PoliticsFive Senators Loss Bid To Become Governors And The Four Who Were Successful by ochejoseph(op): 10:26am On Apr 15, 2015
ABUJA – ABOUT FIVE serving Senators that contested in the April 11 governorship elections in their various states lost the bid to become their states chief executive officers.
But four out of the nine senators that contested for the election were lucky that they were declared winner in the election.
Senator Ifeanyi Okowa who contested on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State won landslide to defeat other contestants, likewise, Senator Ben Ayade of Cross River State who emerged successful in the April 11, governorship election.
Also lucky to be elected as the state governor is Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu from Kebbi State who contested on the party ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and his colleague from Adamawa State, Senator Mohammed Bindo Jibrila of the APC, who defeated his opponent of the PDP and former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Malam Nuhu Ribadu.
However, the result of the election in Taraba state where Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan contested on the platform of APC was declared inconclusive following the controversy that the result had generated.
The five who could not make it are Senator Gyang Nyoman Shom Pwajok of the PDP who lost to the APC candidate in Plateau state, Senator Helen Esuene who defected to the Labour Party from the PDP and contested the governorship election in Akwa Ibom State.
Also defeated in the governorship election is Senator Kamar Akin Babaloola Odunsi who contested under the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Ogun state and lost to the APC candidate and incumbent governor of the state Ibikunle Amosun and Senator Simeon Suleiman Ajibola who also lost to the incumbent governor of Kwara state that stood the election on APC platform.

PoliticsSee How Pepsi Looked like in 1898 by ochejoseph(op): 8:39am On Apr 14, 2015
The greatest brand competition in history, the one between Coca-Cola and Pepsi, began in the 1930s and has played a role in American politics along with world consumerism.

The rivalry between the two truly escalated with the onset of World War II, when the brilliant, hard-driving Coca-Cola President Robert W. Woodruff ordered a special group of 148 Coca-Cola employees in the U.S. military to deliver Cokes to every G.I. “for five cents, wherever he is, and whatever it costs the company.” More than 5 billion servings of Coke would be distributed to wartime U.S. troops.

It was perhaps inevitable that the two major cola brands would find themselves sometimes intertwined with two sides of politics.

Eben Shapiro wrote in The New York Times of Nov. 1, 1992: "According to beverage industry lore, the Coca-Cola Company prospers under Democratic administrations, while PepsiCo thrives under the GOP." Kurt Eichenwald noted in the July 16, 1985, edition, "As with political parties, there are only two major players: Coca-Cola, the drink of Democrats, and Pepsi-Cola, the Republicans’ refresher. Sure there are third-party colas, but as in politics not much is said about them."

This is what the APGA Guber Candidate said about Saturday's election?

Mr Ihenacho said even if INEC announced him as winner of the election he would still insist that the result be cancelled and election rescheduled.
“Even if the results were announced in my favour, my comments will still hold and I will say go ahead and cancel the election.”
PoliticsAPC Denounces Defections, Says PDP Politicians Should Stay In Their Party by ochejoseph(op): 9:19pm On Apr 11, 2015
John Oyegun, the national chairman of All Progressive Congress (APC), said on Saturday that the gale of defections by politicians was not good for Nigeria’s political development.
Mr. Oyegun, who spoke to newsmen in Benin shortly after casting his vote, advised those defecting to the winning party to rather form a formidable opposition to enrich the nation’s democracy.
“Many opposition party members have defected to APC just because they lost out, that is not good for political development.
“One would have advised that opposition members should stay where they are, and form a formidable opposition party.” Mr. Oyegun said.
He described the governorship and houses of assembly elections as “the most decent, orderly and peaceful” ever conducted in Edo.
Meanwhile, the APC national chairman won the election in his polling unit. Oredo East: Ward 2, Unit 1 Polling Unit, the first time since 1991 when he was elected governor.

