Yes, your spouse can be a co-sponsor. Get a letter from him stating this fact, and you will need his bank statement to support the visa applications.

The question is, how much money do you have for your stay in Canada?
There is no set amount, but you need to show that you can afford to buy the plane tickets, accommodation, food, and other travel expenses during your stay in Canada. Since your host is providing accommodation and feeding, get a letter from your host stating this fact.

I think it is better to show evidence of funds that will cover the total cost of the trip, including the plane tickets, not just the $3500 shopping money alone.

Thank you so much for the explanation.

Good day everyone, this is how my IW appointment date schedule went. When I was filling my profile I did not know I was meant to dissociate dependents but went ahead on the page till a page that said due to your responses to the previous IW question you should go back to step 2 to schedule a physical Interview “ which I obviously did not. I simply logged out from the profile . The following day I called the cgi customer care and instructed me to log back into the profile afresh, on getting to where the dependents are, I should dissociate them by clicking on the “x” icon. I did as instructed and completed the IW scheduling and by the following morning, I got an email to go ahead to book a date for drop off ( January and February were available as at then.
For my dependents, I sent their individual email addresses with their biodata page to the customer service and immediately a default password was sent which enabled to apply for the IW appointment date and immediately again, the approval email were sent and the dates were scheduled.

I feel this might help someone. Thanks

Primary Occupation - BUSINESS

You will also have the option to fill in your previous work history so you can still put in the same information as previously when you get to this section. [/quote]

Hello All,
I 've been a silent reader of this forum and I 've learnt a lot. In the Spirit of giving back, I would like to share my Houston POE success event.

I left MMA on the 2nd via United airline @34+ wks. My fit to fly was requested for which I gave them. I checked in successfully without any issue. On the airplane I had enough leg room and used the bathroom few times and that helped me to exercise my legs.

We landed safely at Houston around 5:00+am headed to the queue, we were directed to a short queue with only whites. When it's was our turn, the cpb just asked me why I want to have my third child in the US while the first two were born in Nigeria and I simply told her good health care and she stamped us in (hubby, and two kids) 6 months and we headed to custom cos we declared money and food, at agriculture only my indomie onion chicken were trashed and we left.

Had my first appointment today and it went well.
Thanks to all that gave the vital information on this forum, God bless.

justwise:

It will be almost impossible, the recent issue of a Nigerian woman who came to the UK with visiting visa and end up delivery 5kids did not help matters. I don't think the airlines will allow you, even as u don't intend to have your baby in the UK, it will be hard to convince them.

Pls. how do i go about obtaining uk visa for my new baby too cos i would  want to travel with my baby after delivery so has to make use of my visa before it expires.

Thanks.  N.B I have a 2yrs old daughter with valid Uk visa as well.

Hello House,

I really want to say a big well done to every one for the good job done especially inrespect to adequate information as per U.K visas.

Pls. i would like to know if a pregnant woman say like 7months gone with valid U.K visit visa can be grated entry into the U.K (just for 2weeks) with no intentions of delivering there; only for holiday/shopping purpose. Intentions genuine.

Thanks.

Family / Re: Can Mothers Have It All? by Obatity: 11:49am On Aug 20, 2010
@ damiso,

Thanks for bringing up this topic and thanks to chaircover, coal-coal and others for your encouraging contributions.

I actually need this because being a mother and working with a home to look after is not a child's play at all. Ever since i had my daughter 10months+ now my life has changed.
Sometimes i just ask my self can't i just do what i would love to do? but the circumstances around boldly says NO WAY. Like now i wish i culd braid my hair but where in the world is the time 6-7hrs! (That would fetch me the long awaiting list of things to do).
Work is crying for your attention, U have a baby/children to care for, your home is yearning for you as well and all other social stuffs. The earliest time i sleep is 10pm that if i finish all i had to do on time and God bless my God sent husband who has always been so helpful with the baby and the house chores out of his busy schedule.
Sometimes after finishing my stuffs and finally want to settle to sleep thats when my daughter would suddenly wake up wanting to play (Clapping hands) and crawl the whole house. I would have to start strategizing to get her back to sleep infact i had composed songs by force in other to parcify her to sleep and this could take another 30 to 45mins.

This morning i woke up early as usuall to prepare for work and get my daughter ready for the daycare, before i knew it the time had gone. I had to quickly get my bag, and my daughters diaper bag and headed out, as i stepped out the rain started u can imagine, heavy rain just like that without any sign. As i sat inside the car to pull out then my skirt zip worn out and the baby too was crying. ( My husband travelled i missed him oh) I didnt just know what to do i was just "Not this time" i felt like cancelling work for dat day becos as at that time i was far beyond time, yet the rain was pouring heavily. i quickly summoned courage to go back to the house climbed the stairs and changed again. i didnt bother left my daugther in the car with the a/c on becos that was what i could do at that time, as i came back inside the rain ,my colleage called that the staff bus  was about to leave i knew had missed the bus. Gussssh! i managed to find my way to the daycare dropped my daughter at the daycare and had to drive down to the office. Which on a normal day i would just join the staff bus.
Getting to the office as usual task for the day already waitin for me on my desk!

