This house is about the last house on Emanuel high street and like the poster wrote, the house is still under construction. one side of it is for sale and the other to let. For those that are interested, just take a trip to Ogudu and stop at emmanuel bus and drive down to emmanual high street. Or pick a bike from Ojota bus stop to the end of emmanuel high street. There is a phone number there hanging on the wall. BTW: I am not marketing for the the poster. |
invaraibly what you are saying is bring money make I buy land then build house for you. No offence but this is no different from what obtains elsewhere. I can as well build it myself with 15mil (to my own taste) |
eku bear and the rest of anti-GEJ Has it occured to anyone that this may be just what the campaign adviser suggested to them so that she will be able to capture the grassroot for the husband. Forget what she speaks. I can bet u she was not the one that wrote that speech. Politics is a game and the end result is about winning. Note that if this had been a trait that her assistant would have been fired or is the entire GEJ crew dumb ? They have tried it and it is working just fine. |
Thanks George, will wait until i move to my own abode hopefully soonest by GOD's grace then I can choose any side and any sat. thanks again. BTW still waiting for solar pics u promised on the other thread. |
@George, Thanks a lot for the reply. I am in Lagos. What odds are there to get it with 2.4m. using badr 4 on the east side. |
@George D, Arsenal and others, I have a 2.4m solid pan which unfortunately I was unable to use in tracking Nilesat from the west. Based on what I have read so far is it possible now to trach the MBCs on the East side using BADR. if this is possible pls. let me know as I had left the dish hanging there facing heaven @ 0" for over a year now. Please note West satelites are out of the question. Thanks. |
@Babamoha, Yes, it is with wood setting and like I stated earlier state the options for both Slate and Aluminium. Please I need done as soon as possible. |
Building is located inside Ikorodu off Isawo Road. Please drop your quote for all capentery works and for both asbestos and Aluminium 0.45 guage. lenght and width is about 30ft by 30ft Pics are attached.

@ poster where is your house located ? |
Experts and all please asisst. How long is it safe to leave the planks on the roof of a house (new house) exposed before the sheets are placed (days, weeks, months). Planks have been bought but some other challenge has come up for which the money for the sheets are to be committed. |
And Poster, This is my second project in this area and its no joke when you are building especially if you are on an average paid employment but I will advise u start now with what u have and I assure u that u will be amazed how quickly u will realise the project (all things being equal). |
@poster, Building in the village is good but should done at your own pace. As for 1.3m doing the job, I do not think its possible. I am currently doing a 3 bedroom in Ikorodu which I started in April and by MAY I had already spent close to have a mil. The foundation is on dry level ground and I decided after the foundation to develop only the KITCHEN, SITTING ROOM, DINING AND VISITOR'S TOILET (all of which are at the front) to a complete finish including roofing b4 proceeding with the rest as man no know wetin go happen tomorrow. So far to complete the front alone with borehole, tiles and sceptic will cost another 1.3m based on rough estimates. So for a standard appreciable 3 bedroom, 1.3m can go a long way but cannot finish the project. PS: Direct labour was used in my case and I sourced the materials myself. So goodluck. |
@Twinskenny, O'boy how u dey? I have been around but very busy with some personal projects. The BADR of a satelite what's on it and how far is it from ASTRA2B. thanks. |
@Day11, I can up my budget to 340K for 2 yrs (All inclusive). Pls. reply soon. |
Day11, How u dey, pls I need a mini flat around ogba, ikeja or ogudu and environ. My total buget for 2 years is N280,000.00 (legal and agency fee inclusive) Pls reply ASAP. 07025784036 (Segun) |
Please the experts or those with experience should pls respond I have 3 bedroom ensuite. The sitting room and kitchen has been cemented. How many bags of cement and how tips of bedford tipper (sharp sand) will be enough be need. Note laterite has already been used to fill it. I have been on this project for about 4 years and I am determined to complete the screeding, windows, doors and others this year. I just realised that these local guys I am using have been ripping me off big time. By the way the project is in Ikorodu. |
@pofolo and all, This frequency for Infinity TV is not working. When is the right time to scan for it because I use daarbox and after inputting the freq. and scanning, nothing came out. |
@All, Been following the thread but not posting. @Sun-sat, Don't mind TOX, he is just picking your brain to see the type of reaction u will bring to the table. All those pple he mentioned are there to make the whole thread bubble. On a serious note, Even though this is FTA, it pays to know what is going one with this PAYTV guys. That was how etv was yanked off on the excuse that it was a pirated broadcast after 4 years. @TOX, Pls. always let us know when such things happen so that we will be kept in the loop of events. I hope climate change (ACIDE RAIN) neva reach your end for obodo oyibo. cheers. |
Thanks arsenal1 ] |
George, Please respond. what could be reponsible for 53x rejecting the global beam frequency for w2a |
@ George and all, What am I doing wrong. I tried to manually input this freq 3865r, 13333sr into my 53x but it kept showing invalid frequency. George is there something else I need to do before this frequncy can be accepted or will it be OK to do dat in my daarbox b4 following the instructions u gave on how to get the MPEG 4 signals. Also my C band LNB, I inserted the Di-electric in Horizontally into the throat. Thought it did not not touch the pins in the LNB with white plastic covering. Hope this does not prevent it from working because when inserted in potrait form the D-electric does not touch both edge of the throat. Also, is the masking tape really needed as I don't what it is going to be used for.
|
Thanks George, I just wanted to be very sure so as not to waste my time during tracking. And on the Di-electric for the c-band LNB, how do I place it in the throat or should I just throw it inside. This is my first time of dealing with a C-band LNB. Thanks again. |
@ George and All, I have just bought a Strong C-band LNB with Di-electric at Oshodi for N1500.00. Like stated b4 the Di-electric thing is just a piece of fibre glass. Should I just throw it into the LNB throat or is there a special way of placing it ? Pls reply ASAP. |
Thanks Micro. Didn't notice that part of George's answer. |
@Microgiant and All, Goodmorning, I want to ask again because I think George missed that part of my question. Can 4653x be used to track w2a Thanks. |
Dejsam and All, Pls. what is the approx price of a C-band LNB with di-electric ? |
@ Microgiant and All, Does anyone knoe the price for C-Band LNB with Di-Electric ? Please respond ASAP |
@George, Can srt 4653x be used to track w2a signal and if yes what is the approx price of a C band LNB with D - electric. I don't find it that easy tracking with daar box. Thanks. |
It is now confirmed. I can't track Nilesat from the present location of the dish. A great member of this forum (Jayron) was at my place as early as 6am this morning and on sighting the dish, knew that Nilesat was not possible from the present location, However, he said W2A is very possible from that location. Thanks everyone for your concern. I hope to relocate the dish soon but I have some convincing to do and some things to trade for the space needed. @Jayron, Thanks a great deal for your brotherly love. |
