Hmmmmmm All I see is Confusion two people speaking for one man! Media and Publicity / Media and Publicity Expected Media / publicity and Public affairs or better still New Media Any congratulations to the pair!!! |
It is beginning to dawn on the APC that talk is cheap and there is a huge difference between being in power and raining non constructive insults from the sidelines. While Lai has suddenly gone silent! There had been twin bomblast and 3 explosions and no one seem to be saying anything to Nigerians haven already reneged on 2 promise (a public asset declaration and office of the first lady) it's seem there is more to come Despite ample time given to them before hand over ( precisely 60days April -May) they seem not able to distinguish their left from their right hand as complete silence continues to pervade the nation! Even their situation room appears confused dishing out information in one minute and claiming to be hacked moments later It's a dangerous situation as even the armed forces don't even know whether Orders from the previous chiefs are still valid! For the sake of Nigeria and Nigerians we hope Buhari and his team succeed but they must quickly realise that those who elected, them expect them to hit the ground running! May God Bless Nigeria
|
I hate the senseless opposition as practised by the APC unfortunately it has been accepted as the Norm and will hunt them! Every sincere Nigerian with a conscience will agree with Barcanista! This is a Simple matter I promised to do A I went Ahead to do B A and B ain't thesame one is a vowel the other is a consonant! There is No argument on this is simple and straightforward! If Buhari says he will pay 25 million people 5000 monthly and decides to pay 500 to 25 million people there is a Breach! He is President of Nigeria today not President of APC or PDP so let's help him by telling him the truth and refrain from calling a Black Kettle white! May God Help us all |
Best wishes to him and may God Continue to Bless Nigeria and her people!!! |

Nigerians on social media have reacted to the words of Reno Omokri, who served as the Special Assistant on New Media to former president Goodluck Jonathan. Omokri took to his Twitter handle to thank Jonathan for the opportunity to serve Nigeria but the tweet generated mixed reactions from users of the micro-blogging site. Omokri is one of the aides of Jonathan who got a lot of stick from social media users over his defense of the actions and programmes of his principal. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/05/social-media-users-react-as-omokri-thanks-jonathan-nigerians/

I missed the last flight into Abuja Last nite and had to wake up early to catch the first flight out from lagos to Abuja As I stepped into the terminal Building behold the Picture of Nigeria's most Insulted and under appreciated President steered at me suddenly it downed on me that, that was the last time I will be seeing that picture in that position seeing that the president will be dedicating his life to national and global peace efforts after leaving office in few hours time! Nigerians may never be able to properly and objectively assess the president until few months from now ! We wish the President and all others who have served this nation passionately the very best as they return to private life. May history be kind to the President for conceding defeat and saving Lives God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria Happy Democracy day to all Nigerians and best wishes to Buhari and his team!!! https://mobile.twitter.com/ochejoseph

Sahararporters, in its story earlier this year entitled ‘Jonathan’s Aide, Omokri burglarizes house in Delta, carts away N25Million meant for buying of votes’, has distanced himself from the report and also denied providing information for the online medium. Oyoro made this known in his statement of defence at the High Court of Justice, Asaba Division following a suit initiated by Reno Omokri. In a copy of the statement of defence signed by his counsel, Ovie Abenabe of F.O. Olokor & Co and made available to Vanguard, Oyoro noted that he did not publish through the internet news media www.saharareporters.com any statement with the title “Jonathan’s Aide, Omokri bulgarizes house in Delta, carts away N25 Milion meant for buying of votes”. He also claimed that he did not authorise, mandate, instruct and/or encourage the internet news media www.saharareporters.com to publish any purported malicious statement about the person of Omokri. Oyoro added that he doubt the source/origin and authenticity of the report and challenged Omokri to establish the authenticity of same. Parts of the statement reads, “ the defendant (Alex Oyoro) did not on the 14/02/2015 and/or any other date publish through the internet news media www.saharareporters.com any statement with the title “Jonathan’s Aide, Omokri bulgarizes house in Delta, carts away N25 Milion meant for buying of votes” “The defendant denies publishing about the person of the claimant (Reno Omokri) any false and malicious statement through the internet news media www.saharareporters.com Another part of the statement added that “the defendant did not also authorise, mandate, instruct and/or encourage the internet news media www.saharareporters.com to publish any purported malicious statement about the person of the claimant. The source/origin and authenticity of the purported print out referred to in the statement of claim is doubted by the defendant and the claimant is challenged to establish the authenticity of same”. “The defendant denies the allegation of the claimant that the defendant published defamatory matters against the claimant to blackmail the claimant into abandoning any recovery of premises proceedings. When contacted, Omokri noted that his lawyers will based on the statement of defence of Alex Oyoro sue saharareporters.com directly and reserves the right to also sue other news outlets that carried the libelous story. It will be recalled that on February 14, Omokri threatened to drag Saharareporters to court if it fails to publish an apology within three business days over the story while a week later, a New York Law firm Daniel Szalkiewicz & Associates, P.C, engaged by Omokri, served a Cease and Desist Notice on saharareporters.com and its publisher, Omoyele Sowore . The firm also served the notice on Sowore’s financiers, The Omidyar Network and The Ford Foundation. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/05/omokri-alleged-source-denies-saharareporters-says-authenticity-of-story-in-doubt/

