senatordave1:If you think that APC policy at the national can not effect their goodwill at the subnational, then you are the dumbest person ever lived . You think the voters are fools ? |
Ttipsy:. Let me educate you, if governance were to be a function of age, then Peter Mba would have been the worst governor of Enugu state. Why you say ? Ugwuanyi was born in July 1964 , assumed office on May 2015 which made him 50 years 10 months at the time, Mba on the other hand was born on march 1972, assumed office on May 2023 at the age of 51years 3 months. This did not just made Mba older than gburugburu at the time of their inauguration but also made him the oldest person to become the governor of Enugu state since 199 9 and even beyond. Note the Sullivan Chime became governor at the age of 47 while Chimaroke was just 38 when he assumed office. From the above exposure, you should know that Mbas performance has nothing to do with age and age is not a factor in performance else Alex Otti who was the oldest governor to rule Abia state would have been their worst governor |
anytexy:Patty Obasi is dead |
You need to watch that of Soludo, Soludo added humor to his own and it seems Soludo is more agile than Peter Mba despite being much older |
Originalsly:I have been hearing this conspiracy theory about Bill Gates trying albeit clandestinely to reduce the world's population. My question is why is Mr Gates averse to high population and how will lower population benefit him l |
Igbofirstfarmer:And you believe that someone that is completing abandoned projects he met on ground will embark on elephant projects ? Isn't this a demonstration that the governor hates wastefulness ? |
Igbofirstfarmer:Is it that unfinished hospital ? If yes , then it is a welcomed development. BTW Chimaroke did not abandon the hospital because of EFCC case, he left office and his successor abandoned the project. It was never a personal project but a state one. Chima started having issues with EFCC after he left office and not before. |
kenny714433:I don't think there is any but there is this hospital that made news those days, built by Akpabio. Shortly after he left office, he was involved in an accident with minor injury but instead of going for treatment in his "world class" hospital, dude japad overseas for treatment. The same scenario will still play in this so called enugu international hospital, the government officials and anyone dear to them will never near the hospital for treatment. |
7demons:There is nothing he realized, he actually did well in the last election better than Tinubu and Atiku . His greatest undoing in that election was going for an unknown vice, Datti is an unknown politician and Obi would have been better off picking a more popular politician, eg a former governor who at least will be sure of delivering his state. If not that Kwankwaso rejected the offer, both of them would have been president and vice president by now. |
ify2016:Slave mentality, jagaban can be removed and disgraced, let's see how he will rig in the north or east where he is not popular |
ejieddy:Must Atiku be on the ballot ? Why not obi and Kwankwaso |
Nawao, these people are really poor,. See new mud houses in 2024. After they will say that those buildings was erected during the time of Alexander the Great. What a backward people |
vanbonattel:Whenever I remember Funsho Williams tears run away my eyes |
Northerners have proven that they are wiser than Yorubas. The animosity between igbos and Yoruba was because of yorubas see no evil in Buhari and his government. They defended him with all their strength threatened and insulted igbos for criticizing Buhari's government. When igbos complained about Buhari's nepotism, Yorubas will be handy to defend him , telling all that cares to listen that the appointments are based on merit and that northerners are the most qualified in the country . Now they want to do the same but the north is not ready to make enemies supporting Tinubu's nepotism but they rather chosed to call him out.that is wisdom. Gradually Yorubas are being alienated politicaly |
Igwe won't be happy with this promotion, the money he will make as AIG will not be half of what he makes as CP in FCT . He will be celebrating the promotion but inwardly na cry he de cry Mr igwe will be like " which kind yeye promotion be this, these people for leave me make I chop small na " |
kestolove95:Maybe in mud houses |
Nwagukosy:She has since separated from the man, but the marriage produced two adult male. So it is her children that buried their mother in their home stead . |
Mba promised to construct 10,000 kilometers of road in 8 years during his campaign and I think this is one of the steps to acheiving that goal. I don't think he can fulfill his promise but if he can construct 5,000 kiliometers, Enugu will turn to London. Other projects by the governor include (1) construction of 260 smart schools in each ward of the state ( work is ongoing) (2) construction of 260 primary health care centers in each of the ward (work ongoing) (3) construction of a new dual carriage road from Owo to ehamufu in is uzo local government ( work is in progress) (4) building a new enugu smart city (the area has been cleared ) (5) building 4 ultra modern bus terminals in Holy Ghost, garriki, Abakpa and Nsukka ( demolition has been carried out, work going on only Holy Ghost) (6) dualization of enugu Abakalili road with a flyover at Eke junction ( work is on going) (7( dualization of Abakpa Nike OPI Nsukka road ( work has not started but obstructing structures have been marked for removal ) ( dualization of Nike lake road from penoks to T junction ( work not yet started, obstructing structures already marked for removal)(9) construction of a flyover at Abakpa junction (work not yet started) (10)Renovation of hotel presidential (work is ongoing) (11) completion of the abandoned enugu international conference center ( work in advanced stage) (12) construction of a five star hotel close to the conference center ( not yet commenced) (13) rehabilitation of state owned companies, like eastern palm oil, avop ltd, etc ( I have seen MOU but I don't think anything is happening here) (13) establishment of farms in each local government with special focus on cassava ( I don't know how far they have gone here but a painter of garri is now 2k in enugu) (14) quadrupling the states IGR and taking the state's GDP from 4trn to 30trn ( until NBS releases the stats of this year's IGR by states ) (15). He promised that by the time he ends his tenure, there will be no untarred road in the city of enugu, ( he awarded about 80 roads within the city about 3 weeks ago) These are what I Know about the governor's promises and his move in achieving them so far. There are others that I am not aware of but if he can achieve just half of what I listed above,. Enugu state will be better for it Also in my own personal opinion projects no 1 and 8 are not necessary. |
Nwagukosy:She is married to a lagosians and has grown up children |
Confirmedzombie:I don't just understand how some of you reason, you want some one that has two adult male children to be taken away from her children and be buried in her father's house ? Is it not children that bury their mother ? I wonder why nobody asked this silly question when Maryam babangida died and was buried in minna |
deji17:Hatred has beclouded your sense of reasoning, her children buried her in their land when your mother dies (ie if she is still alive) you can take her body back to her family |
Zonefree:What do you mean ? Most Nigerians came to know about the burial just today, no prior announcement for such a person and you are saying the family didn't follow her instruction ? |
EnglandAmaka:So you live in Giedam |
Kenobsky:The alphas are actually waiting for him to be buried so they can go into secret mining, your advice would have been for them to dig the grave very deep to discourage miners, all these 3ft Muslim graves won't work in south west because they are mostly scavengers |
Fejoku:Thank you my brother, I give it to them raw and in uncouth manner but backed with facts . We don't need weaklings in this tribal stuff if you are not strong enough to face these barbarians , you better back off , don't come here to beg anyone to be nice to you. A region where most of tthe alphas , pastors and herbalists are into human ritual can never be the most peaceful in Nigeria. Fact |
vanbonattel:Say no to vawulence |
NinjaMetahuman:So all those mud houses with rusted roots in Ibadan have tv ? |
Softmirror:Lol,. Na mud house dey impress una abi |
I doubt. If there is any family consisting of father, mother and child (Ren) that doesn't have tv in enugu, if you can't buy flat screen, you can get the old one free or at most you buy it for 5k |
