patriotic9jaboy: This is to appeal to every southerners that our future is in our hands. A united south is what we need now to stand against northern oppression and divide and rule tactics. We must ensure we work together to restore power to the south by 2019. The north obviously has a grand plan of retaining power for so long and this is obvious in the way Tinubu is been put in check so as to limit his influence in the party decisions and made irrelevant in the scheme of things. We never expected such treatment from the north after all we did to support Buhari in the last election. Oyegun is obviously been used to fight a proxy war with Tinubu by the born to rule caliphate up north who will do anything to render his power bloc handicap so as to ensure their grip on power. We need the support our SS/SE brothers to make this happen. Lets us unite and forget all grievances. A united south can wrestle power away from the north with the support of Christian minorities in the middle belt and the north. GEJ was a bad president contrary to our thoughts in 2011 when we supported him massively with our votes. He failed woefully and corruption thrived to the highest heavens during his tenure. Contrary to the believe of our SS/SE brothers, yoruba's did not vote Jonathan out because of hatred or betrayal. He simply under-performed and did nothing for the SW region and even boasted that Igbo's are the backbone of his presidency forgetting that the SW supported him massively in 2011. Buhari appeared to be the messiah but so far, the hardship in the land is so unbearable and there is no end in sight to the present predicaments facing us as a nation. Buhari has no economic blueprint and his style of governance is archiac and filled with bad policies like banning forex for importation of consumer goods and releasing the same scarce forex for Islamic religious pilgrimage. It's a bad situation we are in and we need to co-operate to undo this mistake in 2019. Every one is facing hardship and bearing the brunt of inflation and recession irrespective of our tribes and regions. This is why we need the support of our SS/SE brothers in 2019 to vote buhari out. Let's form an alliance and forget past mis-deeds. We are better united in the south than been ruled by a primitive caliphate who believed they are born to rule without positive results....
God bless SW /SS and SE Oga park well abeg. You did not know all this in 2015 Abi. If you expect the SE and SS to form an alliance with the SW after what you all did in 2015 then you must be dreaming. I don't pity Jagaban for all he is experiencing now he deserves it and more. It will even be better let EFCC open his case files on previous corrupt charges. |

Politics › Re: Yorubas Do You Regret Voting For Buhari?? by obakore20(m): 6:11am On Jul 21, 2016 |
[quote author=MayorofLagos post=47647683]I have held my tongue on the issue of SW voting out Jonathan to favor Buhari. It is time to speak to this.
In the primaries of 2008, Obama against Clinton. Obama beat Clinton in Iowa, a traditionally white stthe and went on to clinch the Democrat Flag. Obama then also beat the Repblican McCain and won the Presidency election. Obama was not elected because Whites wanted anything from him or that they were slaves to Blacks or because they hated Clinton or McCain. These are all sentiments and illogical attributes.
The mainstay of American politics and economy is white race, just as the mainstay of Nigerian politics and economy is Yoruba.
Point of correction Yoruba are not the
America, due to the irresponsibility of Bush Administration, had become a liability and lost command of global influence. The custodians of the value system rebelled against their own and gave electoral power to a political rookie with an unfamiliar name and presence.
Here in Nigeria, the Yorubas, the mainstay of the economy and politics of this nation, the custodians of our value system, went through the cycle in three phases:
1 - they demanded and got justice on political mandate stolen from Abiola. In the election of 1999 it was either Falae or Obasanjo, both Yoruba.
2 - in aftermath of YarAdua's death, Hausas dominated the throne and frantically rushed to rob Jonathan his statutory right by replacing the elected YarAdua with an un elected replacement from their midst. Ijaws were powerless, Ibos were powerless to oppose North and restore justice for Jonathan. The Yorubas opposed the Hausas and made sure Jonathan succeded and took the oath of office.
3 - Under Jonathan Nigeria became a liability, lost all glory and the Presidency became an embarrassment around the globe. In 2015 Yorubas once more stepped in to restore our national value stock. They opposed the candidacy of Jonathan.
4 - Yorubas voted Buhari in because we needed to restore the political credibility of Nigeria and it was evident Jonathan was "clueless" on what to do to keep the economy and political knots of this country from coming loose. Buhari does ot have a clue either, but they shored him up with a steady hand, a Yorubaman, to keep the stake at equity level so the aspirations of the Northerner can be tempered when a time comes again, as it often does, for Yoruba to jump in and correct errors.
Those who grieve over Yoruba power at monopolizing political direction of the country are haters of our national value system. These people are intent on destroying Nigeria at all cost and anyone advocating a repair and restoration is an enemy of theirs.
Anambra11, you SE/SS had plenty opportunity and options to retain Jonathan in power if the outcome of the election was unsatisfactory to you but you did not use any of your options. Buhari is in power because Yoruba voted him but Jonathan is out because you cowards failed to live to your threats that if Jonathan is not President nobody else will and you will burn Nigeria down.
While Orubebe, a SS man was stopping the count in opposition of Buhari's victory Ibos were behind the scene whispering to Jonathan to pick up phone, congratulate Buhari and concede the election. It was a calculated move meant to buy them out of probe and jailtime.
While results were still coming in we see Madueke and Ogar, hijab on head, next morning at cock crow visiting Abdulsalami to be their tenor in Aso. These were die hard pro Jonathan, already dumped their useless principal and looking for favors with incoming administration. Obiano was visiting and congratulating Buhari before any politician from West had done so.
You Ibos need to cover your face in shame. Yorubas survive with or without Nigeria.