PoliticsPDP National Youth Leaders Press Release by ochejoseph(op):
VOTE FOR PDP CANDIDATES
In the ensuing transition, the Peoples Democratic Party has a role in it - one of safeguarding and deepening democracy in Nigeria and providing a more credible alternative

On 28th March 2015, Nigerians expressed their preferred choice for the leadership of the country. And for the first time in the history of Nigerian democracy, a sitting President conceded an election and congratulated the incoming President of Nigeria. Our party has also done same we should be proud of this legacy. This is the greatest triumph of democracy that has set the basis for future transitions in Nigeria, History will forever remain kind to President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for his efforts and commitments to the transformation of  Nigeria and deepening of her democracy.

Now, on 11th April 2015, about 48 hours from today, we shall again line up to exercise our democratic franchise Since the aftermath of 28th March 2015. We have observed the changing phase of our democracy, as it relates to our party in the face of an impending transition we shall not be deterred in our quest, commitment and believe that democracy is all about power to the people and our party believes in it

Yet, we relish the achievements of our State Governors from Jigawa to Gombe, Akwa Ibom to Katsina. As young people, we also see the hope that the aspirations of Umar Nasko in Niger and Ramalan Yero in Kaduna could lead us. Despite our loss on 28th March, one of our finest and leading young voices, Hon. Tony Nwolu made it in Lagos to the House of Representatives representing Oshodi / Isolo federal constituency. We are fully aware and committed to the aspirations of Ambassador Bala A'boki in Kano and Onofiok Luke in Akwa Ibom amongst several others. These are the great possibilities that our party represents.

We may have lost the polls some 12 days ago but the future of our party and our role in the nation's democracy will be ours to rebuild and reorganize. For us to achieve and realize our future, on behalf of all the youth structures of our party, I enjoin us to go out enmasse on 11th April to vote for and mobilize for the PDP. We are a generation of people with consistency, party loyalty honour and perseverance. These now will be our hallmarks.

We shall whether the storm, press home and engage in all efforts aimed towards rebuilding this truly national party post 29th May 2015.

Thank you.

PoliticsJonathan's Legacy Of Change (must Read) by ochejoseph(op): 9:34pm On Apr 03, 2015
Let me first use this opportunity to congratulate the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari. Congratulations on your hard won victory which is a testimony to your resilience. You give a new meaning to the lyrics of a song by the late US R & B singer, Aaliyah Dana Haughton, who sang 'if at first you don't succeed, pick yourself up and try again'.
Having said that, let me say this loudly: I believe in the leadership of President Jonathan. I am proud of him.  Much as it may be hard for some to conceive of now, I am certain that in the not too distant future, many will find themselves saying about President Jonathan that never in the history of Nigeria has so much being owed to one leader in so short a time as President Jonathan. Of course, I am paraphrasing Sir Winston Churchill.

General Muhammadu Buhari has won the most transparent elections ever held in Nigeria and it is President Jonathan that ensured we had this most transparent election. One only happened because of the other.

Think back to elections held before President Jonathan assumed power on May 6th, 2010. I am sure the phrase 'do or die' still rings familiar.

That Nigerians are today celebrating is because of what God did through Jonathan.

But perhaps President Jonathan's greatest legacies lie in the intangible things he achieved for Nigeria.

Jonathan is the real change agent. He ensured Nigeria's freedom of information via the Freedom of Information Law, FOI, and our freedom to choose leaders via credible elections.

Elsewhere, I have said that you may not be able to appreciate a very good wife until you have divorced her to marry another.

Even his most ardent critics will appreciate Jonathan eventually. He allowed freedoms blossom and from the way he institutionalized these freedoms, it will be virtually impossible to put the genie back into the bottle.

I have only written a few lines, yet the word change keeps popping up whenever President Jonathan's name is mentioned.

Nigerians may have voted for change, but I am skeptical that we will see as much change in the coming years as we saw in the last five years.

Apart from the intangibles, what were some of those changes you may ask?

I will just mention a few.

In the midst of a brutal and subsisting insurgency, President Jonathan was able to lead the growth of our economy such that Nigeria became the largest economy in Africa and the 26th largest economy in the world.

He was able to reduce hunger in Nigeria (not according to any data from the government or any Nigerian run organization, but according to the International Food Policy Research Institute's Global Hunger Index).

