The superstar singer has been Cher-ing all her feelings via Twitter this election season. She wins the award for the furthest declared destination if the real estate magnate prevails.

The comedienne may or may not have been joking when she said she's bound for Spain should Hillary Clinton lose.

Two penguins are celebrating their 10th year of partnership, as a gay couple.

Dotty and Zee are two Humboldt penguins that reside at Bremerhaven Zoo in Germany. They have been together for over a decade now and are completely inseparable.

At first, the couple were left to their own devices as the zoo did not yet realise both Dotty and Zee were male penguins.

However, after a few years of dedicated partnership the pair had a DNA test. In 2005 the test revealed
their gender, as well as the answer to why they hadn’t yet started a family.

Dotty and Zee are not the only gay couple in the zoo either. Of the 10 penguin pairs at the zoo, three
are gay male couples.

A vet at Bremerhaven explained that the species were endangered, so to encourage breeding they flew in 6 females from Sweden.
He said:
“This is one of the most endangered species we have in the world we have maybe only 2000 of the species left.”
The attempt to encourage breeding was unsuccessful, but proved the dedication between the couples.
“The three gay couples stayed together showing us that they are really strong relationships,” the vet added.

Dotty and Zee have built a nest every year, a clear indication that they wanted to start a family.
2009 was their lucky year as they were gifted an egg that was rejected by its mother.

The penguins took on the shared responsibility of incubating the egg and acted like good fathers by sharing the feeding work and doing everything necessary for the baby.

For the adorable couple, it was a story of success as they beat all the odds.

A reader just sent me this mail of how he was allegedly scammed by MMM.

"AUNTY LAILA : MMM DO ME STRONG THING OH!

It started on the 19th June 2016, My Friend introduced me to this MMM of a thing... I obliged and Joined... It was paying well, there was no comma or full stop, not all.
Till I opened an account for my cousin who shared the same surname...
Fast Forward,,,
MMM ADMINISTRATOR placed my account on temporary moratorium of getting help as they provide and get help in the system on 13th September 2016 and told me to verify identity of which I did.

After that, I kept on contacting MMM Support of which they assured me they will remove their God forsaken temporary moratorium which they have used to scam thousands of participants (not only me) as i found out they do it secretly and MMM fortifies its system with this... That also account in a way how they pay 30‰ to their teeming community of 30% earners (Guiders,referrals and ordinary participants)... Only for my account to be blocked by the administrator earlier today that I used two accounts that the registration and referral bonuses have been deleted while my #90,000 I paid since when I started MMM which yielded 189,000 naira parted with the blocked account.

Even as it hurts me being my first time to be scammed...
I will like Nigerians to thread with caution with this MMM of a thing and keep on pursuing their dreams as there is dignity in Labour.

Asiata Adupe Onikoyi Laguda, Oldest Person Living With Sickle Cell Turns 91


Alhaja Asiata Adupe Onikoyi Laguda was last year celebrated as one of the oldest persons living with sickle cell in the world. She turned 91 yesterday, November 1st 2016.

And as you can see in this photo released by her granddaughter, Moyo Asekun - CEO Pérola Moda, she is still bubbling with health and proof that sickle cell disease can be conquered!

At the time Alhaja Asiata Adupe Onikoyi Laguda was born in 1925 into the Onikoyi Chieftaincy family of Lagos, there was no immunization, no new-born screening, no hydroxyurea, no inkling that
hydration with just water could go a long way in dealing with sickle cell disease.

At that time, the average life expectancy of children born with sickle cell disorder was just five years.

Due to the high level of illiteracy at the time of her birth, she was never diagnosed with sickle cell. She endured years of pain, which kept her away from school till she was 12 years old. Her pain was so severe and frequent that she would beg God to let her die.

But she defied the odds... She survived sickle cell. Happy birthday to her!

For some months now, Polo Avenue Executive Director, Jennifer Obayuwana and her fiance Peter Salah have not been spotted loved up or together in public like before. Jeni has also stopped wearing her engagement ring, and this photo below recently happened on Snapchat.

