The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has promised to do right by Nigerians if elected President in the 2023 general elections. The APC flagbearer said that Nigerians would not regret voting him as President, stressing that he has the competence and capacity to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

Naija News reports that Tinubu stated this on Tuesday during the APC campaign rally held at the main bowl of the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna State. He also promised to tackle the worsening insecurity in the country and address the high level of unemployment by providing jobs to the teeming Nigerian unemployed youths. Tinubu said he was pained over insecurity in Kaduna in particular and Nigeria in general, added that terrorism would be totally eliminated under him as President next year.

He also hailed Governor Nasir El-Rufai for the infrastructural development of the state, noting that he was pleased to know that he had a worthy successor in Uba Sani, the governorship candidate of the party in the state. He said, “We thank God Almighty that brought you people here, we thank you for remaining loyal and faithful to our party, you will never regret it. “In Shaa Allah, all those troublemakers, all those kidnappers, killers who are troubling the security of Kaduna and Northern Nigeria, I assure you, we will eliminate them. “El-Rufai has done a good job, go around Kaduna, you will see how organised, how clean it is. And he has boosted the internally generated revenue. But a leader without a good successor is not a good leader. He has given us a young, energetic and honest boy, Uba Sani, to become the next governor of Kaduna State.”


Tinubu also appealed to his teeming supporters to ensure that they collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to enable them to cast their votes on election day for all elective party members in the forthcoming elections across the zone. He added: “Let me now tell you, you should vote all candidates of our dear party, from the president to governor, to the senator, to House of Representatives (members), to House of Assembly, to chairmen and even councilors. May God bless you. God will turn this sunny day into a brighter day and bless you and your children. You will never regret it today.

“Everyone of you should go home with determination, check your PVC, and do not let them deny you your PVC. If you have not collected your PVC, please, in the name of Almighty Allah that gives power, go and collect your PVC. “Today, the sun is brighter, the sky is clear, and we don’t want to talk too much, we want you to go back home in peace, happiness, and joy. Our hope is here, we will do everything to make you the young ones properly employed. We will create jobs.