The APC has made a Lot of Promises without the PDP Nobody will be able to hold them accountable! The PDP must pick up the pieces and rise up to the occasion, learn from her mistakes make necessary corrections and stand up to be counted! Well spoken Mai Basira |
PREPARE YOUR GROUNDS FOR OPPOSITION POLITICS - MAI BASIRA In trying to bring the PDP’s partisans and leaders to the brighter side, the National Youth Leader of the PDP, Abdullahi Hussaini MaiBasira has urged the party’s youth leaders to pick up the pieces of what might be left of the party and strive to regain its lost electoral glory in 2019. In a letter dispatched to all the party’s youth leaders at the 6 political zones, 236 states and FCT on April 27, MaiBasira tasked the party’s youth leaders to prepare its grounds for opposition politics. Excerpts from the letter reads; “Despite the reality of our political position, I remain very proud of your tireless contributions to the elections and of promoting non – violence. And we should all be proud of the democratic records of our party: A record of sustaining democracy for 16 years, of conducting nationwide credible elections, promoting press freedom, building and supporting institutions to support our democratic growth and conceding an election thereby standardizing and safe guarding civil transition in Nigeria for posterity. “Over the next four years, we would be the opposition party in Nigeria. As loyal party members, we must come to terms with this reality. We must fundamentally relate it to our functions and duties. As we were held to account, we must now fully equip and prepare ourselves to hold others to account as the leading opposition party. This political transition comes with a lot of perseverance and trials. We must therefore summon an equally appreciable level of party commitment and dedication. “Today, by the electoral decision of the Nigerian people; and by the will of Providence – our political role will now be altered from the party in government to one in opposition. We should equip ourselves properly for this role. “We should now absorb the shock, regenerate our ingenuity, reshape the thinking of our constituents, provide trending and alternative methods of doing things, deeply reconnect with our followership base, assert our opinions more firmly on party decisions, and most importantly; you should – prepare your grounds for opposition politics. “The task will be daunting, the road not so clear and some of our strongest party faithful may fall off the radar. But, with determination, commitment and linking back to our founding ideals, we will have a formidable opposition in real time and in due time; regain our lost electoral glory”, he stated. http://www.naij.com/437133-pdp-youth-leader-charges-zonal-leaders.html

Similarities between President Jimmy Cartar and President Jonathan I was relaxing for the weekend watching Discovery World watching this documentary (THE PRESIDENTS GATE KEEPERS) when the similarities between these two president struck me and i decided to share I. Kidnap American Hostages were taken from the Iranian embassy in Teheran after the overthrow of the Iranian Monarchy this Kidnap and the consequent failure in attempted rescue became the defining moment of Carter's administration Similarly the Kidnap of the Chibok girls in the North Eastern enclave of Nigeria and the failure to rescue became a major issues that defined the Goodluck Administration till date Like Cartar, Goodluck also put in so much effort to secure the release of the hostages 2. RELEASE OF THE HOSTAGES Iran never released the Hostages until Ronald Regan was elected President of the United states and took Office, this is similar to the dilemma of President Jonathan faced, The Chibok girls as are still yet to be found and the elections are Over 3.FUEL QUEUES AND HARDSHIP Many Nigerians Never Knew that Americans once queued to Buy fuel and other essential items! In the 70's OPEC increased crude price by over 100% this led to massive Fuel Queues in cities across America in the lead up to elections this turmoil led to a massive dip in president Carter's approval rating. This is similar to the activities of major Oil Marketers which led massive fuel queues especially in major cities across Nigeria this also had a huge impact on the Presidents reelection bid and like jimmy Carter he Lost!!!! LESSON: 20 Plus years later Obama,s team leveraging on the mistakes and tragedies of Carters failed rescue that despite the crash of a Helicopter just like in IRAN over 20 years ago the NAVY seal this time prevailed Nation building is a continuous exercise i sincerly hope Gen Mohammadu Buhari and his team will learn from the mistakes of the past MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS NIGERIA http://tsuntsumediaservices..com/2015/05/similarities-between-president-jimmy.html

