The person studied English language but has over 5yrs work experience as a contract staff in a bank. We are currently researching schools but just wanted to know if anyone here with this sort of background has successfully gotten funding before. I have same background too, though I have Masters now. I got funding from Texas Tech University for a PhD program. Check Texas Tech University, Bowling Green State University, Ohio University. There are lots of Universities in US that fund Educational courses. However, I will advice you take GRE if you have not, so that it will be easier for you to get funding.

I think information on i20 matters here. U will use the name of the person whose finance information u sent to your school and is reflected on your i20. Thesame document u sent to ur school, will be what u take along for your interview

Thanks a lot. What is stated on my I-20 is family. And the SOA I used was printed in June, which I think is too outdated to go to the interview with this October. Would it be okay if I go to the interview with another statement since I can't use that one again and the person is not in town to give me another one. And also in the I-20, my family fund is $26k and now I am going to the interview with a SOA that has $8k (my deficit is $8k), is this okay?

Good evening guys, please I got RA position from TTU for spring 2022 and I have $8k deficit. In filling my DS160 I put that I will be sponsoring the trip, but I will be going to the embassy with my uncle's SOA. So my question now is, the Self that I filled in on my DS160 is it okay? Or I should fill in my uncle's details since I am going to the embassy with his SOA or fill in employer since it is a funded program?

I just wonder why they are taking so much time. I applied to Iowa State University been contacted by a Prof for a possible research area. I replied and she asked for my CV which I have given her over a month now. I had to keep sending series of emails to her to know if she got my CV with no luck. Only for her to come back this Monday, gave me a survey she did on that research area for my further reading. I read the paper sharperly and responded Wednesday, as usual, she has gone silent again. The admission deadline is next week Friday and my application is still showing under review by graduate department.
