NEWBIN: We have dated for about a year She has her strengths and I loved her But I no longer do
Since we met, she has relocated from 5 houses in one year. She has problems with everybody; workplace, home everywhere.
She always complains someone entered her room in her absence; some story In all the five houses she rented. She complains about everything I do
I can't talk at a certain volume, I can't laugh out without a reprimand, I virtually can't do anything.
She cries every hour
We were planning to get married in January 2021
But I have called off this plan
I think she is mad It is better to live on the eaves of a house than to cohabit with a quarrelsome woman. Flee to preserve your sanity. |

I am disappointed in this man. No wonder Abia North people support Alex Otti more than him.
He should cite the Federal Government projects in the South East which the governors are appropriating. I don't know which of the governors appropriated Enugu-Portharcourt Express. Which governor appropriated 2nd Niger bridge? Is it Enugu-Onitsha Express?

Education › Re: How Long Did It Take You To Get A Job After You Graduated From The University? by obyrich(m): 7:23am On Dec 07, 2020 |
7victor: Immediately I finished my NYSC in 2010,I was given an appointment letter to start working in a bank with a salary of N2,200,000 CTC which translated to about N183,000 per month.
I did the documentation in the bank but at the nick of starting the job fully, the job was stopped by CBN.
That is how I lost the opportunity.
I started teaching in private schools from 2011 to 2018.
During that time, I came to nairaland and wrote that I needed a tall, slim, dark, beautiful girl for marriage.
I wrote my number in case a lady wanted to call because I have discovered that I love a lady more if she is the one who first approach me for relationship.
If I first approach a lady, I can easily leave her without thinking twice.
But if she is the one that first comes to me, I use to find it hard to leave her and even if she leaves me, I use to find it hard to forget her.
That is my discovery about myself.
So I wanted a situation where I will be able to love my woman so much and hold onto her forever.
That was why I wanted a lady to first call me and indicate her interest in me.
So I wrote my number in case a lady would have the presence of mind to call me for marriage so that I could marry her.
Two girls actually called but when I wanted to get serious with them, they backed out because what I was earning in private schools was peanut.
Although they didn't just leave me suddenly, but they were playing hide and seek and didn't want to immediately get married.
They said I was the kind of man a woman would love to marry but that my income was too small.
These two girls were in their early twenties so they were not under pressure to marry.
They were still taking their time.
I said no problem.
Then last year,God answered my prayers and gave me a lecturing job.
So I waited 9 years after NYSC to get a lecturing job.
During those 9 years,I got a Master and I am currently running a PhD.
Glory be to God. Congrats. Women and short-sightedness. I don't blame them, I blame their pastors and motivational speakers who teach them nonsense about life. They teach them to aim high without teaching them discernment. |

dederocs: I think the IG mentioned state police is the way to go, even the President has okayed state police, after the recent chaos, they realised you can not secure the whole country, from Abuja central command, state police has been okayed, even the senate knows the expediency of it, and Borno is an exceptional case of incessant violence and attacks. Other state governors should mobilise and stop stashing and embezzling the commonwealth of their people. Most governors are lazy thieves, Zulum is exceptional, God bless him. A shining star. I love that man, Zulum. When you see a dedicated and selfless leader, which is what Nigeria needs now, you know. The importance of state police cannot be overstated. But we have to be cautious to ensure it's proper organized to guarantee protection of human rights. |
Politics › Re: Hundreds of Borno youths join militia group to defend their communities(photos) by obyrich(m): 6:27pm On Dec 03, 2020 |
State police is what I just saw. Are they answerable to the IG? Who approved the use of those assault rifles for them? Who trained them? Who regulates their activities? Who disciplines them and ensure they do not go overboard and abuse the rights of other law abiding citizens? Much it is good to applaud the self-help project, we need to ask some questions.
By the way why are Amotekun and Enugu Forest Guards not carrying AK-47 rifles like their Borno counterparts? Are they not fighting the same cause? |

MadeMan01: My brother it is hard. That is my exact predicament. The simple truth is that Nigerian economy is so harsh that it has made people put a monetary value on everything even love. My predicament is I met a lovely girl three years ago whilst working. She was in her final year then and just completed NYSC. I lost my job in first trimester of last year. But before my girl left for NYSC in November 2019, I was getting some unsavoury vibes from her. I asked her about it she didn't speak out. But as a guy, I suspected the stress of me being jobless played a role. Prior to this, the girl told me she wants to go abroad and for this reason i started moves. Can you believe, this lady couldn't even wait for the outcome of the process despite knowing how far I'd gone with application and frequent teasing me about seeing her folks which I planned for December 2020. She messaged me in February 2020 to break it off for some guy in Abuja. Fast forward to November 2020, abroad visa has clicked and the girl that should be enjoying it is nowhere around me. I really love her. My brain tells me to leave her, my heart says go back to her forgive her stupidity after all she planted the seed of abroad in my head. Also I have two bank job offers. I am considering leaving her, going abroad and getting a foreign woman but a part of me holds her dear. I know Nigerian poverty caused her to make that decision. But my concern is whether she would have learnt her lesson and won't give up on me in Future joint project no matter how hard People hardly change. What changes is condition. If you take her back and take her abroad, she will leave you if she had a better option or she you to collect all you laboured for. Learn from your past and what happened to other people. First fool jo be fool. Na second fool be real Ode. Shine your eyes bro. |

Arrewa: see them!!
Make una enjoy!!
Over 40 farmers were killed in Borno village.
You ipobs have been celebrating this tragedy opening thread up and down on how the north is gone.
Farmers were killed in Borno village. But I have been seeing comments from the Easterners telling us how the whole of the north is gone and Wil never know peace.
The unity in the north is second to none!!
The killings happened not to Hausa or Fulanis.
The killings happened to kanuris of Borno.
But we share their pains!!
Killing of 43 innocent villagers in Borno is like a killing in kano to me.
For those mocking the whole north of Over the killings in Borno. Keep it up and enjoy!!
Dear people zabarmari We have failed you. To all those killed, May Allah grant them Aljannatu Firdaus. It's a shame that the people in Zamfara, kastina, Kaduna villages and Zabarmari couldn't get the protection they deserve. This is a failure of security, manifesting before our very eyes.
