I was told it's of two type during my time too but the difference wasn't up to 10,000. The matron in Gbaja said there's no difference that it's just the brand. I bought mine 28000 naira.

I'd also be needing this. My hospital pharmacy had just one left and said its 30k, a nurse friend said they have a cheaper one at her hospital/some pharmacies around her area... Seems the expensive ones come in a complete pack, while the cheap ones contain only the injection.... Different companies produce it and their prices differ... You should have enquired from them the differences tho. Most people said they bought the one within the range of 30-35k. It depends on area too... Where is your location and how big is the pharmacy you went to?

Hahahaha....it's in big and reputable pharmarcies in Kaduna that we checked it, most people told us 20 and 23k but only one told us of variety being 23k and 33k that is where the confusion set in. but the doctor told us it between 26 and 30k.

Wifey's EDD is first week in January, she will be needing Rhogam and doctor said we should get it. we went to a pharmacy and was told there is a cheap one and an expensive one. Price difference is about 10,000 naira. pls wonderful people apart from the price is there any difference in terms of efficacy between the two? And those who took it, when was it administered to you. thank you.

Good morning amazing mamas.

Yesterday I went for my first antenatal class at the private clinic that dh and I registered ( which I didn't like their service the first time I went to see doctor).

The stories I had heard abt antenatal classes from F & F is that lectures were being given to expected mamas concerning the journey ahead and how to care for themselves and the baby , dh and many stuffs. So I felt that the class in addition to other things is a support unit, something related to what we have here but one on one.

So I went with pen and jotter for note. But to my disappointment, I was just given number and asked to go pay for routine test and have it done. Then afterwards, people were called to Dr office. Do when my turn reached, Dr asked me what the problem was, so I told him nothing except for headache. He asked me to lay on the board and after pressing my tummy with his hands, he said OK. That everything is fine and he will prescribed drugs for me. I very was disappointed .

So just pressing my tummy with hands is the deal? No using any instrument to hear or check the baby heartbeat or his developmental stages. Hmmmm. So when he said if there is no other questions he is through with me. I asked him how many weeks is the baby now. Mr doctor said that my baby is 24 weeks. I asked him whether he is sure about it. Mr doctor responded that if I believe that he is a doctor and not mechanic, then I should believe him or do a scan.

I said fine let me do a scan . the scan said that I am 17 weeks 1 day. So I asked doctor why are we having two different results. Mr doctor just said he used his measurement and scan used his measurement too.

Please, my PhD holders in this field of study come and help your first year undergraduate sister.

My question s are these;
* Do I have misconception on about antenatal classes?
• Are doctors just to press my tummy with hands alone
without any instrument even a measuring tape?
∆ Are the scanning machine supposed to show unclear
picture of the baby? More like watch NTA program
in then black and White TV when the weather is
cloudy and signal is very poor.

madam I appreciate your knowledge in the field even as you are not even a health worker but yet you know all these. just be careful with some of this clinics and doctors. Same thing happened with wifey in a general hospital where a mattron was just pressing her Tommy and baby giving her false result I immediately took her to a private gernocologist with right instruments for scan and heart beat detector to monitor things properly. may God save us from unprofessionals.

The first time she went thru these medications, HCG was administered but she didn't ovulate nor menstruate afterwards.

I have been persuading her to convince her doctor to administer HCG , she said since the doctor has said there is no need, she would stick to that.

Am expecting her to ovulate in 3 days time, so I have reduced intercourse to once a day so as to allow my tank replenish. It used to be like 3 times every day.

Don't mind me, I am a very inquisitive guy and am trying to assist my wife by asking all these questions. She is not inquisitive at all.

I still feel once a day intercourse is not enough to allow tank replenish, I do mine once in two days especially at 4am then she sleeps for 2 to 3 hrs say 7am before leaving the bed so as to allow the sperm to have travelled far in. all the best bro.

about the sperm coming out after bding with dh, do doggy style, it worked for me and wify cos we experienced the same sperm pouring out issue. Now to the glory of God wify is 2months preggy.

I bet they had over 200 questions. They kept flipping and flipping and flipping.... and questions were just flying up and down. I was still hot then. There was a white board behind me. For answers they weren't satisfied with... They asked me to show it either mathematically or diagrammatically on the board.
One question I never forget is "state Hooke's law in 5 diffrent ways. And some questions about valves and compressors. At the end, they asked if I had any question for them. They were very nice and friendly. I was very very very young then and twas my first job interview just after NYSC. I lost out.