His leadership saw Nigerians having the highest increase in Average Life Expectancy according to the United Nations Human Development Index which shows that life expectancy in Nigeria increased from 47 years pre Jonathan to 54 years today.

For the first time in Nigeria's history, the long neglected Almajiri children of Northern Nigeria are able to go to a physical school with modern facilities on a large and organized scale because President Jonathan built schools for them.

Our women folk have had their highest per capita input in government under Jonathan. Almost 35% of all high profile appointments President Jonathan made were for the benefit of women. He also opened up the Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA, to women.

The Igbo people of the Southeast, who are very mercantile and commercially itinerant, now have an international airport and do not have to travel to Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja or Kano, to take a connecting flight. They can travel out of the country directly from Enugu. Whenever they do so, President Jonathan is putting back ₦60, 000 they would have spent on connecting flights back into their pockets.

In the Southwest, the two most important roads, the Lagos-Ibadan and the Benin-Ore Expressways are wearing a new look courtesy of the change brought about by Jonathan. It is worth mentioning that those roads had been in a state of disrepair for decades before Jonathan happened on the scene.

In the power sector, Jonathan fulfilled his promise to privatize power. It may take sometime, but Nigeria is going to see the same massive increase in capacity and delivery in power as she saw in the telecommunications industry for the simple reason that government cannot do what the private sector can do and this is a fact known to every nation that has successfully solved its power challenges.

Let me not go on and on about his achievements because I can. It suffices to say that under the rain, under the sun I will be for Jonathan!

And I am not the only one. Some may sneer and say that it is because I have benefitted financially from this administration. If the incoming administration should investigate me, Nigerians will know that this is not the case. I supported President Jonathan because of passion not pocket.

Now, this Change that has been voted for by Nigerians may be good and I hope it will be.

For the vast majority of people chanting change, I pray that it will not be like a cow given to a child. That child will care for the cow as long as it is alive. The child will milk the cow, get it food and clean it every once in a while. But in many cases, the minute the cow is slaughtered and its meat is to be divided, the child then realizes who the owners of the cow really are.

I have said and still say and will continue to say that by his uncommon and statesmanly action of conceding to President-elect Muhammadu Buhari, even while the votes were still being counted, President Jonathan doused the political tension in the land and took the wind out of the sails of those who may have had the means and  the desire to instigate violence.

We may never know how many lives were saved by this action, but lives were indeed saved.

In my own opinion, President Jonathan deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for this gesture and at the very least, the Mo Ibrahim prize.

If we had had this legacy of conceding when Presidential elections are over, Nigeria would have been even more stable than she is right now and many many lives that were needlessly lost in previous electoral cycles would have been saved.

I am so proud of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. So, so proud!

And for the Peoples Democratic Party, its members must bear in mind that the All Progressive Congress is coming into power with control of the Executive and the Legislature and if history is anything to go by, a great deal of influence over the judiciary.

The people that are coming in are people who have tasted power before and have been away from it for far too long. They will not be shy in their use of power.

But perhaps even more impactful than these is the fact that they are entering into power with something akin to near dominance or even control of the loudest section of the media.

They have invested in the traditional media and even more so in the Social Media. Their influence over the youth is something like that wielded by the Pied Piper of Hamelin.

If the Peoples Democratic Party does not device an effective strategy that would see it increase its influence in those institutions that have traditionally been key to restraining the excesses of government, such as the media, labour and professional organizations and students and youth groups, market and road transport unions and so on, its ability to act as an effective opposition party that puts a democratic check on the excesses of the incoming ruling party will be severely eroded.

There is no time to have a pity party. What has just happened in Nigeria happens all the time in the advanced democracies of the West and even in next door Ghana. There is no shame to it. In fact, if the people involved know where they stand in the sands of time, they will understand that there is a lot to be proud of.

Those in the PDP should not go and lick their wounds. Rather they should go and build their political machinery through intellectual development and genuine reconnection with the masses at the grass roots.

