It is beginning to dawn on the APC that talk is cheap and there is a huge difference between being in power and raining non constructive  insults from the sidelines.

While  Lai has suddenly gone silent!
There had been  twin bomblast and 3 explosions and no one seem to be saying anything to Nigerians ‎

haven already reneged on 2 promise (a public asset declaration and office of the first lady) it's seem there is more to come

Despite ample time given to them before hand over  ( precisely 60days April -May)  they seem not  able to distinguish their left from their right hand as complete silence continues to  pervade the nation!

Even their situation room appears confused dishing out information in one minute and claiming to be hacked moments later 

It's a dangerous situation as even the armed forces don't even  know whether Orders  from the previous chiefs are still valid! 

For the sake of Nigeria and Nigerians we hope Buhari and his team succeed but they must quickly realise that those who elected, them expect them to hit the ground running!

Nigerians on social media have reacted to the words of Reno Omokri, who served as the Special Assistant on New Media to former president Goodluck Jonathan.
Omokri took to his Twitter handle to thank Jonathan for the opportunity to serve Nigeria but the tweet generated mixed reactions from users of the micro-blogging site.
Omokri is one of the aides of Jonathan who got a lot of stick from social media users over his defense of the actions and programmes of his principal.

‎I missed the last flight into Abuja Last nite and had to wake up early to catch the first flight out from lagos to Abuja 

As I stepped into the terminal Building  behold the Picture of Nigeria's most Insulted and under appreciated President steered at me suddenly it downed on me that, 
 that was the last time I will be seeing that picture in that position seeing that the president will be dedicating his life to national and  global peace efforts after leaving office in few hours time!

Nigerians may never be able to properly and objectively  assess  the president until few months from now !

Oyoro made this known in his statement of defence at the High Court of Justice, Asaba Division following a suit initiated by Reno Omokri.

In a copy of the statement of defence signed by his counsel, Ovie Abenabe of F.O. Olokor & Co and made available to Vanguard, Oyoro noted that he did not publish through the internet news media www.saharareporters.com any statement with the title “Jonathan’s Aide, Omokri bulgarizes house in Delta, carts away N25 Milion meant for buying of votes”.

He also claimed that he did not authorise, mandate, instruct and/or encourage the internet news media www.saharareporters.com to publish any purported malicious statement about the person of Omokri.
Oyoro added that he doubt the source/origin and authenticity of the report and challenged Omokri to establish the authenticity of same.

Parts of the statement reads, “ the defendant (Alex Oyoro) did not on the 14/02/2015 and/or any other date publish through the internet news media www.saharareporters.com any statement with the title “Jonathan’s Aide, Omokri bulgarizes house in Delta, carts away N25 Milion meant for buying of votes”
“The defendant denies publishing about the person of the claimant (Reno Omokri) any false and malicious statement through the internet news media

Another part of the statement added that “the defendant did not also authorise, mandate, instruct and/or encourage the internet news media www.saharareporters.com to publish any purported malicious statement about the person of the claimant. The source/origin and authenticity of the purported print out referred to in the statement of claim is doubted by the defendant and the claimant is challenged to establish the authenticity of same”.
“The defendant denies the allegation of the claimant that the defendant published defamatory matters against the claimant to blackmail the claimant into abandoning any recovery of premises proceedings.
When contacted, Omokri noted that his lawyers will based on the statement of defence of Alex Oyoro sue saharareporters.com directly and reserves the right to also sue other news outlets that carried the libelous story.

It will be recalled that on February 14, Omokri threatened to drag Saharareporters to court if it fails to publish an apology within three business days over the story while a week later, a New York Law firm Daniel Szalkiewicz & Associates, P.C, engaged by Omokri,   served a Cease and Desist Notice on saharareporters.com and its publisher, Omoyele Sowore . The firm also served the notice on Sowore’s financiers, The Omidyar Network and The Ford Foundation.‎

“Over the next four years, we would be the opposition party in Nigeria. As loyal party members, we must come to terms with this reality. We must fundamentally relate it to our functions and duties. As we were held to account, we must now fully equip and prepare ourselves to hold others to account as the leading opposition party. This political transition comes with a lot of perseverance and trials. We must therefore summon an equally appreciable level of party commitment and dedication.

