See the huge snake i killed in my cousin's church this night.
The church is close to my house nd we were setting up the new musical equipment the church bought and testing it late into the night.
After we were done, we decide to play some songs a little. We later put "victory" by Eben on continous play while we danced.
When we were done, he wanted to go put off the generator when he ran back that there's a big snake already in the church going towards the children church.
I ran out, found a stick and got back into the church bt i first freaked out when i came face to face with the snake bt had to summon courage when i saw the snake trying to escape.
The first strike caught it well, subsequent ones killed it.
We had to burn it even in the rain bt it didn't burn completely.
We'll continue d burning tomorrow.
Indeed, God gave us victory.

yea...
It was initially headed for the children church bt when it saw me it paused while i was kind of afraid to launch at it.
Bt when i saw that it was changing direction to the church store that was opened very close to it, i had to act fast by striking it.
Thank God the first strike was fatal to it before i delivered more.

There are houses everywhere bt there some few grown grasses in some areas.

They are. The primary reason for this might be two. One prevention of diseases/ cross breeding and prevention of open grazing probably. Even though the cow was health, the Law is probably clear on the action and there was no requirement to check the health.

I think the law targets humans and not cows. It prevents them from being careless in their duty.

For those saying Oyinbo wicked, it shows how serious they are with every entity. They even address cattle management in an act or law. Everything is serious and important. This is why Nigeria cannot work as we operate now. We don't even know who the herders are. The land is just free for all. They don't even pay tax.

the call to pardon the cow was because d cow strayed away from home.
It wasn't led by a gun or matchete holding lunatic with d sole intent to cause untold hardship nd cold blooded murders.
It's even Nigeria that needs this type of law.
It would ve been a welcome development here to curb the madness of the fulani herdsmen.

If they want to carry out such cruel treatments on the animals, then it's their duty to provide orientations to the animals on the danger of illegal border crossing.

I believe that this cow was not given a fair trial.
Who defended it?
This is the failure of the authorities to effective check their border.
Even though u want to see it the angle of disease control, vets have given their own clean bill of health on the cow.
Bt then, this gives me serious thought on the Nigerian situation.
Ours is just irredeemable cos we deal with thousands of different herds at d same time.
No check, No law, No enforcement.
