You'd be suprised the sane Yoruba wished your Eze 'indigo' was beheaded. Everyone is tired of y'all, no more moderate Yoruba, maybe quiet ones but no one is tolerant of you lots any longer.

he is eze of a group of people under my (deji) territory. They are from a different cultural background and their culture demands that an eze should wear crown.
He(eze) has never questioned my authority as d deji,he has never disputed my orders. he is just a representative of his people under my territory.
The eze respected d deji's crown and d deji should reciprocate that.
there are pictures of eze Ndiigbo in other States visiting monarchs with crown.

Every story has two sides to it and as I am not privy to what transpired in Akure or Lagos, I reserve on them.

As for fulani way, I hope you know they are also being killed by farmers in Plateau and Benue? Violence begets more violence; everybody is a loser! There are better ways to resolve dispute than violence, which is ensuring equality of all Nigerians before the law.

Bros, am not here to play ethnic politics, am here to address our igbo culture that has been so manipulated by few to their own gains, igbo for once don't use Eze outside their area, we only use pan igbo organisations, where is Eze igbo in other people's land came from is what I don't know but I can beat my chest that it was not there before but this madness started late 90s till date. The Yoruba or Hausa/fulani leaders outside their land are not address as Oba or Emir neither do they wear royal attire to see their host king with crown inclusive, the leaders of this other ethnic group in their host community are not crown but selected by their people to represent them.

The problem is that many Igbos in Lagos, Abuja, Ogun, Ondo, Jos, Bauchi, Etc do not see the need now to look towards home. It's almost certain that HISTORY will repeat itself.

I schooled outside Igbo land, Lagos precisely. And I can almost feel it...... History will repeat itself. There will be stories of abandoned properties, there will gnashing of the teeth and regret.
