller Network (according to the email I got from Dan). I've sent the Auth. Code from directnic and I was told that Afternic is handling the transfer process which will last for 5 to 7 days.

The problem now is that the sold domain name will be expiring the very day the transfer process will be completed( if it's 5 days).

I want to know if it won't affect the process or I should renew the domain name before it expires?

Dan's conversion from USD to GBP doesn't affect anything. And if you receive the payout in GBP to Grey, what we should now check is the current conversion rate from GBP to Naira.
But if the crypto payout works, stick to it.

Grey is as fast as getting paid in bitcoin. Though I lost like 5k which also covers the swap charges on Grey.
