Nembe is powered by generators provided by Shell which is supposed to be fuelled every week but the fuelling contract has been converted into a money making avenue for those it was awarded to. Result of which is that 95%of the time people there have to rely on their generators for power. Same can be said for so many other areas like Brass and Akassa which would still have been in darkness had it not been for the intervention of the oil companies. So the question my brother is what development project is the government really undertaking? What do you have to say about the quality of the pot hole filled roads in Nembe and how narrow so many of them are? Have you taken a trip to the jetty there lately? What is your governor doing to enhance the quality and safety of boats people use there? Is it too much to ask for the government to provide a few proper speed boats or ferries to enhance movement of people and goods in comfort and safety at subsidized rates compared to the canoes with outboard machines that people are forced to board at exhorbitant rates every day? If Seriake Dickson committed 1 billion naira to each of the 8 local governments honestly would Bayelsa not have turned to little London by now? How is he even helping to enhance the fishing business in the state which is even the mainstay of local business there? Again I still bring your attention to the Yenagoa to Nembe road... Is it too much for the government to build a proper 4 lane road or even to keep the existing road in good condition Or am I lying about that too?

At least you have admitted that compared to the allocations to the state, the governments both past and present have failed massively

Big lie!!!!!

Bayelsa has just 8 local governments! 8!!!! Yet the Bayelsa people are some of the poorest in Africa not just Nigeria. Just take a trip from Yenagoa to Nembe to see a particular case in point! The road from Yenagoa to Nembe cuts through 3 local governments including GEJ's lg and the famous Oloibiri yet the road is in a fantastic state of disrepair!!! Most of the state is riverine yet the government is not investing in boats either for transportation or for fishing which is the mainstay of the people here talk less of cold rooms!!! With the oil wealth of the state, this foolish governor cannot bring the existing roads up to standard talk less of connecting the vast number of riverine communities by road!!! Do you know that even till now there is not a single road to Brass or Akassa the constituency of the famous common sense senator Been Murray Bruce?

This is why there is so much restiveness in the Niger Delta as there is so much oil money being stolen by the leaders to the detriment of the people. You only see the politicians visiting their constituents when it is election period when they come to share peanuts to the poor people and settle their chiefs to secure their votes! Timipre stole so much that he cannot even stay in the house he built in his village Okpoama for shame. Instead you see him gallivanting in Abuja.

Seriake Dickson is no better... How can a governor be celebrating building flats for civil servants when the majority of his people are jobless and living in squalor? Or covering the pages of newspapers celebrating an ecumenical center when there are entire local governments within Bayelsa state without power supply (electricity infrastructure) in 2018!!!! Should he not be covering his head in shame

For someone starting drop light or pencil light is good on a tight budget because the cars are rugged and maintenance is much cheaper than Honda variants. However if your desire is prestige and elegance 750-800 can get you a very clean used EOD. Of course you may be lucky and still get for like 650 or 600 but it may require some work

Uhans is a cheaper alternative to the max 2 but the truth is that xiaomi is the better alternative. So if budget is your problem go for the uhans otherwise the xiaomi max 2 is the phone for you. In between you can get the umidigi s2 for around 76k now on jumia compared to the 56k for the uhans and the 95k for the xiaomi even though the s2 has a smaller 6.0 screen and lower screen resolution (1440 * 720). However it's the best of the three in terms of battery life
