who gave monkey banana. Go and hustle in maiduguri. You are too lousy, not everybody that traveled abroad are no do well. Infact, countries like the US do assimilate more than 80% of our brightest, talented, gifted and most brilliant students.you are here crying but it is a shame that a man's junior brother in Los angeles is the one taking care of his two graduate senior brothers family who husles under curse like you are boasting, with less than 50k a month to take care of their family. Smiling under a curse. Nothing is wrong if you happened to see better opportunity that you are satisfied with. Go and shout to IDP's victims that home is home or take style and tell the southerners runing from the NE that home is home. You want husling, i will send you to sambisa to hustle.

Guy nowhere like home. Currently not in Nigeria but i miss Nija. Guys if you can make it abroad, you can do it easily in Nija. If you use all the skill you use abroad in Nija.

I wonder why so much hate on the issue of biafra. If they want to go and they succeed so be it. I learnt Malaysia actually kicked out Singapore from a union orchestrated by same British. Today they ve find their level. Please stop fighting because of this. Today the yesterday poor Singapore is now a first world while Malaysia is a third world. So stop the bad blood. All that matters is that we are humans.

While our federal schools struggle to give first class. A third class graduate in Nigeria Federal schools is equivalent to a first class abroad.

You are wrong a third class in Nigeria will come out first class abroad because of improved study materials. Easy to understand practicals fast internet hence he can learn from you tube, availability of subscribe data based like scopus, getting lecture notes a day before lecturer come to teach. With the use
of EDMODO.with all this a sharp nija students will come out first class and well refined.

Abegi which kind First Class, Malaysia is giving us back what we gave to them in the name of "Malaysian boys". Nigeria needs to evaluate the quality of education obtainable at some of these non educational countries trying to tap into the huge revenue of the education system.
Top Educational Countries are as follows; Canada, America, UK, Switzerland, Japan, Singapore, Australia and a few other countries in Europe...

The last time i checked. Malaysia has a good educational system compare to the West. Check out this facilities.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Pains Of A Recruiter / HR Mgr by oc2fish: 2:56pm On Oct 30, 2015
sihom:
When you do get back to your thread please help me understand the following things

1. What makes the expatriates stand out in a pool of candidates where there are Nigerians as well?

2. Why are expatriates more appealing to recruiters/employers more than Nigerians?

Questions 1 & 2 are kind of similar but please treat them separately and be brutally honest abeg.

3. Do these expatriates actually meet and exceed expectations where they end up? Do they out perform their co-workers from Naija or other African countries?

I ask these questions because I've met a good number of Nigerians who are well spoken with a good head on their shoulders and come across as well adjusted adults who can handle business at the work place.

I really don't buy this notion & idea that Nigerian graduates are unemployable. Granted a number of them may mess up during applications and at interviews but a majority of folks I've met have it together.

My honest observation.

My dear sister students and Government share the blame.

Government.
Imagine a student in biosciences whose lecturer has never use a PCR machine. This lecturer was taught by a lacturer who has not seen this machine. The same lecturer was taught by one who used the analog PCR machine in the 60's. Can you tell me how the student will be marketable in todays world.

Student.
Most students do not value knowledge. They see going to class as stress. They want the degree without the knowledge.

Goodmoorning sir, I guessing u might not remember me, am one of the students you taught agriculture to in freedom and peace secondary sch., just want to say a big thank you for the knowledge you impacted in me. And hope I can ask for your assistance in the nearest future regarding agriculture. Thank you and have a Blessed day.

The above is a thank you notes from a student i taught and flogged some few years ago. Teachers that flogged in most cases are not wicked but doing the work with passion. Most teachers that live the children to do as they like are haters. If you love this children you will flog them. We were flogged by the physics and chemistry teacher a few years ago. I can tell you that the 40 students in that same class are all graduates.
As a cop member and later a temporary teacher i flogged my students and todày i keep on receiving the above messag from my formal students.

The discipline is good enough for some of us to live a cult free life. We are not security officers but students who stayed physically fit. While stayìng focus on our education.

You don't have to be a genius to work at KPMG, you just have to be enlightened. I've also done some temp. work for KPMG and they are fantastic! The company I work for presently hires temp. from KPMG all the time to fill some of our technical needs and most time these temps are just normal professionals trained properly. Our problem in Nigeria is that the universities are still using syllabus from 1970s and refuse to expose undergraduates to real world applications and/or technologies.

Not about our syllabus but the fact that we are not developing the educational system. Imagine a researcher taught by a lecturer that does not know the current trend in his field of study. How will he produce a productive student

In countries that can feed themselves Agriculture and Bioscience resource Engineering aka Agricultural Engineering is the bomb. Every field of Engineering work round this department. Agric Engineering encompassess all the other field of Engineering. Infacts in Malaysia all the other departments are like tributaries to the department. Please stop spreading wrong information because of lack of understanding.

For your information every science department is linked to biology. A medical doctor needs reports from biologist to make diagnosis. The Agriculturist need the knowledge of molecular biology to understand crosses and production of crop/animal that reach maturity at the shortest possible time.

Going to school in a country without good practical base robbed the poster of total world knowledge.