Taking a cue from the behavior of the Republicans after they lose office to the Democrats, PDP mandarins should go back to school, take up newspapers columns, write books to tell their own accurate story before it is distorted, throw themselves into the lecture circuit (TED talks and conferences), set up foundations to help the less privileged and so on and so forth.

They should not worry or despair. I am very certain that history will be kind to President Goodluck Jonathan and the PDP and history has a way of repeating itself.

Some may accuse me of being on a flight of fancy, so let me provide proof of history repeating itself in the democratic traditions of Nigeria.

In 1956, Enugu elected Umaru Altine, a Fulani, as the first Mayor of the city. In 2015 Amuwo-Odofin, Ajeromi-Ifelodun and Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituencies have repeated that history by electing Chief Oghene Egoh, Mrs. Rita Orji and Mr. Tony Nwoolu as their Representatives to the House of Representatives.

Those elected are all non-indigenes elected under the banner of the PDP, in Lagos state, which is an APC stronghold. Now that is Change! No. That is Jonathan's Legacy of Change!

PDP members should not be down cast when gloaters ask them 'how market'. What those asking that pedestrian question fail to realize is that the work of healing and uniting Nigeria must start now. There's no time to gloat.

If they do not realize it, PDP members must realize it and begin to heal their party by building unity and infusing fresh blood into it.

Four years may look like a very long time, but it really isn't. Remember that a party that did not even exist four years ago is about to form a government at the center. Isn't that instructive of what proper planning and execution can do?

PoliticsPresident Jonathan's Response After Card Reader Failure by ochejoseph(op): 10:11am On Mar 28, 2015
Despite the delay in his accreditation, President Goodluck Jonathan still defended the use of the card reader insisting that as a new voting system hitches are to be expected.

Speaking after he did his accreditation, after a more than 30 minute delay, Jonathan said he was pleading with Nigerians to be patient with INEC and ensure that the nation carries out a free and fair election.

“What is important is that the whole world accepts that Nigeria carries out a free and fair election. Voters should be patient, if I can so should other Nigerians.”

He stressed that Nigerians should not instigate crisis anywhere and ensure that the process is carried out peacefully,

He said the whole world was interested in the election, pointing out that he had received calls from such presidents and heads of state, like Obama, Cameron and Zuma all pleading for peaceful elections to be carried out.

GEJ TILL 2019 MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
PoliticsPresident Goodluck Jonathan Will Win On Saturday - Abdullahi Maibasira by ochejoseph(op):
Abdullahi Hussaini MaiBasira is the National Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Director of Youth Mobilisation of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organization. He recently talked to journalists on the youth preparation of this month’s general elections and how well the PDP’s Youth wing has prepared and galvanised support for President Jonathan's re-election nationwide.

[img][/img]

Q. What is the focus of the youth wing of your party in this month's general election?

As youth leader of my party, our present focus and direction is simply that candidates of our party should emerge victorious at all levels at the polls. Our work is to mobilize and ensure the re-election of Mr. President and to principally galvanise youth support nationwide.

Q. The Directorate of Youths have been traveling round the Country galvanising the Youths for the President, What is the response of Youths based on your interactions country wide?

Yes, we held several side-line programs for the campaigns. We held town hall meetings in Sokoto, Niger, Kogi, Calabar, Owerri, Akure, Ilorin, Lagos, Kaduna and our other officers were detailed to Adamawa, Taraba, Plateau and Nasarawa. We also did stop overs in Zamfara, Kebbi and Ekiti. Some of these were youth regional meetings while some were States. We engaged youths on social media through the “PDPyouthtweetmeet” with over 2.3 million reach, We also mobilized members of the Youth Campaign Committee for all the Presidential Campaign rallies. The 2015 Youth Campaign Committee will go down in history as one with the most assembly of youth and student leaders. We liaised consistently with the youth and students movements and we also got endorsements of youth leaders from other political parties who joined us in Lagos. We convened an interactive session with youth groups and we had fruitful engagements with our peers and colleagues. Other groups too have held some programs for youths and we are satisfied that we are all on board for the same success.

