Why do many of you make such insane comments! This isn't the first time fighter jets have been used to attack bandits. There has been at least 2 other occasions.

1.The Sahara is expanding. That means that lots of farmland in the North could be lost. That means large numbers of refugees running down South. At the end, issues . Let's not forget that Lake Chad drying up, and the impact it could have on things like Boko and banditry.

2.See the Fulani herdsmen crisis? A big part is climate change. Once upon a time, the grassland extended further north than it is now. Now, the Sahara is taking over. That means that herdsmen stay longer in the south. More crisis (Note, I am not here to justify herdsmen. In my opinion, they should have long since set up modern ranches up North).

3.The rising of the atlantic ocean threatens a lot of coastal communites. Lagos has already had some issues as far back as the 1990's self.It is projected to get worse.
