my oga Enigma ,i mean to say the more people we have on those satellite the better,cos we can compare the signal strenght on our receivers for improvement for example if i am having 50% signal quality on my receiver ,and yours is like 64% i will improve on my signal quality at least to match that of yours which on my part its an improvement.Getting more dishes hooked up to a particular satellite doesnt increase the signal for real.

obijack ,is that dongoyaro tree the obstruction ,i still believe you can get the signal.Did you try to track or did you test the signal with compass or any equipment?How did you comfirm that nile is impossible.I believe in possibility .Is the building blocking your dish then why cant you increase the basement of your dish by putting concrete at least like 3-4 coaches of blocks and see if nile while not pump up.i still believe in possibilities.
if all you ever wanted is nile then remember what Henry Ford said,when his engineer told him its not possible,he said"JUST DO IT".

its has come to a known fact now ,that the more we track nilesat signal the better and improvement in term of the signal received,Quoted Chief Badaru in the previous post.,season 1 and 2 precisely.Initially we couldnt get good signal either on nile or on hotbird but with the Help of Badaru and Adewest now the sky is nt our limit,keep tracking ,keep flying ,FTA forever.If we can contribute all these so much on free to air and i think its high time we open a thread on renewable energy sources i.e alternative energy ,i believe we can do it .if we can fight against pay tv due to there poor performance, we can too on power holder of 9ja ,I GUESS YOU KNOW WHAT AM SAYING HERE. Everything is free let us contribute and see if things wouldnt work.

objack,since u are going for 7 degrees west ,with ur location its possible but if the dish is closer to the wall u might loss like 2-4 percent on your signal level.you may give me a call.

do u stay around ojota side very close to a house painted green,i think i saw your dish while on the bridge that leads to oworo side.These pictures of your is the dish is saw around that side.i might be of help.i saw the dish facing up and i told my driver what sat is available at that 0 degree .i told my driver this dish is at o degree.

Ibakun ,i guess you are still fresh.i suspect something is setting your dish and Lnb into a resonance,may be heavy traffic or a powerful generator is closer to that area.Even though a common okada sound can affect the signal quality of c band.try and locate a reduced or noise free environment for your installation.I did that to mine and it works fine .Initially when my neighbour on his generator the signal will move from 60 to red but when i discussed the issue with my neighbour he changed the location of his generator and the signal is ok my aljazeera is 75% .Hope that will work for you too.Good luck.

1,100 channels on hotbird ?!! that isnt bad but i guess all is scrambled except some few erotic channels.

With BUTONEDAY 5M dish motorised i guess we are moving towards satellite from America,canada and south america this 2010.

I think fixed is better than motorise,.if you aint hook up to nile then you can go for motorise.individual differences i think.but i for one fixed is ok and cheaper,all you have is there on nile except EPLeague so what do you expect?.

prince paris i guess you need basic satellite practical guide for you to track NSS7 and 2M the signals are there for you.just believe you can .2% cant show nothing you should hit up to 39% depends on the receiver you are using .I track with technosat once the signal hit 25-30% i go green.

note ,all who keen to track 2m ,u need a very sensitive ku lnb ,the signal is low so u need a big patience before you can nail that bird .This is what you do.first track either w7 36 and move gradually towards your right remember its at 21.6 meaning your dish must go up away from 36 while you move gradually to your right where ever you see a little pop up on your receiver hold on to that point and before you call jack the signal is there on your tv screen.skew your lnb the way you skew on w3a.

some channels are in english on nile,channels like bbc news,foxmovies,city7,mbc2,4,action ,max and parsia,france 24,dw-tv,dubai one,kuwait tv,showtime package,aljazeera international news among others.