Why do you think young people should vote for President Goodluck Jonathan?

If you take a close look at his policy initiatives and thrust, you will find out that the administration has consistently placed young people in all of its interventions. Federal Government led interventions in agricultural, ICT, education, public health, works and infrastructure, employment drive such as the Graduate Internship Scheme that allows corporate and private enterprises mentor young people and prepare them for full scale employment, and channelling funds oil subsidy funds into youWIN and SureP programs. The budgetary allocation to the education sector in particular has increased and has allowed for the creation of additional tertiary universities bringing to total one federal university in each state of the federation. All these signify a broad and concerted approach towards enhancing youth policy objectives in government. We are also confident that he would do more in this regard after his re – election so that these policies will be consolidated and strengthened.
What is your take on the recommended 30% inclusion of Youth in governance by the National Conference?
I am for it. We had advocated for it. We shall work towards its full realization. At the CONFAB, we were represented by 18 young people whom we must commend. They pushed home our call for youth inclusion in governance and it was part of the recommendations in the final report. Commendably, the Federal Executive Council chaired by Mr. President has adopted the report and that is the first step. This party, the President and our leaders will advance any genuine and constructive effort that will strengthen the involvement of young people in our democracy. This strategy will open up new gates to ensure that more young people are deliberately involved not only governance but would also expand the horizon for mentorship and leadership recruitment.
The place of useful youth in country in the next 20 years is without a doubt important, but how do you reconcile it with the fact that 60% of the thugs or miscreants are youth?
First as a party and the ideals of President Jonathan, we denounce, deplore, abhore and reject all forms of political violence. Though I have not seen any empirical evidence to concede to this assertion, I am confident that given increased awareness of the populace, improved credibility in our electoral system and the increasing involvement of young people seeking elective office, and subsequently being appointed, this tendency will be greatly reduced in the future. The fact is, this nation has no greater resource than its youth, and that is why education, youth empowerment, capacity building and promotion of self – reliance should and has been the centre piece of PDP and the present administration. It has been stated by the year 2030, Nigeria’s most important asset will not be our crude reserves, or mineral deposits or agricultural capacity, it will be in our nation’s capacity to harness the full potentials of its youthful population for economic development. By that time, I for one should have left the youth constituency by age but we presently have a responsibility to prepare for the future. That is what President Jonathan represents. That is what we shall work for and that is why the PDP should be re – elected.

What efforts are you making to ensure that non – violent elections?

We launched the no - violence campaign during our Youth interactive session in Sokoto State. We launched it because we believe that young people should not be involved in violence, we should actively play a part in the electoral process without engaging in conflict. And we have taken this message to all the other places where we subsequently went for our various town hall meetings with youths. We also informed youth leaders at the state level and the Presidential Campaign Committee members on the need to sensitize our supporters that we believe in one Nigeria and the survival of the country is very important to us all. Our candidate, the incumbent president has vowed that no shedding of blood is worth sacrificing for his ambition; and I believe for any other politician for that matter. So we believe that we should follow suit.

How much more should Nigerian youths be willing to sacrifice for the country, given the sacrifice the Nigerian youths has done over time without results?

