Iyke-D: What are they giving people like you smoke nowadays? What has sharia or many years that your "brothers" have run the country done for the North? The country is currently without direction and you are here talking about "your brother" Yar Adua? Please stop kidding yourself or better yet stop sniffing the gutters to get high! Thank you. What do you expect from an aboki roasting suya by the roadside. |

Iyke-D: The legal amount is $2300. While I think she needs to go, it will really be interesting if she was arrested based on some foolish petition or comments from someone up high, at least, the original EFCC under Ribadu did not follow knee jerk reaction in arresting people. Come to think of it, is this even an economic crime? Couldn't they write to her asking for explanation on the true mission of the fund raiser? Oh well, welcome to the new and improved EFCC! davidylan: That is to say the baptism of Christ Himself was nonsense? She never said so. when you were baptized in River Jordan or river what ever, did a dove appear? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Must A Christian Be Baptized In A River? by obyann(f): 10:47am On Aug 14, 2008 |
Pastor AIO: Perhaps it is not advisable to get baptised in Nigerian rivers because they are all traditional deities. River niger is Oya the amazonian warrior. Which river is not one orisha or the other. River Oshun? River Obba? River Yemoo? River Yemoja Oogun? Oluweri (for small rivers and brooks), Olokun for atlantic ocean, Olosa for Lagoon.
In short if you are wary of nigerian religious tradition then do the smart thing. Stop washing!! Thank you |

Romance › Re: Does A Broken Home Affect Future Romance? by obyann(f): 2:10pm On Jul 10, 2008 |
Sisikill: Think about it, a child misbehaves. . . a normal thing with ALL children but because he is from a broken home, people around him look at him and say "Aww, he is acting up because his parents are divorced" so he doesn't get punished or not as severly as he should have been. He thinks to himself "Hmm, I am acting out because my parents are divorced". What does he do? Misbehaves some more but this time with the assurance of someone who now believes he has a reason to misbehave. Now flip it over to a kid who comes from an unbroken home, he misbehaves and before he can say Jack Robinson, he is punished and told that kind of of behavior is unacceptable. Do you think he'll do it again? of course he will, he is a kid after all BUT this time on the sly, peeking over his shoulder to make sure he doesn't get caught and punished again. Not all children from unbroken homes are punished or beaten by their parents when they misbahaved. Their are homes where parents don't scold their children not to talk of beating them. They over pamper them. |
