The narration


Today would go down as a day to remember in Ozubulu, Anambra state as the day Some gun men gruesomely massacred innocent souls at St. Philips Catholic church, Ozubulu. during a sunday mass .

However, many stories had erupted, some assumptive stories whilst some were more closely related to the real story.

An eye witness who informed our agent in Anambra state said the step mother of the alleged “Bishop” who singlehandedly built the church narrated the whole fatal ordeal while she was receiving treatment at the University teaching hospital in Nnewi.

Here is the narrative :

“Some Gun men came to our house around 6:15 am . The fiercely looking men demanded for my Step-son,”Bishop”.. with the fear of what they could do to Myself or my son, i stuttered as i told them he had gone to 6am mass . Meanwhile , Bishop had left town yesterday abruptly without telling anyone of his way about. My husband attended same 6am mass . They dragged me to the Church hoping to see Bishop and his father, my husband.

As the mass was on-going , they dragged me into the church , noticing that Bishop wasn’t in the church , they demanded where my husband was seated and i pointed at the section he normally sits. In anger, they shot at me first before sporadically shooting at everyone at the section in a bid to kill Bishop’s father. Unfortunately, he died in the shootout .

That was all she could say as the doctors were still battling to save her life…..

More than 50 medical personnels were seen attending to the patients.

May God bless the dead and grant quick recovery to the wounded persons.

Meanwhile it was gathered that it was as a result of a fallout between Bishop and his brothers at South Africa and it got messy at his home town Ozubulu.