In fact, in closing we ought to ask, can Nigeria survive without Yorubaland?[/quote
Please what facts do you have to back the Yoruba race as the mainstay of the Nigerian ECONOMY? The IGR Lagos state generates are most from their market which is dominated by more than 75-80% of non-Yoruba or theNiger delta that accounts for more than 80% of Nigeria revenue. Please whenever you want to make a point speak the truth or otherwise ddon't say a thing. Don't be like your leaders that are specialist at misleading people using media propaganda and false information. |
Politics › Re: APC Crisis: Why Tinubu Unleashed His Bloggers Against Buhari by obakore20(m): 1:24pm On Jun 27, 2016 |
RZArecta: International Guardian – Houston, TX- Several news headlines exposing the hidden side of the Buhari’s regime have been rocking the news media. For instance, last week’s story that Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Tukur Buratai, and his two wives owning a Dubai property paid for in one transaction did not fall from the sky. Thus, influx of very revealing stories about the regime has been attributed to a final crash of long but complicated partnership between a supposedly, leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu and President Muhammadu Buhari.
Their political love affair has taken a new turn, leaving the President and his cronies dazed with multiple media attacks, including leakages of sensitive documents incriminating key members of the administration. Key bloggers loyal to Tinubu have already taken credit of the attacks, warning that “the worst is yet to come.”
Tinubu, it was gathered, had rallied his media, including major Nigerian news outlets, print, electronic, and social media to fight down the ex-general for entirely scorning his interests, and breaching major promises made during the electioneering campaign. The regime on its own part, has snubbed Tinubu’s advances and rebranded into action, its propaganda machine facilitated by Femi Adesina, Buhari’s Special Adviser (Media and Publicity).
“The blogs are hot; you may checkout what is happening right now, and more is coming,” a Blogger who identified himself as “Internet James Bond” told our newsroom. In the past two weeks, Buhari’s regime has been under pressure over trending news pieces regarding himself, family, and key members of his administration.
“The breaking news recently revealing how President Muhammadu Buhari, and his wife Aisha owns a sprawling Asokoro lakeside mansion in Abuja was not coincidental,” claimed a source associated with Tinubu’s camp. “We knew that Aisha and Buhari own this hidden property; we had this information even before the election, and we knew why all of a sudden the story is all over the media. Just don’t ask me, because I won’t say more than this… But tell them that more is coming” Tinubu, BUhari - when the going was goog. Their political love affair has taken a new turn, leaving the President and his cronies dazed with multiple media attacks, including leakages of sensitive documents incriminating key members of the administration. Tinubu, Buhari – when the going was good. Their political love affair has taken a new turn, leaving the President and his cronies dazed with multiple media attacks, including leakages of sensitive documents incriminating key members of the administration. Similar stories also made it to the newsstand, and swamped the social media with threads of commentaries. For instance, one Air Commodore Umar Muhammed (rtd), a top appointee of President Muhammadu Buhari, a member of the Presidential Investigative Committee on Arms Procurement made the headlines as he was arrested by the Department of State Service (DSS) over fraudulent arms procurement. In most humiliating context, Buhar’s regime were scorned when $1.5 million cash, about 18 luxury cars including Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Buggatti and many others were recovered after a search of Muhammed’s residence.
Femi Adesina’s team defending Buhari and the regime disgracefully ran out of steam with more outrageous headiness revealing the regime’s process deception and communication hoax. Shortly before President Buhari left the country early June for medical emergency, Adesina assigned to shield information from the public had swayed the national media with assurance that the President was in good health. A few hours later, the news of Buhari’s worsening health broke out, leaving the regime all embarrassed and confused about their own secrets. To cover-up his deceit, Adesina quickly issued a release that President Buhari will leave for London Monday for a ten-day break, to attend to his health issues.
International Guardian reliably gathered that other opposition factions in the APC might also be instrumental to exposing the regime in a rather selective approach to managing the nation’s resources. . According to a source, “Buhari cannot bit the finger that fed him. Tinubu is still in control, and our people would find out sooner or later.”
Issues between Buhari and Tinubu started earlier in the 2014 Presidential Campaign, when the APC leaders secretly negotiated several tradeoffs concerning the post-election sharing of “political profits.” Tinubu purportedly negotiated with Buhari (then APC Presidential candidate) for allocation of oil wells in the Niger Delta and consideration of his picks in some ministerial positions. This was to compensate for Tinubu’s support and huge financial commitment to the party as well as Buhari’s candidacy.
Since the regime’s inauguration however, Tinubu’s camp has been angered by Buhari’s failure to live up the arrangements. Tinubu’s last major frustration about Buhari’s regime was expressed in his ten-paragraph statement, titled: “kachikwu needs to know that respect and good performance will do what magic cannot.” Emmanuel Kachikwu is the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources and Group Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation. In part, Tinubu wrote, “With that I do reserve the right and the duty as a Nigerian to voice my opinion when I believe a member of this government has strayed from the progressive calling required of this administration.”
A snub of this letter by the administration, further angered Tinubu’s camp who are now leading the media war. “I don’t speak for Tinubu, but I can authoritatively tell you that Buhari is finished,” said an Abuja-based blogger who opted for anonymity.
http://www.guardiannewsusa.com/apc-crisis-latest-tinubu-unleashed-bloggers-buhari/ This shows how selfish our politicians are. If Tinubu is truly behind all these as speculated then i know we are in for a long thing in this country. He will move to form another wicked alliance that if they succeed will take us further backward than how we have gone now. God help and deliver Nigeria from the hands of cruel and wicked men |

The reports are here, so many volumes that, for example, it would take me like seven days to go through and I wonder what happens to my work while I am reading it". Then what work exactly is he paid to do. Leaders who only care for what suits their own selfish interest at the detriment of the whole populace. If APC and the Buhari administration is very sure of their sincerity about the good of this country they should put up the implementation of the National Confab to a referendum under e-voting system showing real time vote. |
