Pictures of this devices [Quad D, Honor and the Mediapad in that order] Cant wait to ice the Quad D Though would have loved to see a dual SIM version Well, you cant have it all
|
The Ascend Quad D XL seems to be it IMO along with the Mediapad Also Huawei seems to have thought this strategy well too Ascend Honor 2 would have made more sense seeing Honor came out early 2011 but hey, the Nigerian market will lap it up They all came with ICS when they launched [Honor is on Honeycomb and upgradeable to ICS] and should upgarde easily to Jelly Bean Huawei might be Chinese but do know [if you don't] that most telecoms providers [Nigerian inclusive] use their products Huawei also trumps the likes of TECNO & numerous faceless brands which flood the computer village Hope the inherent Nigerian greed doesn't show up as the Quad D retails for $450 [about 72,000] internationally |
A Chinese mobile phone manufacturer, Huawei, has said that it has a big plan for the Nigerian market in 2013. The Managing Director, West Africa, Huawei, Mr. Tony Liang, in a statement on Monday, said the company would introduce to the Nigerian market in 2013 new range of Android powered smartphones. Liang said the Nigerian subsidiary of the company, Huawei Technologies Nigeria, would unveil the Ascend D Quad XL smartphone for Nigerian consumers. According to him, the smartphone boasts of a powerful quad-core internal processor, which is exceptional for any device in its class with a processing speed of 1.5GHz. He said, “The smartphone is equipped with a 4.5-inch display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and a pixel density of approximately 326 pixels-per-inch. “The IPS+ screen is truly a sight to be seen and in some cases beats its Android competition such as the HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III. The display is bright and vibrant.” He added that the phone had 1GB of RAM, a microSD slot, MHL connectivity, DLNA support, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, an 8-megapixel rear shooter and a 2,600 mAh battery. According to him, the Ascend D Quad XL runs on the latest Android 4 operating system with an additional benefit of long battery life. Liang said, “The Ascend D Quad XL’s irremovable battery is able to deliver enough juice for a full day’s use under normal circumstances like checking emails, updating status, sending text messages and making the occasional phone call. However, when pushing the device to the limits with high-intensity games and frequent usage, the Ascend D Quad XL was still able to deliver impressive results of more than 10 hours of battery life.” http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/20/huawei-ascend-d1-quad-xl-review/ [Ascend D1 link] http://www.androidcentral.com/huawei-ascend-d-quad-xl-review [Ascend D1 link] He said that Huawei would also introduce two powerful Android-based smartphones: Honor and Mediapad 7 Lite devices. http://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_u8860_honor-4197.php [Honor review link] http://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_mediapad_7_lite-4882.php [Mediapad Review link] “With these devices, smartphone and technology enthusiasts can look forward to more exciting options from Huawei this new year,” Liang said. http://www.punchng.com/business/technology/huawei-to-ship-new-smartphones-to-nigeria-2/ |
hrmkz: A little humbleness will make him a better person!Humbleness?! WTF! Is that a new Nigerian-English word or something? Wherever did humility go? |
Eziachi: Comparing Nigeria to Zambia, when you are supposed to be the so called big brother of African and the giant? Most of what people have replied to this thread is nothing but bullocks&lack business intelligence Lets the figures below speak 2012 AFCON TV rights $2.2 million for ALL CAF competitions=€1.65 million=346 million naira 2013 AFCON TV rights $11mill=€8.25 mill=1.73 billion Naira just for SA 2013 Reduced to $6.4 mill=€4.8 mill=1.005 billion naira Question 1:What led to a 291% increase for ONLY one CAF competition in one year? Question 2:True,Nigeria has the 'biggest' market in Africa yet what is their purchasing power compared to a SA? Since Orange(telecomms),Stanbic(banks)&Samsung(electronics) are CAF sponsors, the ONLY VIABLE remaining sponsors are beverage, alcoholic drinks&FMCG companies? Pray, how will BON & affliate private stations make a profit seeing MOST Nigerians are interested only Nigeria's matches? Or LC2 is looking to the FGN to pay for BON? K eep dreaming. Is it because exhorbitant TV rights why Nigerians were regaled with mostly highlights during the Olympics? Let LC2 go phuck them themselves without vaseline |
thelastPope: Bullying any news station will only make them popular and endear them to the world. It beats me when I see the level of ignorance and partisan politics on this forum! SMH! Nigerians are the losers for it!You must have been in Togo when the PDP&Yaradua shut down Channels TV down for giving us a breaking news hoax of his intended resignation when NAN's website was hacked. Probably you were not aware Deji Badmus left Channels bcuz Oja John Momoh wanted to kill a news report from the anti OBJ Ogun state PDP faction. What of the 'SSS' intimidating The PUNCH's Enugu state correspondent from sending stories to headquarters on Chime the absent. Dont just foolishly speak because your lips must move as your fingers type it out. But PDP hacks like you must work for their chop money sha. |
If Nigeria wasn't so messed up, she would gladly comeback to her roots But the 9ja is now, she's coming home to die To live a decent life [by western standards] in 9ja , you need tomes of money Getting those tomes is another matter entirely |
Afam4eva: What's the writer's reason for blocking those very salient details? Not like the typical Nigerian CV which MUST HAVE so many personal details even when you are just still applying |
kawkab: Kudos to the Nigerian Air Force and the Nigerian Military (the best fighting force in Africa). They have proven it over and over again. In this case the rebel and jihadist would start shitting in their pants when they hear that the Green White Green flag and the strength of the eagle would be landing. When will we get it right? Nigerians perform MIRACLES in all fields of endeavours Even with our broken educational system, geniuses still come through but most relocate to saner climes There's more than enough to go round for every one Who saw the deprivation and hunger which cloaked most of our retired officers& soldiers during the Armed Forces Remembrance day celebrations despite their starched uniforms? I would have said deal with the fat cats in Abuja but its more than them Its the elite that are Nigeria's problem Did you see the Channels TV documentary on the police college? Did you see the decay and squalor those who protect our society are trained in? Look at this antiques which cannot stand in modern technological warfare that is our NAF's pride and joy Despite our tribal differences,I believe we are willing to still work it out [fix our issues] and be a country We have more than enough to be the black super power but our elites get phucking us without vaseline Until we commit class suicide, which no society has ever done in history, I fear we will keep going round in circles as a nation 9ja, So much promise yet so much squalor Apologies for been off point |
Operational history Most actions carried out by the F-7 have been air-to-ground missions. In air-to-air missions, there have rarely been any encounters resulting in dogfights. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chengdu_J-7 This planes are antiques mehn, even at $3mill |
