My dear nairaland family, I am a living witness of that road block. Just after Lokoja heading down to Okene. I took night bus from Abuja to Nnewi, GUO transport company. That road was blocked by armed robbers. We heard the robbers are fulani men who attack, plunder, kill, maim and rape occupants of vehicles that stumble and fall from jamming the road block.

We passed that road block around 2am. Ours was a luxurious bus. Our driver was in top speed, so he maneuvred the block and only the right pairs of tires hit the block, but our driver kept running, trying hard to control the swerving vehicle from tumbling over while still runnung in top speed, whilst everyone was shouting Jesus! Jesus!! Jesus!!!....because the fulani idiots actually actually came out from nowhere exactly and gave us a hot pursuit in about 5 motorcycles.

God spared our lives.

I knew another bus may not have same luck as we had.

I wonder if there is still hope for this damned country?

I can speak Yoruba and a little bit of Igbo no thanks to my Igbo friend who since 2012 I have been begging to teach me his language extensively but keep turning me down.
It pains me a lot speaking only one Nigerian language fluently.
