Good for them!!

I always encourage Africans to go to Europe and America. These countries forced their ways on us and when they left, they forced terrible leaders on us...

Go there!! Succeed there!!!

He who holds another man down, will have to stay down.

————————
I see a lot of people asking me how they forced terrible leaders on us??

My brother, my sister look at the foreign sponsored coups and counter coup that plagued Nigeria and most African countries. Especially that of babangida whose regime became a negative turning point for Nigeria.

Look at how they distabilized Libya and the weapons from Libya war empowered various terrorist cells all over Africa.

Look at how they forced Charles Taylor on Liberians. He “escaped” from American jail to become a president.

I can keep going on and on and on but I’ll stop here.
You are right, they interfered at some point, but to be honest with you, where we find ourselves today should not be blamed on them. for how long will Africans continue to blame the colonial masters, yet they aren't making any effort to change the status quo?

Take your time and analyze leadership at grassroots, from headmistress/headmaster, village heads, Meeting heads, SUG presidents, VCs, CMDs, CEOs, name them, these ones are neither imposed nor influenced by the West, yet most of them handle those leadership positions selfishly, greedily, stupidly and heartlessly...

My point,.. can we for once take responsibility and make effort to shame, surprise and wow those so called "Westerners" who want us fail?

If this had happened in Nigeria:
people would have blamed the contractor that did the road or

blamed someone for importing substandard Tyres from China or

blaming SON for allowing the fake products to infiltrate the market.

While some will be somewhere blaming village people for WITCHCRAFT. while

Nairaland Scientist wannabes and "I too knows" would divide themselves into subgroups:
Some would concoct some fake scientific principle and blame the reams of the truck or an innocent vulcunizer

Some would blame 'Kazeem' for not balancing and aligning the wheels.

Another Nairaland faction would say the Tyre specs are not suitable for the truck.

Some would say it's because it's Belgium Tyres.

Some would say the owner of the truck doesn't maintain the trucks by not replacing the Tyres when due.
Naija I hail thee.
Please any time you want to say something in the public or to another person, first of all analyze from other peoples angles what you want to say critically . Criticize those words yourself, in that way you will minimize saying illogical things. And not make a fool of yourself in public.

You and I know that almost everything but a few things works in Australia. In fact it's one of the most beautiful countries in the world. They have a working system and when things like this happen, it's surreal; and it happens once in a blue moon. They act immediately, swooping into serious investigation to find the root cause thereby stopping future occurrence.

But can the same be said of your country? Capital NO is the answer.
So biased statements and criticism is sure to come when the latter is the case in a country where nothing works because people have either lost hope or very bitter with the system and government.

Williams exchanged with Dembele at Barcelona.

Chelsea are good to go.

There is also rumour making rounds in the news that AC Milan are preparing to buy Messi. lol

That means, Ronaldo Messi war continues in Seria A. lol

Why?

It's very rare to see most black people do good things without being told, pushed or taught to do so, which is why anywhere they are all you see is abnormality and darkness. Sad to say most of them lack common sense - I.e. knowing that doing this will bring goodness and doing that will bring badness.

Most Europeans by birth even without education or any formal training strive to be humane, which is why there are a bit of sanity there. And anywhere they are you see a bit of light. Most of them have common sense - knowing that doing this will bring betterment and doing that will bring badness.

A sane person always sits back and give serious thoughts to criticism, then try to reassess himself to minimize such criticism.

But someone who is insane gets angry anytime you criticise him, then continue head long in his stupidity which leads to his doom.

Why must you slate Africa to make a point.

Doctors behave like criminals everywhere not just in Africa

In the UK within the last month we heard of doctor misconduct from the UK. There are countless examples of sexual misbehaviour, criminal prescribing and even murder. Ever heard of a doctor called Harold Shipman??
Education has little to do with morality.
Many of our greatgrandparents never went to any school and were not touts or thuugs
You sound so illogical and ignorant.
When some very few individuals act in a bad manner, we call them bad eggs, of which they are everywhere. But when a greater number in particular place are bad, you then don't see them as bad eggs anymore but people who are products of failed society/institutions.
Now compare the percentage of these miscreants in Nigeria with those you mentioned oversea, you will see that it's as a result of failed institutions here and in Africa.

