Immortal confessed that he was so embarrassed about his former Christian posts that he had to create a new monicker Nairaland atheists triggered my quest for truth, and I'm so glad being able to see things clearly the way it is at a young age I never knew at a stage I will doubt the existence of God, even at my earlier times of searching, I was eventually a victim of some certain circumstances, but 2day I found out it was programmed only in the mind. |

EternalBeing: My personal experience, juju/voodoo exists but YAHSHUA CHRIST JESUS has totality of Authority and eternal Supremacy over them all. It is a way of getting demons to help human achieve something. The demons in return get adamant to harvest such human Soul into eternal Hell Fire. My friends and I went into yahoo-yahoo some years ago. For over 8 months we didn't make a kobo till they went to herbalist. One day my roommate brought a black cat into our room 1:30AM in the night, he was swerving it and chanting heavy incantations. That very week he collected money. I packed out of the room and relocated. I took only garri for several months while they bought cars, clubbing, flexing, etc. I prayed that GOD should give me a legitimate Job and soon HE did, but I said if devil could give them Cars and big Money, I want a big Car and my own House from YAHWEH GOD that owns Heaven and Earth. It didn't happen for almost a year, till someone invited me to MFM Church for 3 days dry fasting and deliverance; the Prayer Point was "Any Power stagnating my Destiny, scatter by Thunder and be roasted to ashes". I got home on the 3rd day trying to break my fasting when a call entered my phone. Someone that I've not heard from for over 9 years since my Dad died called me. My step mum was literally confessing on phone that she has removed hand o! That she's no more stagnating my Life, etc... I was so stunned that I couldn't offer a word till she cut the call. Ever since then, things has been very easy to YAHWEH's Glory. I bought my Car, built my House, etc. So, u either join them to appease them by losing your Soul to Hell or battle them by the AUTHORITY that's above every other Authorities and get your Glory back and still live forever. Chaiii!!!! |

Christianity Etc › Re: The Power Of Choice by obinna58(m): 12:12am On Apr 26, 2017 |
MZLady39: Yes....brother. Giving us "freewill" although He already knows the choices we will make. God is not a tyrannical ruler that makes people serve Him through force. The option of choice has been and will always be present. I think your illustration about the parent/child comparison to God as our parent may be a little faulty. Telling Adam & Eve not to eat from 1 tree out of many trees...and a parent giving a child a knife may be a little different. Allowing a person to make a choice (regardless of the choice he/she makes) is love. Of course in a parent/child scenario...the parent has certain obligations to protect the child. Sometimes one can shield....other times it isn't in the best interests of the person to shield him/her. The beautiful thing about the fall of man (through the couple's choice) is that a way was made so that perfection/eternal salvation could be restored in a "in case of scenario". God didn't refuse to take responsibility. In fact, He sacrificed His son for us....when He could've just allowed death & eternal separation. I'm not talking about Adam and eve, the knife is referred as "freewill" it could be used for good and bad, he gave us the freewill knowing we mostly gonna use it for bad purposes. How can he be merciful when he gave us access to the hell he created, all religionists believes they sin everyday cos of that same freewill. So where z the perfection? Sorry to say, most of ur comments av seen sounds less religious to me. |

Stewie101: I hate to break it to you but I don't believe in your God. He simply doesn't exist and there are a lot of rational arguments that substantiate my claim. I can present them to you but your inordinate level of credulity, and invulnerability to evidence and rational arguments is going to be a massive stumbling block to persuasion, so I am not even going to bother.
An extremely naive, fatuous and uncompelling response like yours is why I was specific on the crop of people I wanted to have this debate with. This made me wonder why u created this thread at first Are a deist? |

Stewie101: Why is murder wrong? Lol Why isn't murder wrong? Anyway Don't u think that atheists should be more afraid of murder, we have law that governs everybody, since atheist believes in no afterlife meaning their current life is all they get, so are they going to ruin their small lifetime in prison? They might even be killed, so u think they still gonna bet it huh Maybe u should direct this question to ur God who drown millions of innocent people cos few bad people, gave a man strength to kill thousands. Or maybe out of hypocrisy u went ahead to ask useless questions, don't u read ur bible Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 1 Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses. 2 He sets the time for birth and the time for death, the time for planting and the time for pulling up, 3 the time for killing and the time for healing, the time for tearing down and the time for building. 4 He sets the time for sorrow and the time for joy, the time for mourning and the time for dancing, 5 the time for making love and the time for not making love, the time for kissing and the time for not kissing. 6 He sets the time for finding and the time for losing, the time for saving and the time for throwing away, 7 the time for tearing and the time for mending, the time for silence and the time for talk. 8 He sets the time for love and the time for hate, the time for war and the time for peace. 9 What do we gain from all our work? 10 I know the heavy burdens that God has laid on us. 11 He has set the right time for everything. He has given us a desire to know the future, but never gives us the satisfaction of fully understanding what he does. 12 So I realized that all we can do is be happy and do the best we can while we are still alive. 13 All of us should eat and drink and enjoy what we have worked for. It is God's gift. 14 I know that everything God does will last forever. You can't add anything to it or take anything away from it. And one thing God does is to make us stand in awe of him. 15 Whatever happens or can happen has already happened before. God makes the same thing happen again and again. u don't even trust your God or maybe u still yet to know about ur God Hypocrite. |

MZLady39: Beautifully, beautifully written brother... God has NEVER nor will EVER take away someone's choice/free-will. What God would I be serving who would do that? Giving us freewill even when he already knows that we gonna use it for a wrong purposes. Imagine a parent giving his/her child a sharp knife knowing fully well the kid z gonna injure his/herself badly, and then takes no responsibility for the outcome because the kid choosed it that way. They are merciful to the kid ryt? |

Their is nothing like karma What we experience is coincidence, it does not happen everytime Just like an armed robber or cultist who kills with gun, their is high tendency that they may be more likely to be killed by gun depending on their level of operation, sometimes most of their deadly killers goes free while newly ones may die at there first attempt. |