I believe that nation building is a continuous process. Our founding fathers have played their parts, as a country we have had our challenges, we would simply have to play our part in keeping the eagle’s flag flying. Our diversity is both a great asset but also a call to continuously rectify our fault lines. As long as humanity exists, Nigeria will continue to exist because we have responsibility to the black race and the world. All of us young or small, big or small, male or female must continue to strive to ensure that this country continues to exist. In my opinion no sacrifice is too much in keeping Nigeria one. There is no country that does not have fault lines, we have to work on ours, solidify them and know that we don't have anywhere else to go and we have to work to meet the aspirations of our people and make sure our children inherit a better country, better than how we met it. I believe that the PDP is the only true Nigerian party that cut across every segment of the country, a party that embraces all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, ethnicity, norms, cultures or religion.
What are the prospects of the youth in the PDP?
It is bright. I'm the youngest National Youth Leader the party has ever had, and currently, the youngest Governor is PDP – Ramalan Yero and the youngest Governorship candidate is PDP – Umar Nasko. We have young men like Comrades Tony Nwolo, Onofiok Luke, Bello Ahmed Agwara, Kolade, Tony Nwoye, Ben Duntoye and many contesting on our platform for legislative houses. Many more aspired. By next year or the year after that, I would leave office and definitely another young man will also emerge. This party is youth friendly. Our President youth focused. We have consolidated the youth movement in the party, our prospects for a well - defined youth wing within the context of the organs of the party will be our post - election priority so that mentorship, succession planning and leadership identification will be institutionalized, planned and monitored.
What informed your decision to resign as the Speaker of the Nigerian Youth Parliament?
I was elected on 14th December 2011 and I resigned on 13th December 2014. I must give credit to President Jonathan who continued with the policy of the Youth Parliament after Late President Umaru Yar'adua. It shows a leader with vision and conscious of continuity with objective government policies. I am one of the products of the Parliament.
The fact is there was no rule of the Parliament requiring me to vacate office but as I resigned for three reasons. One was my belief that I cannot be a Youth Leader and the same time Speaker because the Parliament is non – partisan in structure. Two; because I have work to do galvanizing and mobilizing youths for the re – election of President Jonathan and the success of our party. And three, because I believe another young man can fill in the space and even perform better than me in taking the Parliament to the next level. I am still a member of the Parliament though.

How would you describe the forth coming elections?

First we are confident we will win. The PDP is a truly Nigerian Party. On the election, it is an election that, in my own opinion will consolidate our country's democracy and prepare us to face the challenges of overcoming our fault lines. This election will make Nigerians really appreciate democracy. It is about moving forward and enhancing our country’s prospects. It is about consolidating our hold on our economic growth to further translate it into full development. In our appraisal, I would rather suggest that we be objective than subjective.
We expect high turnout of voters, which is good for democracy and the confidence of our elected Leaders. Nigerians will participate in the process and appreciate the fact that democracy is here to stay and we must all work together to ensure that it stays

Q. What is your opinion on those calling for Change?

That is slogan of another party; the slogan and motto of my party - the PDP is “Power to the people” and I think that is what democracy signifies.

PoliticsRe: South-East Will Get Additional State Before Any Other Zone – Jonathan by ochejoseph(m): 8:07am On Mar 25, 2015
In the spirit of Fairness and equity!

It was James E Faust who said "In this life, we have to make many choices. Some are very important choices. Some are not. Many of our choices are between good and evil. The choices we make, however, determine to a large extent our happiness or our unhappiness, because we have to live with the consequences of our choices.

Propaganda will always crash when confronted with the Facts and like we will always say, Lies have expiry dates but the truth will Never expires, here are the two choices you will be presented with on saturday;

1. Saturdays election is a choice between  Moving Forward and going backward

2. This election is a choice between a 73 year old man that cannot remember the name of his running mate, his party or INEC and a 53 year old man that has midwived the transformation of critical Infrastructure in our Country

3. This election is a clear choice between going Analogue and proceeding with digitalisation

4. This election is a choice between a Man who built the first speed rail in sub-Saharan Africa and another who cancelled it's first Metro project

5. This election is a contest between a man who set up 12 brand New universities and a man who did not set up any as head of state

6.This election is about a man who gave young people YOUWIN and Almajiri schools and another who celebrates them as weapons of electoral Terrorism

7. This Election is about a man who is on the verge of wiping out Polio and a man who does not believe in immunisation

8. This Election is a race between a Generation that superintended over the Decay of our Nation and a generation that must salvage it,

9.This election a clear fight between a confused cattle herder with a stagnant No of 150 cows after 12 years and a Man whose agricultural policies and programmes have cut our food import by 40%

10.This is election is between a Professor of Buharinomics who wants to stabilise the price of crude in the international Market / make =N= equivalent to $ 1 and a Man who under whose watch Nigeria became the biggest economy in Africa

This Election is a clear choice between Good and Evil

       This election is about you

               Use your PVC wisely

Such a moronic comment you posted up here.
Corruption is the main evil of this country and that is what we are thumb printing for to put an end to it or minimise to bearest minimum.
Sai Buhari, is our hope to stop corruption.
‎Your candidate does not even know the name of your political party how do you expect him to know what corruption is about!

