First of all, since it's time for another round of elections, it starts with ensuring only credible people with unselfish agendas are elected, whichever way that has to be achieved, not shouting and voting for those who throw cash and other gifts to people on the streets, which never lasts till the next week anyway.

Next is demanding accountability and responsibility from those already in power especially at the grass roots and local government levels.

Yes, I agree that issues like flood are major disasters that can occur irrespective of climes etc, but it could be less severe and less fatal if at least proper infrastructure for flood control is in place in the first instance.

It's a only a responsible and and proactive government that can act to contain incidences like these, in the aspects of emergency response, mass evacuation and rehabilitation of displaced people and stuff like that.

Wow.

We shall continue to experience incidences like these as long as we remain in and settle for mediocrity in all aspects of our lives.

Nigerians wake up from your slumber. Forget old politicians and embrace progressive, unselfish, thinking leadership that can help us in the mission to rebuild our land for real. A radical change from the old narrative to a new dawn.

Addition, it will interest you to know that places like the Pentagon and other security bases in the States aren't 3D viewable. These guys know what they're doing for sure.