Why you brazenly defend them, maybe you are one of them

It's only in Africa that Education doesn't mould a person, even one bit. Which is why you see a SAN, Medical Doctor, Professor, Eng. etc behaving like common criminal. The likes of them in various political positions, heading institutions.

When you look at the national assemblies, state house of assemblies, governors, executives, judiciaries, heads of universities, family heads, religious leaders, youth leaders, what you see mostly are educated illiterates, who are rascals and miscreants with bogus certificates yet not disciplined.

I also blame the collapsed family institutions for not instilling disciplines in children.

What a sad reality.

Dubai, and Saudi have population less than 20 million. Nigeria has 200milliion, and we produce less oil.
You are told you produce less oil right? Go read about Saro Wiwa's struggle to be told how many barrels are gotten on a daily basis.

You are larger than them, we know, but tell me which little area you have fixed with the little money you make from your little oil? Remember the definition of Economics? Scarce resources? Efficient management? Insatiable or mammoth wants?

Abacha's loot, over 300 million dollars, will be used to lift up Nigerians from poverty by paying then 5k a month? And that's how you lift people up from poverty?

Have you given a thought that an agreement would have been signed and you ask the repatriating country use 300 million wholly to lift the power sector?

The problem of a black man is not sitting down to accept he has failed and has a problem and then seek and think of solution without making excuses or pushing blames.

You are socially, morally, and as human wrong to defend this ridiculous backwardness Nigeria is in.

Yes, we know. We can all recite this poem off head.

But then, you Nigerians go and vote for a party that messed us up for 16 years....or the ruling party that has no idea to bring in the needed change to make things better.

And bills? You people insist on paying less than $5 for light monthly...and you expect 24 hours light...when you should be paying 5 times that? And you expect DISCOS and GENCOS to suddenly have the cash to be able to pay for gas?

You want good universites...and you insist on paying N50000 fees for N1 million naira education?

You insist on paying N97 for fuel that should at least cost N250 per liter...and you wonder why there are scarcity (and you blame govrement...for the worng reasons).

You know that there is a lot of infrastructure in a lot of countries...because people pay heavily in taxes and bills. Not the cheap thing we pay for in Nigeria.

Oil money cannot feed all of us. Neither can restructuring...because the prices of agric and other commodities rise and fall like oilprice. We need to invest in industrial development, and making things that the world needs...not in importing stuff and wasting our money on useless subsides...that prevent job creation, and leave millions unemployed.
About votes? No current politician in Nigeria is votable...

About electricity bills? Pay 1 million a month you still will not have light

About university? Pay 10 million per semester no sound education will be provided. Even if provided, lecturers will exchange grades for sex cox no stringent laws to put them in checks.

About PMS? Pay a thousand for a litre still you will import fuel and have no working refinery

About tax? Open a small business and see that your business will be taxed to death. still yet the money realized will be used by politicians to fund their luxurious lifestyle and no infrastructure provided.

About oil money? Go to Dubai, Qatar, Saudi and the rest and see that oil money alone feeds them well.

In conclusion, you are a poor student of logic and sound argument.

It is not really that they sell the light per se. Our power generation is primarily hydroelectric. And the river Niger, on which most of our dams are built course through those countries. And were they to build a dam, high up we will not have enough flow lower down to generate anything. So it is more like an agreement. Nigeria builds a dam lower down to maximize the power generated and distribute to this other countries at a subsidized rate.
Our problem with power is not generation, unfortunately the people at the top are ignorant of that or don't give a hoot and keep shouting MW this and that, possibly as a way of showing that they are doing something.
We need to concentrate more on efficiently distributing the much power we have at our disposal. And until then, any more power generated, is as good as a waste.
U don't get the point... If it"s the way you described the power sold to the other countries, then why are Nigeria govt saying they will cut them off? Don't they know of the symbiotic relationship and mutual agreement u just mentioned? Aren't the govt away that if they cut them off those countries they will then build their own dams in the river and affect Nigeria power generation?

On the part of distribution, my dear let the truth be told Africa is thriving on lies. you and I know that there is no damn generation. forget the lies, the said capacity installed are just propaganda and mendacious empty words strictly for the birds. Even the said distribution is a damn cheap lie. Nigeria to be sincere don't even have more than 1,000 installed capacity and they dont generate/distribute above that.

THE WORST THING THAT CAN HAPPEN TO A HUMAN IS TO BE BORN IN AFRICA.