The man who fought corruption was Idiagbon and not your Illiterate candidate!

Its GEJ till your candidate goes to school

It comes very late cos I have decided... Remind me 2019 when gej will come back to contest.... GMB has my vote... propagandist can't have my precious one vote.
Unfortunately you missed the Point
APC and Propaganda are conjoined twins

Since the All progressive "Confidence" APC have developed a Culture of lying to Nigerians we have also developed a truth O meter to analyse their claims and let the public know the truth.

A Nairalander once said that to be an APC member one must have a degree in LYING, While this could not be far from the truth we have decided to x-ray some of the claims by APC on the  Truth-O Meter

1. Our National Youth Leader is 49 not 53 as claimed by the PDP!

                       True Or False

False!

Yes the man Ibrahim Dasuki Jalo  was 49 when he contested for the HOR seat under the CPC according to INEC records that was 4 years ago!

2.This Buhari's Interview was conducted in his London hotel room!

                     True or False
False!

It turned out that the said Interview actually took place at the Ambassadors suit in Transcorp hotel Abuja and not London as claimed by the APC

3. Alpha Beta is not owned by Tinubu but Osinbajo and His friends

                     True or False

False
Checks at the corporate affairs commission reveals a rather different picture, even Remi Tinubu and her children were also recently listed on the board

4. Tinubu does Not want to be Vice president, he is not interested !

True Or false

False!

Tinubu himself rubbished the APC when he  blamed President Jonathan for orchestrating a plot to deny him the vice presidential slot in the APC!

5. Buhari has a Masters from the US war college!

                     True or False!

It turns the Baba joined the military using a written note from his principal! The US war college confirmed that he indeed attended a course there but was issued a diploma equivalent to a certificate of attendance not a Masters as claimed by the APC so this claim is also false!

6.Tinubu attended government college Ibadan

True Or False

There is no record either in WAEC Or OYO state to show that Tinubu was a student at government college, apart from the Oluwole certificate presented to INEC in 1999, all former students and  old boys of the school have denied ever coming in contact with him as a student! Former president Obasanjo has also confirmed this!

7. APC says Tinubu has never had anything to do with Drugs, Lai also claims that their National Leader does not know what cocaine or heroine looks like!

                   True or False

The Answer to this question is found in the records of the United States District Court Northern District of Illinois Eastern Division in 1993 case No. 93 C 4483 .
Tinubu and others were convicted of Pushing Heroine /Cocaine and other hard drugs on the streets of Chicago leading to asset forfeiture and conviction!
Hence this claim by APC is also False

8. APC claimed Sambisa Forest was the equivalent to the size of Belgium !

                   True or False

Wikipedia to the rescue!

According to Wikipedia Belgium has a total area of 30,528 square kilometres while Sambisa forest covers an area of 60,000 kilometres

APC needs to improve on its knowledge of maths

9. Almajiri schools have No Gains?

True of False

The best answer to this question comes from the Father of an almajiri child hear what he has to say

" Tun da shugaban Kasa ya kaddamar da wannan makaranta yaro na da  sauran yaran mu da ke barace barace sun samu cigaba yanzu ba litafin da basu Iya karantawa

Translation : from  setting up of these school by the President  my son and other children who were begging on the streets have made tremendous progress there is virtually no book they can't read now !

10 . Agbaje is too Old to be governor!

True or False

A party that  boasts of  the Oldest presidential candidate at 73, the Oldest party chairman at 76 ,the Oldest senatorial candidate at 75 and the oldest youth leader at 54 should not be making such statements about age!

NB:
We have refrained from analysing the excessive dependence on Pampers by  Lai Mohammed and Tinubu's Oral issues because neither the APC or its chieftains have officially responded to the issue!

We should be asking you that question!

Of aall the stuff you quoted point to one that is not true!
