No!!!Black ultra will perform poorly on prime focus antennas only.....on offset dish,including long cable run ...inverto black ultra outweighs..the single black ultra performs better than the quad based on reviews!

Oh thanks. Do you think getting a feed horn will increase performance? My target is to get polsat on hotbird. Also which sat is easier to track in Lagos hotbird or hispasat. Looking forward to your response.

a detailed experiment was carried out several years back on this forum using different lnbs.
the inverto black ultra performed poorly compared to the other lnbs. if u must buy an inverto
lnb go for the red classic. it out performed all the others by significant amount and it's what
i'm still using on my 4m till date.

or powersat. eurostar is also good.

Pic of the feed horn I need mostly used on vsat

So I have been working on my 2.4m offset dish for a few week, previously I couldn't get any to on hotbird. I had to readjust the lnb holder, thanks to IRAPADA for the pictures for focal length. I have had to refoil the dish, thanks to GeorgeD and kungu pics on the nilesat thread. Today I and getting 460 channels on hotbird, a few sky Italia and nova tps but I am still unable to get the Polish packages which is my main aim.
I have been reading that Ku lnbs are mostly designed for 90cm to 1.2m offset dishes and can't fully cover 1.2m and above hence the need for a feed horn. I actually confirmed these by cutting the mouth of my Inverto black ultra to the widest point and I was able to get addition 230 station (before cutting I was getting about 200). I really need a feed horn, pls help !

The white cover is made in Germany -European version.
The black cover is made for Middle-east- Dubai version.

Pls guys which of these is the original inverto black ultra? the one with the black cover or white. I am about buying this lnb locally for 8,000 naira but the ones I am seeing online from the UK has white cover while the one at Alaba has black cover.

Mine happened in 2002, I had a gf that was in ekpoma, she was running a predegree.. Some times she would come to Benin to see me as I was in uniben, or I would go to ekpoma to spend weekends..

True talk, make it InVerto Twin Black Ultra. InVerto Quad Black Ultra is also another good option and it works best on Vertical Polarity. These LNBfs don't come cheap, they are very costly.

@obyback, Morning. Naturally i would go for the Fuji Twin LNB. If according to @Dlee1, StarGold is better then look for StarGold SG-201HD, it's specifications includes Ultra HD Technology [uHD\ 4K\ 1080p]. It has extra high quality broadcast digital reception.

Someone just advised me to go for inverto black ultra, is it truely better than stargold and fuji for offset
