Nothing to see here.

Just another day in Mushin.
Mushin boys that are always looking for the slightest excuse to start fighting each other.
You will see blood brothers fighting each other over divergent allegiance to different gangs.

Anybody who knows Mushin well knows that this is just another friendly match between hoodlums and miscreants.

If you have a real news, do well to mention me.
This one no be news.
So this is the reality in Lagos yet some people were surprised at the massive looting and destruction that trailed the radicalisation of the ENDSARS protest in Lagos.

How could some stupid people be shouting Yoruba ronu up and down when they know they have been grooming touts and rogues in the streets of Lagos??

Always looking up to their almighty US to come to their rescue, forgetting that the US also has its own internal problems to deal with.

If not that these so called Nwankor Professor is so dull, what does the US stand to gain by intervening in endsars protest matter? America only pursue its interests and nothing more.

That's the lowest low one can stoop.
Tell your government to stop looking up to other countries for financial support. Tell your politicians to stop looking up to USA for good health care, education for their children, holidays. Tell your government to build capacity and be economically independent.

Crime › Re: #EndSARS: Has Your Area Witnessed A Surge In Crime Rate? It's Tripled In Mine by obyrich(m): 6:00am On Nov 15, 2020
jesusjnr2020:
It's at least tripled in my area.

For instance, a week ago, at least two filling stations in my area were robbed by armed robbers. And that's an unusual development in this area as such had not taken place in over a year or even more, but two in the space of a week after #Endsars protests.

Then at least a house got robbed in my area, and a friend of mine was also robbed at gun point after he returned from work, when he was about to enter into gate with his car.

That in a nutshell is the glaring development in my area in the aftermath of the protests, but it appears it's not just peculiar to my area as I've also heard about similar developments in some other areas.

So let us know if the area you reside has witnessed a surge in crime rate after the #Endsars protests or not.

If so, it appears in hindsight that the #Endsars protesters should have not prolonged the protests especially after the government had accepted their conditions, and hence given the hoodlums the chance to exploit and destroy our already fragile security apparatus.

This has also led to the proliferation of weapons in the custody of criminals, making it much more difficult for the police to do their job of curbing crime and securing lives and property of the masses.

I hope it wouldn't take long for normal order to be restored even if it doesn't get better than it was beforehand, because I believe the whole essence of the protests was not to compound matters but make it better for the populace.

God bless Nigeria.
Your area no get name?

Hello nairalanders.
I was expecting a package from US which I got a mail two days ago about the package now available here in Nigeria. On the mail was the agent number who’s to deliver that to me and being the first time I expect that to be delivered to my doorstep before any payment.

The agent called me saying I have to pay 25k for clearance and it will be delivered do my doorstep. After asking from few people I was told never to pay before the delivery, so I ask for the company office he was working for he gave me that and the address but when I checked that on google it was another company he said they are partners.

To cut the story short I spend over 6k as transport to the given address but the company said they are not partners with anyone, so someone from the company offer to talk to him how i will get the package all he has to say is if I make the payment the package will be delivered.

Same thing he said this morning I should make the payment so he send a dispatch rider now to deliver it. So I seek for your help here what do you think I should do now I can’t lose the package.
There is no package anywhere in the first place. What you will lose is the 25k in addition to the 6I transport.

Yes but this kind of ambush style robbery, in daylight in a crowded area, has become rare in Lagos. We know of it on long, empty motorway where bandits and robbers can flee into the bush.

Like someone else said above , this is something from times past in Lagos. Let us hope this is isolated and not a sign of things to come.
The time it was common, was SARs not operational?
Politics › Re: I Am Not Igbo - Wike Clarifies Confusion About His Name And Link To Igbo by obyrich(m): 7:46pm On Nov 12, 2020
OBUKSBAYELSA:
Rotimi Amaechi acceptance of being Igbo is for the purpose of contesting the Presidential ticket of APC in 2023 While Uche Okwukwu was sponsored by Rotimi Amaechi inorder for him to claim Igbo if Apc zoned it Presidential ticket to South East. The truth is that Igbos and Ikwerre belong to the same language group but that does not suggest they are igboid. Similarly Urhobos and Isoko in Delta State looks like that but they are different ethnic nationality.
Finally in Urhobo Land they answer names like OKORO & CHILEDU are we going to say they are Igbos because of the semblance of names; No! I think the Igbo politicians should find a better way to live with thier neighbours instead of using the IPOB vehicle to appropriate areas not under thier direct control, that's why minority groups in the South/South are extremely careful in doing deals with the majority ethnic nationality most especially the Igbos.
Do you mean that Rotimi Amechi does not know that Rivers state is not in the south east? How will he benefit from APCs zoning the presidency to the south east by claiming to be Igbo? grin

Preciousgirl:
In an alleged robbery gone wrong, the robber had part of his penis bitten off by his victim at Abompey New Site in the Obuasi Municipality of the Ashanti Region of Ghana, West Africa.

Justina Donkor, a 24-year-old student, reported to the Police that Emmanuel Ankron, 23, drugged and forcibly had sex with her in her room.

The lady claimed she woke up to find the man holding a machete and pointing a locally manufactured pistol at her.

She alleged that Mr Ankron had robbed her of an amount of ¢550, her TV set and mobile phone.

In her statement to the police, she said her assailant later changed his mind to leave the room with his booty and asked his victim to play with his private part.

Although unwilling, she obliged and started and in the process, she bit off his penis. The suspect also allegedly bit her at the back.

“The suspect, with blood oozing from the wound, ran away leaving the TV set and her mobile phone behind,” she said in statement to the police.

Both of them are receiving treatment at the AGA Hospital.

The police have retrieved the cut off penis from the crime scene and deposited it at the hospital for preservation.

As a rule, the Navy, Air Force and The Army when driving in possession or convoy, doesn’t allow you overtake them because it could be considered a threat to whomever they’re carrying. And it is a known rule that you could be met with deadly force if they feel you’re an impending threat by driving too close for too long or attempting to overtake the normal Lagos way...
Is this a universal rule? Was this rule made during military regime?