A company you want to apply to has asked you to send in a CV and you're thinking, "wait..what?" Don't worry! Curriculum Vitae (CV) means "courses of life" in Latin, and that is just what it is. A CV is a concise document which summarizes your past professional skills and experiences. The purpose of this document is to demonstrate that you have the necessary skills (and some complementary ones) to do the job for which you are applying. Follow these steps to create a great CV--and go get 'em tiger! DO shout about your achievements Your résumé/CV needs to position you as the best possible candidate for the job. So without waxing lyrical, let your potential employer know what you’ve achieved in your current role. For example: Company name * Pipeline Engineer * 2013 – present Successfully coordinated, planned, scheduled and managed a $200M pipeline under budget and within time scope. It’s also a good idea to outline your achievements at the top of your résumé/CV as a ‘career summary’ or ‘career highlights’. Recruiters or hiring managers may have lots of résumés to wade through, and if they can immediately see your accomplishments, this can only be to your advantage. KEY POINTS TO NOTE WHEN WRITING A CV Know what information a CV generally contains. Most CVs include your personal information, your education and qualifications, your work experience, your interests and achievements, your skills, and references. However, there is no set format for a CV, what you include is up to you. Consider the job you are applying for. Research the company. A good CV is tailored to the specific job and company you are applying for. What does the company do? What is their mission statement? What do you think they are looking for in an employee? What skills does the specific job you are applying for require? These are all things to keep in mind when writing your CV. Check the company’s website for extra information about the CV. See if there is any specific information they want you to list in your CV. There might be specific directions listed on the application page. Always double check this. Peace be still |
Washington (AFP) - The White House said Tuesday it was too soon to tell if the Islamic State group was behind an attack in Texas targeting an exhibit of caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed, despite claims by the jihadists. The IS group earlier claimed responsibility for Sunday's attack, in which two gunmen shot a security guard in a Dallas suburb before being killed by a police officer outside an event showcasing the cartoons, which many Muslims find offensive. The case "is still under investigation by the FBI and other members of the intelligence community" to determine if the two assailants had any ties to the IS group, White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters. "So it's too early to say at this point." http://tsuntsumediaservices..com/2015/05/isis-behind-attack-on-texas.html |

Team Buhari Via Garba Shehu just confirmed to the Press that AIT has been Barred from covering his events ! Many have been arguing that the president - elect does not have the Powers to issue such restrictions to a legal entity covering a public function while others argued that it his actions were right and can be likened to pressing the Block Button on twitter to isolate those that insult you! 1. Did he violate any law ? If yes which one, if No why 2. Does this have anything to do with the Akwa Ibom snubbing of Punch will , states follow suit? 3. What does this action potends for general Press freedom Nigeria post May 29? 4. Is the fear of Decrees 4 which many seem to be raising Justified? This was how Nigerians reacted Good Morning Nigeria!

I hate drug peddlers but that part that involves shooting in the head is simply crossing the line, they really don't need to do that! But I will recommend this type of treatment for paedophiles especially the ones that specialise in violating the innocence of our Babies! |
God Bless President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Like = Amen Share = Amin, Ameo, Amem Quote = So shall it Be |
Many young African women see modelling and acting as an escape route from the clutches of Poverty and under development that pervades the continent. However the way most of them have gone about has left a sore taste in the mouth of the continent, acute loss of weights and bizarre appearance might work for lady Gaga but whether it will help this sisters is a story that time has to answer !!!

Honestly Buhari and the APC made many unrealistic promises in the lead up to the election! Nigerians will hold him and the APC to their words as regards issues like 1. 5000 naira social security project for the unemployed Young Nigerians 2. 24 hours power supply or 12000MW in 8 months 3. Naira dollar parity or substantial appreciation 4. Feeding project for pupils etc Oby my dear your analysis did not capture other critical components, statutory deductions and the revenue sharing formula (FG /States /LGA ) Revenue accruals is not like debit and credit. Whether or Not Buhari and the APC has the capacity to deliver on these promises ONLY TIME WILL TELL! For the sake of Nigeria I pray he succeeds May God Continue to Bless this great Nation! |
SLIDEwaxie:That will require a constitutional amendment as all accruing revenue are meant to Go into the Federation account the PTF method is very unlikely under a democracy! They might have to modify if they must fulfil that Promise |
MzJackBaueress:Lol Congrats my dear, you need to check when the account was created! As long as Nigeria exist this account will remain! Enjoy the best of your weekend! |
