Dayoaf: Just say you didn’t get the chance to provide the consular with enough information that would have helped your case. Or “I didn’t get to” and omit the chance. That way your next VO would want to hear what you have to say. Okay. Thank you for this. |

Mickeybook: I'd advice you put unknown reasons.... As no one knows the reason for denial except the vo that interviewed you... Hope this helps Thank you for this, but dont you think the VO will definitely know or conclude that I didn't effect any changes before coming for another interview. |

BoluwajiPieters: Wow! Did he give any particular reason for denying you the visa? Looks like these VOs work with numbers... Like, they've a quota system or something. It'll be well. He did not. He just gave me that their normal blue paper that doesn't explain anything and said I will find the reason there. |

Me: Good morning, how is work?
VO: Fine thank you. (With a little surprise stare) Pass me your I20
Me: Pls have it. (Placed my hands for biometric)
V.O: What are you going to do at Pennstate University
Me: I'm going for my Master of laws program in Public International law under the foreign lawyers program since my practice jurisdiction is not within the States (I said this cos my I20 says LLM - foreign lawyers program, so I used it to my advantage)
V.O: Where do you currently work?
Me: I run my own law firm ****LLP alongside my partner counsel **** Bruno Tobi. He will be in charge while I go for my studies, I also run a non-for-profit the Center for ****** on the side.
V.O: How many staff do have there?

Me: I will return to my position as the managing partner of our firm *****LLP and also see to the launching of our mediation center under the auspices of the Center for ******.
V.O: I can see you have scholarship of 38k, so who will be paying for your deficit?

V.O: I see, (she muttered while holding on to my i20 and passport probably looking to confirm a few details. okay sir, (after typing for few seconds) I will be approving your visa (there came the white ️ sweet sheet.)
Me: Thank you and have a nice day (meanwhile I remained there pretending to be listening to those routine advice)
*FINIS*
*Personal tip:* Start early, don't be in a haste else you blur your chances. (I took me 3 solid years) prepare well, fast and pray, as a Catholic I had to do some long novenas, avoided all the daughter's of eve that came calling to come to my house and massage me
Secondly, guys grace works, but you have to do the work especially your DS160 form (make sure infos rhyme with your previous interview forms), take your time and fill it well. But above all pray, fast and fervently ask for uncommon favour and grace.
While at the US embassy, I noticed that all the embassy staff including the V.O were extremely kind and polite towards me, unlike in my first interview. I went to this interview more spiritually prepared than ever. Only God saw me true. Jesus Christ owes all the credit.
Thanks you all for everything. I can’t thank Fairheart and everyone on NL that has contributed positively enough for all the love and support.
DON'T EVER EVER GIVE UP.
God bless you all Congratulations bro. Was your interview today? |

Femotech123: Sorry for your denial my bro. But your transcript you posted isn’t well detailed enough, what is your course of study , is it a bachelor or masters and also maybe your work did not correspond with the course you wonna study and indicate if it’s LAG or ABJ.. so that gurus in the house can make comments . But for me is either your sponsor you don’t specify the exactly business he do at least one or two job is ok not he is this he his that and that... shy you grab or the work you do presently didn’t go with the course you wonna study... best luck next time reapply and prepare well again my brother 100 for you There is nothing wrong with his transcript. He posted based on what he was asked. I was also denied today by the Korean guy, and this was the exact question he asked me. I even have full funding. My own is a fully funded program. He said he can see that I have a scholarship, I wanted to explain to him that it is not scholarship but full funding, he just did not listen. Virtually everybody that he interviewed today was same question. He will first ask if you have travelled out before, once you say no, the next questions na just for formality sake. I dont know why the other lady was not on sit today. |

Miracle112: To buy Sanshu 1. download Hotbit and register 2. buy tron on binance or any other exchange and transfer it to Hotbit. Binance charges just 1 tron. That’s very cheap. 3. Sell your tron on Hotbit using Usdt pair 4. Convert your usdt to nUsdt on Hotbit 5. Use your nUsdt to buy Sanshu Thanks bro. Tron is Trx on Binance right? |

