We took the baby home yesterday. My other children were happy to see their new sister .

We are expecting my mother to come today to help care for the new baby.

I kept on praying outside for my wife’s safe delivery.
Men are not allowed to enter the hospital.

After an hour, a midwife came to tell me my wife just delivered a beautiful baby girl!

I danced and everyone congratulated me. The women began singing songs to welcome my child and I gave them some money.

I’m a proud father of 3 boys and 2 girls.

My wife went into labor yesterday morning at around 10a.m. She didn’t make noise, she just left the children with her younger sister and took her hospital bag to our local birth center.

She asked a Nurse to call me and I took excuse from work and rushed down there.

She harvested some foodstuffs from her small farm. She sold off some and used the money to buy things for our household.

She fed i and our 4 kids today. She did not keep 1 Kobo for herself.

She is heavily pregnant with our 5th child and breastfeeding our last born.

They stripped her stark naked and beat her mercilessly. I couldn’t watch. It was very scary, she still had blood running down her legs from giving birth.

The woman confessed she is a witch and they sent her out of the village with her unclothedness and non of her belongings.

We got married with the little money I had but unfortunately she had a miscarriage.

It was the best decision ever. We have 4 lovely kids, 5 before the year runs outs, amen.

I had the opportunity to spend the weekend in a rich man’s house and it was a terrible experience for me.

I was given a small room in the boys quarters and was shocked to find out I will have to spend the night with 3 other grown men. The only bed available in the room was a student’s mattress. I had to sleep on the veranda.

The food they served me was very small. I found out they only cooked 2 times a day, breakfast and dinner.

Just dissolve Guinea corn flour in cold water then boil till it gets thick.

No need for milk or sugar. Very sweet

I saw it by chance hanging in a shop as I was coming back from work.

She later agreed to sell for ₦400. She told me I negotiate like a woman.

I went home and my wife washed it. It looks like I bought it from a big boutique. I am happy as it was a perfect fit for my beautiful daughter and it will keep her warm in this cold weather . We did a photo shoot.

I bought 200 naira suya last night to chew.

My wife seized it from me and turned it into a meal.

She asked if the food was delicious, I told her she is more delicious than the food.

I mean fishes I caught with my own hands. Thanks for your interest in my topic.

We took the fresh fishes to my friend’s mothers house where she helped us smoke it.

I only paid a small amount of money for the firewood she used.

She entertained us with roasted potatoes and some smoked fish. Very nice woman.

It took a long time for the fish to get properly dried. I got home around 8pm. My wife was so happy. She quickly took 2 smoked fishes to drink with garri.

This will last me and my family for at least a month. It will save cost on buying meat and fish in the market.

We pulled off our clothes and put on work shorts. We had to place our clothes and phones in a safe corner away from thieves.

We spent about 6-7 hours in the water catching fish with net. It wasn’t easy at all. It takes a lot of skills and patience.

Yesterday morning at around 7a.m my friend and I set out to the River to fish.

We got there around 7:30 as the river is not so far from my home. Some young boys were fishing and bathing. While others were chilling at the bank.

Don’t mind my outfit, I always do my best to look good wherever I go

I live in my own personal house with my family. The only thing I spend on is minor repairs and here and there.

I believe you shouldn’t use more than 2 months salary to pay rent.

Invest in a land as cheap as possible even if it is in a rural area. You can lease it to someone to farm on if you are not financially buoyant to start building.

You also don’t have to wait till you have millions to build, start a little project such as a 2 bedroom, you will never regret it

I like the idea of teaching young children how to fish from an early age but Obavoh please rest with all these wonderful threads you create and find another way to meaningfully engage those children.

I am not from Benue state. I do not live in Benue. Where I live with my family is safe and sound.

My wife’s elder sister’s kids came to spend the holiday at my house.

The 2 boys are 9 and 7 years old. All they do all day is eat, play and watch tv.

I hate idleness so I suggested to my wife that we should send them to hawk fruits. We have a lot of fruit trees in my compound which are wasting away on the trees.

My wife refused and said they are too small. I told her I began hawking for my mum when I clocked 6 years and I expect my children to do the same. This caused a big quarrel between us.

My village is safe, the boys even go as far as the next village to play ball so I don’t know what is bad if they use their playing time to trade.

Hawking made me the smart, hardworking and responsible man I am today. All my life I have never begged or borrowed. I believe as long as one is not disabled or sick, you can easily make money. I want to teach my children this but my wife thinks differently.

There was plenty food and drinks for the guest. We danced till midnight.
My wife and I packed food home.

The wedding was sponsored by my elder bro and his senior wives.

I asked him how he is able to manage more than one wife and he told me he usually sets up businesses for his wives and each wife is responsible for feeding and clothing herself and the children and also paying school fees.

He deals on timber. He said he promised to settle each wife with a house once he passes on.

My Elder step bro took a 3rd wife on beautiful salah day.

God has blessed him with 7 kids from his 1st and 2nd wife.

I am sure many men won’t let her eat after I die

My biggest fear is another man abusing my kids after I die.

My mother married another man after my dad died and me and my siblings saw hell. The man used to beat us up like animals, including my mother.

My mother left the marriage only after he blinded one of my elder brother’s eye.

I can’t imagine my kids suffering the same thing. I begged my wife to remain a single widow after but I don’t trust her.

Out of my 4 children, it is only the first born I buy clothes for and he passes it down to his younger ones once he outgrows them.

It saves me a lot of money s children clothes are expensive.

I bought few girl clothes for my only daughter but most times she wears her brothers clothes.