Just like someone mentioned someone's life can never be the same again.

But recently have learnt to depend on God for wisdom and guidiance and also take things easy oh. God help us. cheesy

Religion / Re: How Come Other Pastor In Christ Embassy Dont Work Mirracles Except Chris ? by Obatity: 2:45pm On Jul 09, 2010
@ Enigma

Wheather you feel the healings performed by God through Pastor Chris is real or not, that still does not stop the work of God because they are very very REAL. Every day people are getting saved, healed, restored through his ministry. I am a living testimony.
But my advice for you is that dont use such unholy words againt the man of God or (any man of God) its too dangerous, remember his an anointed man of God. U are not in position to judge him. Were you there when God called him?.  The church members of Christ embassy you insulted are part of the body of Christ. Are you aware? ( The church is the body of Christ).

So many people listen to rumors about Pastor chris and other men of God and base their conclusions on that which is wrong. Come into the church and see things for your self. You will discover they are all lies. Pastor chris teaches the word, he will make you understand the word of God so that you can apply it in every area of your life and when you hear the word faith authomatically comes in, then the miracle, healing and above all your MIND WILL BE RENEWED.

A word is enough for the wise. wink
Family / Re: The Day You Had The So Much Desired Miracle. by Obatity: 4:25pm On Jul 08, 2010
I think i should start with mine first.

I got married as every young lady would desire and evry thing went well and of course the norm is that by the first few months the wife's tommy should be protuding, but it was not so with me. Infact my monthly period stopped and i was just wondering what the problem was, and each month kept passing by. cry
I met the doctor as usuall to diagnose, which he did and gave me drugs to induce my period  and all blah blah. It was not funny, but the situation was still persistent, no period, no pregnancy i did all sort of test but still nothin, nothin. i kept praying and still continued with the drugs but i was tired of those drugs. Eventually i went for one test instructed by my doctor which said tube blocked blah blah blah, inshort when i got home i was fed up, i refused to use any drugs for that period. Tired of the drugs, doctors, report. I just decided to have a break and put my mind at rest Uhhh!
One afternoon i was so sick, embarassed i could hardly eat or walk, when my husband came  and saw me , he insisted i go to hospital suspecting i got malaria, but he wanted me to run a malaria test before adminitering any drugs. I agreed so i decided to run a malaria test, but when the lab man came for my sample something just told me to tell him to do a PT test as well  why i asked him I dont know. I waited patiently for the result expecting malaria syptoms on the report , when the report came i checked,  no malara parasite seen, i was about leaving when the lab man asked me to wait for the result of the other test (PT). In me i said is it neccesary i already know nothing nothig as usuall, finally the result came i took the paper and checked for checking sake there and there i saw the bold blue stamp "POSITIVE" infront of Pregnancy test, Ahhh i ran out of where i was, came inside again to be sure i was not in a dream, Its for real, immeadiately i saw the doctor on duty who requested i do a scan to be very sure and live when the inducer was placed on my abodomen , LIVE my baby was revealed with her heart beat! I was amazed my eyes were full of tears of joy, and the sonographer looked at me, immediatly he understood and congratulated me. My husband was filled with tears of joy too knowing that this is a miracle and God has caused us to laugh finally!  grin

Hello Doc. Kathy, well done for all the good works. May God continue to grant you more wisdom. Please doctor, after i delivered my first baby about nine months ago, though during the birth process, i had tears and also episotomy which was properly taken care of after my delivery but for some time now when i and my husband meet, He finds it quiet difficult to penetrate into me. I dont know if its as a result of the tear and episotomy? Doctor what do you think i can do. Thank you.
Family / Re: Should A Married Lady Ask Her Very Rich Ex-boy Friend For Finaicial Assistance? by Obatity: 4:10pm On Jul 06, 2010
My prayer is that no one will face a challenge that would warrant such act. hence, in my own opinion i think  its depends on the person of this "ex/bf". If he has intergrity, his kind hearted and willing to help not because of what he wants to get in return but because he sees a need which he feels God has enabled him to meet. I think he can be of help. But if its the other way round i strongly disagree. I noticed that some nairalanders mentioned, the woman getting help from else where, but in a situation where the "else where" fails e.g family members not rich, friends dissapointing, banks not ready to loan?? e.t.c and left with the only option of this ex  and probably its a pressing situation such as a life needs to be saved ( Health issues)? Above all just as i mentioned may God sufficiency be made availabe to us always.