Similarities between President Jimmy Cartar and President Jonathan

I was relaxing for the weekend watching Discovery World[/b] watching this documentary (THE PRESIDENTS GATE KEEPERS) when the similarities between these two president struck me and i decided to share


[b]I. Kidnap

American Hostages were taken from the Iranian embassy in Teheran after the overthrow of the Iranian Monarchy this Kidnap and the consequent failure in attempted rescue became the defining moment of Carter's administration

Similarly the Kidnap of the Chibok girls in the North Eastern enclave of Nigeria and the failure to rescue became a major issues that defined the Goodluck Administration till date

Like Cartar, Goodluck also put in so much effort to secure the release of the hostages

2. RELEASE OF THE HOSTAGES

Iran never released the Hostages until Ronald Regan was elected President of the United states and took Office, this is similar to the dilemma of President Jonathan faced, The Chibok girls as are still yet to be found and the elections are Over



3.FUEL QUEUES AND HARDSHIP

Many Nigerians Never Knew that Americans once queued to Buy fuel and other essential items!

In the 70's OPEC increased crude price by over 100% this led to massive Fuel Queues in cities across America in the lead up to elections this turmoil led to a massive dip in president Carter's approval rating.

This is similar to the activities of major Oil Marketers which led massive fuel queues especially in major cities across Nigeria this also had a huge impact on the Presidents reelection bid and like jimmy Carter he Lost!!!!


LESSON: 20 Plus years later Obama,s team leveraging on the mistakes and tragedies of Carters failed rescue that despite the crash of a Helicopter just like in IRAN over 20 years ago the NAVY seal this time prevailed
Nation building is a continuous exercise i sincerly hope Gen Mohammadu Buhari and his team will learn from the mistakes of the past

They Send a customized email in the Banks Name with Links to a site where the will collect your particulars including ATM Numbers and PINS 

TIMING 

They target Customers mainly On Fridays or in Public Holidays that way the Customer find it Difficult to contact the Bank to Block the card until his or her account is emptied 

TRUTH 

BVN registration cannot be done online the owner of the account must present his/herself physically for his thumb print and other data to be captured 

No Bank sends email with any Link to Validate any account or Cash Any Money once you see an email with aa Link to a Data base it's a FRAUD click at your own risk 


NO bank will ever ask for your PIN NO matter the circumstances

Washington (AFP) - The White House said Tuesday it was too soon to tell if the Islamic State group was behind an attack in Texas targeting an exhibit of caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed, despite claims by the jihadists.

The IS group earlier claimed responsibility for Sunday's attack, in which two gunmen shot a security guard in a Dallas suburb before being killed by a police officer outside an event showcasing the cartoons, which many Muslims find offensive.

The case "is still under investigation by the FBI and other members of the intelligence community" to determine if the two assailants had any ties to the IS group, White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters.

"So it's too early to say at this point."

Honestly Buhari and the APC made many unrealistic promises in the lead up to the election!

Nigerians will hold him and the APC to their words as regards issues like 

1. 5000 naira social security project for the unemployed Young Nigerians

2. 24 hours power supply or 12000MW in 8 months 

3. Naira dollar parity or substantial appreciation 

4. Feeding project for pupils etc 

Oby my dear your analysis did not capture other critical components, statutory deductions and the revenue sharing formula (FG /States /LGA )
Revenue accruals is not like debit and credit. 


Whether or Not Buhari and the APC has the capacity to deliver on these promises ONLY TIME WILL TELL! 

For the sake of Nigeria I pray he succeeds

My argument thus is that paying 5k to some millions of unemployed youth is feasible but no advisable. There are many avenues to raise that cash. So, I will advise he pay thru skill acquisition programmes.

If $2 is saved from each barrell produced, there will be abundance to cater for many woes.

That will require a constitutional amendment as all accruing revenue are meant to Go into the Federation account the PTF method is very unlikely under a democracy!

They might have to modify if they must fulfil that Promise