It shows Jennifer asking her sister Johanna to delete this stupid picture - Johanna's IG post where she excitedly announced to the world that Jennifer just got engaged to the love of her life. #PJ2015.

You recall that January 2015 had kicked off on a very exciting note for Jennifer Obayuwana. She had received a surprise engagement from her then beau of ten months, Peter Salah the CEO of Tilt
Group on New Year Eve.

After that engagement, the loved up couple practically everyday shared photos of themselves in each other's arms. Social media was awash with their pictures, gifts and how much Salah dotes over Jeni. Beautiful pictures of the couple.

Gist then was that their wedding was going to hold later on in 2015. The ceremony was expected to kick off with an introduction and engagement in Nigeria, and white wedding maybe staged abroad (possibly France).

You also recall Jennifer Obayuwana and Peter Salah even took their love to France, Paris where they sealed it with a love lock.

Then for her birthday, the Polo director even posted a photo of how her man woke her up to wash her legs with a bottle of champagne, launching her into a special day with the promise of better things to come.

There had been cynical parties who believed Peter's engagement to Jennifer was a calculated attempt at consolidating his wealth and not really because he was looking forward to the commitments and sanctity of marriage. There have also been alleged reports that Peter cheated on Jeni.

A lot of people were rooting for this couple though.

We are not ignorant of the‎ shameful act of an alleged beauty queen of Miss Anambra State Pageant on the obnoxious sexual video scandal that rocked the internet few days ago. This image damaging display is truly condemned by this organisation in its entirety, as registered members of ABPFEON abhor this act as it is truly against the ethics signed by registered Pageants and fashion exhibition brands and companies.

Association Of Beauty Pageant And Fashion Exhibition Organisers of Nigeria,ABPFEON is a registered organisation with CAC saddled with the responsibility to uphold in the rights of the models / contestants and also checkmate the activities of the pageant and fashion brands towards promoting the image of Nigeria for national honours and international recognitions.

ABPFEON ‎position in this situation and investigative revelations are:

1. That Miss Anambra Pageant is not a registered member of the association, and had no member or executive representative as a judge at the grand finale that recognises Miss Chidinma Okeke as a beauty queen.

2. That Chidinma Okeke is not recognised as a Beauty Queen by the association as no member of a judge from the National body that scored her on the basis of Catwalk, Carriage, Intelligence, Moral Behaviour and oral proficiency.

3. That The said disgusting video and erotic acrobatics was allegedly perpetrated before she was crowned as a beauty queen.

4. That ABPFEON which has over 80 members and 21 registered pageant and fashion brands does not have Miss Anambra Pageant, and no representative from the pageant was at the national convention held early last year In Enugu State with several others in attendance.

5. That Miss Anambra‎ pageant organisers are not known to ABPFEON executives and the Miss Chidimna has not been seen to have attended as a guest to any pageant grand finales of ABPFEON endorsed contest or fashion show.

6.That The video was said to have been in circulation before the eventual saturation on the Internet with top state personalities confirming it.

7. That ABPFEON is not passing judgement on the persons or images seen on the viral leaked video but is condemning it and calling on security agencies to investigate and bring the culprits to book as Federal Republic of Nigeria has passed a law against Lesbianism, homosexuality and gay marriage which attracts 14 years imprisonment.

8.That‎ parents, organisations, brands, sponsors and models should not lose confidence in the industry as Nigeria pageant is also rated highly with a current member beauty queen bagging First Class in United Kingdom university, Carried Peace Education Campaigns, Given Scholarships, Written Books shared for free, Opened Lucrative Businesses, Empowered the IDPS and also on record for a Nigerian beauty queen to have won Miss world for the first time in Africa.

This resolutions and investigative revelations are based on the facts that uphold the integrity of the well distinguished strength of ABPFEON, however we do advice pageant based organisations and models to desist from acts that brings reproach to the brand.

Finally, this is the stand of ABPFEON because we have the consideration of our members at heart and as we are identified with World Beauty Organisation, this is our resolution. God bless Nigeria. “Be the change you want to see“
