hardywaltz: Why do people from a particular tribe like molesting their daughters, or is it part of their culture?
The guy is not a Nigerian but only adopted the name as an African identity being an African American

As usual Igbos don't read, don't understand but just obi themselves into senseless conclusions

Firstly, BRF did not deny as the title suggests

See all the red cap chiefs lining up and smiling in a picture with BRF

I'm sure they were awed seeing a superstar grin

This picture will be laminated, enlarged and placed at the from door entrance of each of their homes in the coming days

Abagworo: I don't think so. The Federal Government should start giving every zone equal allocation or allow true fiscal federalism.
True fiscal federalism is allowing each state control its resources including VAT

This has been the position of the SW

basilo101: dats because multinationals r invading ur area n u ppl r jst spectators. SE is industrializing itself by indigeneous technology, which is more sustainable in d long run
You're industrializing yourselves and meanwhile your people are running to the SW

You're industrializing yourselves and meanwhile Ogun State, within one year is already generating more than two times in GDP than any SE state

You're industrializing yourselves and meanwhile Oyo state has a higher GDP than any SE state

You're industrializing yourselves and meanwhile Yorubas are the ones that account for development in the SW

Keep industrializing

If the data posted by Abitwo does not say anything about ownership, what is its usefulness in this thread?
I know how painful it is to realize that after all your bragging and coming to Lagos to hustle, it still doesn't add up to anything in the state. If your people are prosperous in your eyes, our GDP stats doesn't support that claim. However, crime and fraud isn't captured in the GDP which could be where your perceived wealth stems from. That's why we are encouraging you to move back to your erosion ravaged land which isn't fertile for agriculture but for criminality.

I live in a neighborhood dominated by Yorubas where you find Executive Directors of banks, telcos and oil companies mostly Yorubas but there's this Igbo guy who has no visible source of livelihood that just moved in two years ago. We have plans for him and very soon he will be explaining to the EFCC how he was able to afford a serviced flat in the neighborhood

You can say whatever you like now but deep within you, you must be really scared to your bones that if the push comes to shove, you will leave Lagos with almost nothing. Even the houses a few of the successful ones (that Yorubaland have made) will sell their homes for ten percent of its FSV

nwando: That's the news from Oyo state
Thanks to GEJ,their Almajiri kids can now go to school.
obitwo: Gibberish! You and your governors since 1999 had responsibility for developing your regions but you didn't

Ogun state's IGR is aboutN4bn monthly which is three times higher than the highest IGR of any state in the SE

The GDP of Oyo state is higher than that if any SE state

The landmass of Oyo is as much as all the land masses of all the SE states (most of which is ravaged by erosion) combined

As for Lagos, seven different sectors dominate economic activities in Lagos State, led by manufacturing which, interestingly, contributes 29.60 percent of the state’s GDP figures. Road transport follows closely contributing an average of 26.47 percent of economic activities in the state. Other sectors in order of dominance include building and construction (19.60 percent); wholesale and retail (8.39 percent); telecommunications (3.71 percent); financial institutions (3.51 percent); and real estate (2.01 percent). The seven sectors account for 93.39 percent of economic activities in the state.

Yorubas control these sectors and have contributed the most to the development of the state. I don't know what the rationale of 'without Igbos Lagos will be nothing' stems from. Economically from the GDP figures, Igbos do not contribute more than 15% of the state's GDP as the only sectors they dominate constitutes less than 9% of the GDP. You can take a walk into any blue chip company in Lagos and you won't be surprised that Yorubas dominate. What does trading contribute really? The whole of the sector doesn't even make up to a tenth of the state's GDP and its not like all traders are Igbos. Go to Oke Arin and see Yoruba women that can buy the whole of the SE, go to Alade, check out large malls etc.

nwando: The same Oyo state with the highest population of mad oeople andstreet kids begging for Almajiri schools?
Hahaha
Yes the same Oyo

Isn't it funny that mad people and almajiris are more prosperous than your sane and industrious people?

Live with the facts that Lagos wasn't and still isn't made by Igbos but Yorubas and some multinational

Deal with the heartache that even the other SW states are steadily overtaking the biggest SE states

Endure the notion that Yorubas lead in these places and have created the environment to make these things happen

eaglechild: I really feel for Yorubas.
For a hardworking and focused group of people to come to the nations former capital and develop it, taking up all the choice areas and leaving the slums for them.
It think that really sucks.
I mean the type that will make u want to reach out for a bottle of rat poison and put yourself out of misery like the custom dictates.
I guess the major disturbance is that tout-ism is fast becoming obsolete and giving way to more acceptable sources of income and they can't compete.
I really wonder why they gloat over other people's hard work in a country's capital albeit former.

I wonder why no other portion of their land is developed.
I mean why is adoekiti desolate and ibadan a pitiable scenery of dilapidated rusted brown roofs begging for civilisation.
Why is Oshougbo gripped by the tenets of a false native religion.

How come only Lagos saw the 'light'?
Could it be that a progressive group of people found it humane to develop and share their forward thinking nature.
I hope what happened to most of Africa when the Europeans left will not happen to Lagos.
I pray the buildings will not stagnate and turn rusty like the buildings their true native towns.
I hope their nothern masters will not turn every street corner into minarets like Ilorin.

Whatever happens the property of the progressives which are in the majority will not be touched.

And still yet GEJ didn't say a word about it at today's Emergency FEC meeting

Obi has proven that he is very dumb. Despite his government responding to a letter from the LASG, he still goes ahead to lie that he wasn't informed

And still yet, the question wasn't answered. You can't stand a Yoruba man wits for wits. You're dull, unintelligent, backward and archaic

Small wonder your states are the most backward with erosion ravaged lands, poverty stricken men and women, kidnappers, robbers and ritualistic

Ogun state already generates more in IGR than three of the highest IGR generating SE states out together. Oyo has a higher GDP than any SE state.

Since 1999 when our people have been charged with leadership, we have done nothing but move forward while your people still live in trees and caves

2. Igbos are not as smart as Yorubas (BRF vs Miss. Peter Obi)
3. Igbos live under bridges in Lagos (Office of Igbo Deportees)
4. Yorubas and Multinationals constitute most of Lagos's GDP (Most recent GDP breakdown)
