This Thread is in response the Misrepresentation  of Facts by Sahara reporters  who reported that the Former Director of Defence Intelligence was fired.

For the Records Major General Chris Olukolade has reached the Mandatory age of retirement and Voluntarily applied to proceed on retirement in Nov 2014  but was denied such because the Army Council felt otherwise ( this was at a time the insurgency was at a peak and experience in information mgt was key) 

It is also common knowledge that Military tradition also forbids a senior officer serving under a junior officer as such with the appointment of Buratai and others all senior officers ahead of them  had to go.....

The retiring Director of Defence Information and Chairman of Forum of Spokespersons of Security and Response Agencies (FOSSRA), Major-general Chris Olukolade, has handed over leadership of FOSSRA to the Director of Information, Nigeria Navy, Commodore Kabiru Aliyu.

At the monthly meeting of the forum at the Centre for Crisis Communication (CCC), in Abuja yesterday, Olukolade formally informed his colleagues about his retirement, having reached his retirement age.

According to him, he ought to have left the service since November 2014 when he applied for voluntary retirement but was not obliged by the Army Council who extended his stay in the service on the grounds that it was not proper for him to go at that time.

Speaking further, Olukolade thanked members of the forum and their agencies for the support and understanding  accorded him while he chaired the forum since its formation in 2013.

He also solicited the same measure of support for his successor while reminding them of the core essence of the forum which is to deepen the collaboration and understanding among the security and response agencies in information management and communication.‎

I had previously made a Presentation that all states without exception should be mandated to  generate at least 25% of their expected expenditure (monthly or annually) as a pre- requisite for obtaining the 75% balance from the federation account. (with real evidence to show that such monies are "organically" generated and not recycled) 

This will ensure that state Governors live up to expectations and stop gallivanting around with nothing to show for their stewardship.

Most of our governors from 1999 till dates irrespective of party affiliation have turned themselves to resource "wasters" instead of opening up their states  and generating good incomes they look for phony openings were they can stash public funds further improverishing their people.

Virtually all states in Nigeria has at least 2 items ( Mineral, Geographical or Human edge) that is capable adding good Dollars to the state coffers.

Towing this part will alleviate fiscal irresponsibility and  transform our "cashier  Governors" and "cup in hand states executives"  into the real titans they are meant to be.

DG SSS Partisanship A Response to Lai Mohammed 

It is very regrettable that despite deceiving Nigerians to vote for them in  the 2015 general elections the APC and their spokesman have not  turned away from their crooked ways of Outright falsehood and deliberate misrepresentation of facts.

The Issues raised by patriotic Nigerians especially members of Bar as regards the appointment of a card carrying member of a political party (APC)  as head of the Directorate of state security services (DSS) are genuine issues and one which should not be waved away  by anyone with the interest of nation at Heart.

It is very shameful and sadly regrettable  that Alhaji  Lai Mohammed who has all the facts as regards the APC campaign organisation at hand will demand same from the Nigerian People.

The service of Lawal Daura to the APC PCO is public knowledge,therefore  this public statement by Lai Mohammed  (see Link below)

The President must desist from sectionalising   the country and   see himself as father to all , Yes it is correct to reward support but openly coming out to tell a region that accounts for 90 % of your earning that they will be "punished" for voting for your opponent who incidentally is their son,  is a recipe for anarchy and return to the days of lawlessness just that this time it will come with the blessings entire states and communities. 

The North gave President Jonathan the least number of votes in 2011 but the North benefited the most from the Jonathan administration.
Over 402 Almajiri schools were built , the First High speed rail in sub-Saharan Africa went to the North , Massive rice cultivation and empowerment of Northern rice Farmers , 9 of the 11 brand New Universities established by President Jonathan were located in the North, the contract for the Mambila Hydro electric plant is the biggest contract awarded by the Jonathan Administration .

Inflicting more pain  on the South South after the defeat of their Son by Almajiri votes in the words of Gov Kwankwaso  leaves much to be desired.

It's an honour for Buhari to join the list of such distinguished guest at the Blair House.  
But the APC should have done thier research before feeding Nigerians with the wrong info (Prime Minister or Head of state or President) they are all head of Government. 

Wether he sleeps in the white house or Blair house does not really matter,  what matters is how the Country stand to benefit  from the trip that has generated so much media hype and controversy.

Eg. Will the  Americans  finally agree to sell the Hawk Helicopters to the Nigerian Army to Fight the lingering  insurgency, will they start buying our crude just like they ship from Saudi and Iraq these critical issues that really matter to Nigerians!!!

At almost 54% the President still enjoys the confidence of many Nigerians who still have hope in his ability to deliver on promises made despite the challenges!  

We hope the President and his team will justify this confidence by fulfilling those promises!
