Thats not true. Remember there was a camera. The Naval officer has used the horse wip on the lady so many time before she collected it from the naval officer and wipped him. The lady did not deny this.

It all depends on the situation in which i had to make the choice.

On my scale of preference, my wife and children comes first.

however, There are instances when i attend to my extended family needs before that of my wife.

For example, when my wifey needs me to buy her some expensive clothing, take her on an expensive outing or organise an expensive birthday bash for her or our child and my younger brother is at the verge of being thrown out of school because he couldn't pay his fees, i'll surely pay his fees first.

Or my parent is lying critically ill in a hospital and treatment is denied him or her because she couldn't afford the initial deposit, i'll surely ask my wife to wait.

Dat goes even for friends and people i'm meeting for the first time.

But don't get me wrong, if it's my wife's or children's school fees against that of an extended family member, then i'll pay my wife and children's own first.

Same thing goes for the "lying critically ill in a hospital" scenario.

In conclusion, it all depends on the basis of comparison.

Wishing him SPEEDY recovery so what happens next? What about the lives of the many poor people in Nigeria suffering from the same sickness as he is? Should we also pray for those ones who can not afford the same level of care the president seems to afford himself? I mean is God the one to fix it all for us when we have a president who is supposed to CARE since he is afflicted with the same?  We might as well hold vigil in here daily for the millions in Nigeria who are suffering today and have no access to good hospitals with professionals that can at least diagnose their problem, let alone help them understand how severe the case is.

I don't know why I should be wishing a man who spent 8 years as a governor, dealing with this same ailment but never understanding that building a world class health care center in his own state would be a good way to go, so he can in his sickness, help others at the same time. It does not compute. I am not wishing him evil but I am sure not having sleepless nights here.

I wonder if you also prayed for Abacha to rise from the dead back when we heard he died. Since it is the same God that raises people from dead.
