elmisti: Hahahahaha......go n sleep!...if i was mentioning governors den saraki will make d list......once again. ... ..ansa dis simple questions
Is ilorin d power house of kwara state ( both population n development)?
If ur ansa is yes. Is d emirate nt an affiliate of d sokoto kaliphate
If u tru fightn ur slave identity. Go to malete (aftr shao. wr kwasu is located. And ask d yoruba dere why d emir still dictate to dem who becoms dier daudu).....
U only want to enjoy d goodies dat coms wit bn shared wit d north. Buh u dnt want to accept d tag dat comz wit it ......nd av noticed any1 teln u NLders d truth is always tagged as igbo/ IPOB...... i prfr to be taged with a known identity to bn a confusd handicap like most kwarans. I know you dare not say Saraki because his second name is Bukola. That was how one mofo' like you said that; he has lived in Ilorin all his fùcking life, that 90% of Ilorin is Fulani, that Saraki is a Fulani name. Chai.... Ignorance, look what you've done! Daudu means= leader/eldest of a community/family. Saraki means= a wealthy and influential person in Yoruba Recognize your imaginary Bello and Sulayman and let me provide you with their Yoruba names. You are the one who asked to provide their names and I am justifying that. Then you are shifting the goal post to your ego. Did I tag you with any group. For you to say that, YOU ALREADY KNOW YOURSELVES. |

elmisti: thought u made up a list dere containing a Bello. Bello is d first name adopted by early yoruba converts (aftr d bello of sokoto )... And if u dnt kmw d sulyman family in ilrn. I shldnt argue wit u further.... I will help sort it out. Are you not talking about governors of Kwara state (former or incumbent) whether they are Yoruba or not which I have helped you bursted. So, pray tell me those names(sulayman and bello), who are they? Are they governors from Pluto or what? I am here to provide you with their Yoruba names as soon as you can recognize them. Sulayman what? Bello what? Once again, I hate to insult people. |

elmisti: Ignorance dey say kills faster than death......... Go research d story of afonja nd alimi..nd go find out if d following names ar yorubas
LAWAL BELLO SULYMAN BELGORE.........U ple jst com out from d caves u live in nd stat advertising stupidity.....kwara was yoruba (fighting oyo) until d mutiny of alimi raised an islamic state nd put it under d sokoto kaliphate. I don't like to insult people, I would like to take you out from your misery cum ignorance once and for all. I don't know much about the military governors, but the civillians? Very much. Only Shaaba Lafiaji and another person(i don't remember his name) are of mixed Yoruba and Bariba origin. All others are confirm Yoruba. Muhammed Alabi Lawal, Bamidele Belgore. The incumbent AbdulFattah Atanda Ahmed is from Shaare.. Provide the other names of the two(Bello, Sulayman) you asked to provide their Yoruba names because I don't know them in Kwara history. You have let me realized further that "ignorance kills faster than death" CONTINUE |

emmasege: APC and their subtle Islamic agenda sha. Na so we for get numbers 1, 3, 4 & 5 citizens as all Muslims if not for the divine intervention that scuttled their plan and enthroned Dogara, a northern Christian as number 4 citizen. They will always hide their Muslim names & identity until a time as now when they would've got they wanted e.g. Femi Gbajabiamila & Abike Dabiri. I'm not against anyone's religion but always come out in your true colours so people can be well informed of their choice. Not many southerners knew Femi & Abike were Muslims until recently. No, you are wrong. The names; Abike Dabiri and Femi Gbajabiamila sounds more of a Yoruba name. How can you say they are hiding their Muslim names. Even me too, my Yoruba names must comes first everywhere I go. My appearance(my dress, beards) will give me away that I am a Muslim and I am proud of it. Do you the name of the newly appointed vice chancellor of OAU? His name is Taofeek Salami Ayobami, a christian, a pastor and has his own church. Is Taofeek Salami not a Muslim name? And neither Dabiri nor Gbajabiamila bears any name that is christian-like that would make them appear as christian. But that cannot be said of that OAU vc who bears islam/muslim name. Then, what about Yakubu Gowon and Yakubu Dogara(both christian)? Yakubu and Jacob are the same name but Yakubu is for Muslim while Jacob is for Christian. Why not Jacob Gowon and Jacob Dogara respectively. What do you think about that? |

Sanchez01: The problem is our institutions and their old schooled lecturers and some so called tutorial teachers. English is indeed dynamic, and the beauty of the language is to stay updated. Most examiners are already in the know and would readily set questions to mess up the minds of young exam candidates whose unrepentant teachers have fed their minds certain words 'that can never change' just like you earlier stated. That it is wrong today does not mean it may stay the same forever. And that it is right today does not mean that it would stay that way tomorrow. Unfortunately, I have gone beyond 'examinations', if you know what I mean.
I created a thread about two days back to discuss dynamism of the English language with respect to a certain word. I'm sure it would interest you to know. https://www.nairaland.com/3176198/grammar-conflict-converge-vs-converge#46816593 True. Knowledge is power. I never know it exists. Thanks. Please can you recommend a book on this for me? |

Sanchez01: You people should stop saying this. I don't make any of you sound smart. Modern day English is super dynamic and fast evolving. It is not about sounding smart here but to know the correct form. As at this time, that 'modern day English' has not evolved to the level where the past tense of 'broadcast' is 'broadcasted'. Broadcast is broadcast in the past tense and past participle forms. In fact, there was never anything like broadcasted. It never exist. |

We Niger deltans need a king like the Obi of Onitsha and not a tourist Ooni has done more than that ever since his ascension to the throne and even before his ascension. Apart from the cocoa and cashew nurseries for farmers that published on Nairaland, there are more. For the fact that the other news was not published on Nairaland does not mean he has done nothing. You can help yourself by google it, or better still if you have someone living in Ife, you can ask about it. |

BUT take note that this contest will not last forever. Matter of fact, it comes to an end at exactly midnight on Thursday, 21st April, 2016.
So, what are you waiting for? Get your thinking caps on and respond to my riddle as quickly as possible.
Now, here is the riddle:
Mr and Mrs Johnson Adelaja were having a conversation on their 5th marriage anniversary.
Kneeling before him and shaking his shoulders, Mrs Adelaja begged her husband: "Honey, please change your mind now."
Mr Adelaja replied: "My dear, I will only change my mind on one condition."
Mrs Adelaja said: "And what condition is that?"
Her husband replied: "On the condition that I will add another room to our present building!"
What was Mrs Adelaja referring to when she begged her husband to change his mind?
What is the meaning of Mr Adelaja's statement? What does the "room" and the "building" mean?
That is the riddle!
I bet you will not be able to get it! But, if you do, you will WIN "The Importers Bible" 2016 (newly updated version) by Kome Itoje free!
I know the answer that will quickly come to your mind is "New Wife" for the "room" and "Marriage" for the "building:". But, believe me, it is not the answer to the riddle. Very far from it!
So, you need to think harder!
Now, get to work and start racking your brain and provide the correct answer to the riddle before someone else does!
Thanks for your time. 1. Mr Adelaja INSISTED ON NOT CELEBRATING THEIR 5th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. So, Mrs Adelaja WAS BEGGING HIM TO CHANGE HIS MIND. 2. Mr Adelaja's statement means that FOR HIM TO CHANGE HIS MIND, Mrs Adelaja WILL BE PREGNANT AND BEAR HIM ANOTHER CHILD SO AS TO ADD TO THEIR MARRIAGE. room = CHILD. building = MARRIAGE. |
