MsTom: Whats that for? If he still wants to play, let him play. I would think he is smart enough to play safe. At least he is doing that before marriage unlike those who would be pushed into it and then start playing with other women after marriage. Tell me, which is better? any evidence that he would not do same after marriage? |

gonzaga: While I join the entire mokeme family in wishing their father a peaceful rest, I want to enjoin chidi to use this period for self appraisal and sober reflection. Was your late father happy with the kind of life u were living? As his first son/born, u went about dating a sugar mummy( a former senator) to the knowledge of the general public, a woman well advanced to be your mother, without thinking of settling down and starting a family. I never knew your dad, but i doubt if he would have been happy with this conduct of yours. As if this was not enough, you opened a sex shop, where intimacy gadgets and other sexual items are sold. When u were asked by a reporter, u claimed to be satisfaying the yearnings of the populace. I also doubt if your late father would have been happy to tell his friends the kind of buisness his first son was into.
I want you to ask yourself if it was fair to have allowed your father to go at 72 without carrying his grand child from you. Life is not all about fame, fortune, material acquisition and sexual satisfaction. There are deeper things which i hope this period will reveal to you. Take time to retrace your steps, for it is never too late. Once again, may his soul rest in peace. OMG!!! |

Private/one man business company? anything can happen.
quote This is serious oooh why did they have to sack the very day she resumed from her maternity leave. Maybe they must have planned it before and was just waiting for her to resume, but that's bad.
In my office maternity leave has just to increased from 3 to 4 months including some additional benefits like pregnancy leave, anti-natal day off, paternity leave etc.
Also, once it's been noticed that u are pregnant any saction/penalty will be suspended until u deliver.
I think this is fair at least, other companies should emulate this.

Exactly |

Funny enough, most of this children are forced to hawk on the street and this happens most especially when they live with relatives. Then why flogging this children?
I could remember the experience I had while living with my auntie. I was just in primary 4 when she came to the village asking my parents to allow me stay with her. This woman almost killed me before my time. We dont lack anything in my parents house which she knows very well. She made me to hawk oranges while I was nine. She beat me as if am a slave to her. Each time my mummy visits as she comes to buy things for her shop every 2 weeks. My auntie will warn me not to tell my mum anything.
But as God will have it, she beat me one day and gave me a serious mark on my face and that was the week my mum suppose to visit. when my mum visited, she asked me what happened to my face, I could not but tell her the truth. She pretended as if she did not see it and went back home to tell my father that i must come back. My parents agreed and send message to her(my auntie) and that was how I left her. |