Xavious227: VISA APPROVED GUYS! Spring 2022 COA-28k Scholarship-4k Deficit- Covered by my Father Date: 30th September 2021 Location: Abuja Time of appointment:8:30
Not my first time going to the US Embassy( but was denied B1/B2 in 2018). This forum has been instrumental to my practice and information, so I had to just post mine for others to see.
Got there by like 7:45, entered by like 9, but had to wait for like 2hrs 30mins extra cause i chose Lagos on my DS-160, but got appointment in Abuja (there was no space in Lagos). I was interviewed by a white man. Omo The guy really drilled me, but to the glory of God, i was well prepared and the holy spirit helped me to be eloquent.
VO: Good morning, pass me your documents. ME: Good morning, How are you doing today? VO: Alright VO: Have you been to USA before? ME: Yes, a number times actually, I’ve been there about three times. VO: When last did you travel and why did you travel ME: 2016, Went with my family, It’s just for Holidays and a time for us to bond VO: What’s your highest degree? Me: I have a bachelors degree in anatomy VO: Where did you graduate ME: Babcock Uni VO: I can see you are going to St. cloud state University ME: Yes, that's right VO: For masters in biological sciences, but you did anatomy, So why this course? ME: Well biological sciences is a broad multidisciplinary course made up of different specialized field, and anatomy is just another aspect of this field. So me doing anatomy in my undergraduate gave me the foundation to succeed in this program. I’ll be specializing in neuroinformatics; as i’m interested in drug design & development against neurodegenerative diseases (The night before when i was rehearsing prior to this, something told me to learn how to link my undergraduate degree to what i’m going for and then what i plan to do with it. And that was the first major question asked) VO: Okay (Shakes head in affirmation, that’s good) VO: How did you get to know about this school? ME: I go to know about it from a lecturer of mine, He collaborated and has worked with another professor at that school (state the professors name). So when i decided i wanted to get a masters degree in USA, I checked out the school and luckily for me they had a program that aligned with my career goals. So i applied. VO: So, What will you be doing after your study? ME: I plan to apply and work at a top biotech/pharmaceutical company here in nigeria such as GSK, Roche, Emzor, where i’ll be trying to improve in drug design and development against neurodegenerative diseases such as alzheimer’s, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis parkinson’s. Also, I plan to work with NGOs and ministry of health to create awareness and improve treatment strategies/plan against these neurodegenerative diseases for the elderlys, that would be my quota for national development. And in the long run i’ll like to start up my biotech company which would be focused in neuroscience. VO: typing for a long time* wow that’s really excellent. So what do you do? ME: I’m a youth corper, currently finishing up my service. I serve in Enugu (stated where i serve), just flew in to Abj yesterday actually VO: I can see you got a scholarship? ME: Well yes, (tried to hand him the certificate for scholarship, *stops me* no no just tell me what’s it for) Ohh, it was given because i reached the academic standard and for cultural exchange as i’ll be adding diversity to the school, i didn’t apply for it tho. VO:Alright, *Points at the other name on the i-20* Who is this? ME: Ohh that’s my father, he will be the one funding the rest of my expenses VO: And what does he do? ME: He owns business that deal in importation, local production and distribution of clothing fabrics to private & government organizations. So he works with govt official such as army, police VO: *Interjects* Do you have any relatives or family member in the united states? Me: No, i do not. VO: Do you have friends in Minnesota? Me: No, I don’t VO: *types for longggggggg* well everything looks really good, I’ll be granting you your visa. *Hands me the white paper*
Starts talking about Covid-19, asks me if i have been vaccinated ( which i have been ). And keeps talking about taking direct flights and blah blah blah.........
I’ve seen a number of people that got easier/simpler questions; this was my prayer. Unfortunately i didn’t . I studied/rehearsed thoroughly. And God granted me the grace to find favor in the eyes of the consular officer and answer the questions audibly and without issues.
It was just God, that's all I can say!
Whatever way you are feeling about a question when you are preparing, do not ignore that feeling, cause if i had ignored that feeling and just prayed that God should not allow the question to be asked. I’ll be hooked!!! It’s better u are prepared and the question isn’t asked than you are asked and u are unprepared.
Prepare like there is no God and pray like you did not prepare at all!
Thank you all very much for all the help, this platform really helped me. Congratulations man |
