[quote author=TheNoble007 post=70148702]Thanks for your response. It couldn't have been more apt, I sent an enquiry to Jena and got a response yesterday that I would be updated on my admission status in two weeks. Although I have set sight on Summer, I am also confident anything could still happen. Impossible is nothing, cheers. |
TheNoble007:Just wanted to ask you the course and University, as I am presently gathering as much info as possible. I have been following the thread from part 4 though, I applied to just Bonn and Jena for Winter, thinking that having a good CGPA would get me admitted. Admission was rejected for Bonn, while Jena is yet to give a decision on my application, I have learnt here that applying to as many schools as possible is the key. Consequently, I have now settled for Summer 2019 so that I can finish the program I am presently running before re-firing. Suggestions are most welcome. Thanks |
This is not a good development, if it is confirmed. Moses Simon is a good winger and would have given Rohr options on the flank. Apart from Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi, and Ahmed Musa who is trying to get back to form after a disastrous time with Leicester, I do not see a more reliable replacement for Simon. The Eagles need it's best players for this tournament. This is the World Cup the biggest tournament globally. #SAD |
Nigerians were tired of PDP's looting the reason APC was voted into power to right their wrongs. As a Nigerian, I expect you to present to Nigerians APC scorecard between 2015 till date, but alas you are still playing opposition, trading blames when it's your party that is holding sway at the centre. If Buhari was fighting corruption, you should be in jail by now for looting Edo dry. Your principal's fight against corruption is targeted at members of opposition and not a sincere fight else where is Babachir the grasscutter? Nigerians are wiser, we shall vehemently loud it to those who are still caught up in your web of deceit to have a rethink. WE SAY NO TO DECEITFUL LEADERS!!! |
Senorita123:You can make payment using GTB's USSD code (*737*2*amount*accountnumber#), same applies to First Bank and Zenith Bank using their respective code. British Council's account number is generated thus (995102 - if you are writing in Abuja, Benin or Enugu) then add the code of the month you intend to write the exam, for example 02 is the code for April while 03 is for June, 04 for July, 05 for August, 06 for September. In addition, add the last two digits of your international passport to get the complete ten digit account number. Please be informed that before completing the transaction, you would be prompted to transfer #75,000 to THE BRITISH COUNCIL check properly before you send to avoid stories that touch. Once you have completed the transaction, send a mail with receipt of the transaction which you can generate via your online banking platform, to exams.nigeria@ng.britishcouncil.org For those who intend to take their test in Abeokuta or Ibadan British Council's 6 digit code for the aforementioned locations is 995202 then add the month code and last two digits of your international passport. If you intend to write in Port-Harcourt the code is 995302. If my explanation is not clear enough, kindly go online and carefully peruse the information contained on their website. Shalom |
lovetree:I visited one of their study centre yesterday and was told their PGD last for three semesters. By that information, if you register now, you should be through before the end of the second quarter of 2019. |
Top of the morning to everyone. A friend's dear wife, Mrs Okao cheated death few weeks ago, escaping murder in the hands of a co-tenant, Barr. Ojeh Oziengbe. The incident occurred at No. 21, Osagiator Street off Church Crescent, Ogbe-Ibuya Quarters, Ekenwan Road, Benin City. I like to plead with well meaning Nigerians, to use their good office, to see that the perpetrator of this heinous crime against humanity, Barr. Ojeh Oziengbe is brought to book for his actions, so that he doesn't feel above the law and it would serve as a lesson to all. There has been series of issues in the space of three months that culminated into this attack by the said Barr. Oziengbe on the 12th of November, 2017. I wouldn't want to bore us with details of past events. The bone of contention has been the direction of flow of water from the Okao's apartment who are occupants of the first flat while the Oziengbe's occupy the back flat of the same building. The Oziengbe's had complained of the water flowing through the back of their apartment, but unfortunately, that is how the compound was floored, such that water flows through the back, out of the compound. The landlord has looked into the matter and resolved that they should live together as one family but his admonition, apparently fell on deaf ears. The Oziengbe's came back from Church that Sunday afternoon (November 12th, 2017) and saw that water had flowed through the back of their apartment, from washing Mr Okao had done that day. Infuriated by the sight of the water and knowing fully well that Mr Okao was not at home, Mrs Oziengbe decided to engage Mrs Okao in a fight but the latter avoided the former's call for a fight, locking herself and her kids in their apartment. Mrs Oziengbe, obviously frustrated by the avoidance of the fight she had called for, resorted to pouring buckets of water in the Okao's apartment, yet Mrs Okao did not respond to her. On getting home, Mr Okao was briefed of happenings while he was away that afternoon. He decided to see Barr. Oziengbe to have a chat and also tell him to caution his wife as she has gone overboard by her actions on several occasions in the last two months. On getting to the Oziengbe's apartment, he was told Barr. Oziengbe was asleep. Meanwhile, the wife was in the sitting room so he cautioned her to have a rethink of her actions so as not to provoke him to react one day. While he was yet speaking, the second child of the Oziengbe's, Osezuwa came from behind, held his throat, pushed him so both of them fell to the ground. Mrs Okao swiftly moved to remove the young lads hand from her husband throat, while they were struggling, Barr. Oziengbe came outside with a machete and attacked Mrs Okao. Mrs Okao was rushed to the hospital for treatment. While they were at the hospital, they were informed that Barr. Oziengbe had gone to Evbuotubu Police station to make report and get the Okao's arrested but he was not fortunate enough as they were yet to treat Mrs Okao at the hospital when they received the information so they went to meet him at Evbuotubu Police station. The Police on seeing Mrs Okao asked who her attackers were, she said it was Barr. Oziengbe who had been waiting for Police to follow him to go make arrest. He was detained that day but surprisingly, Barr. Oziengbe has transferred the case to area command and has vowed to deal with the Okao's. Mrs Oziengbe on her part, has also vowed to deal with Mr & Mrs Okao both physically and spiritually. Fully aware of the power of social media, Mr Okao pleaded with me to help him raise awareness on Nairaland so that this wickedness is not left un-punished. Kindly assist the Okao's get justice in anyway you can. Thanks for your time Cc OAM4J, Mynd44

Job a.k.a Kainkaininka finally famous. If you know the story of this boy you wouldn't blame him on this desperate move of his that has put him on the spotlight. Indeed POVERTY is a bastard, I got to know this lad many years ago. He was in primary 1 while I was about rounding up from primary school. He was nicknamed Kainkaininka because according to him, he used to soak garri with Kainkain (ogogoro) when he was a kid cos his dad was a tapper so he had access to it regularly. Some of our leaders need to be stoned because they have failed us from grass root to the top i.e. Local Government level to the Presidency. Corruption has been the order of the day for public office holders from time immemorial, graduates flock the streets endlessly in search of jobs but some to their disappointment end up doing jobs not reasonable enough for even O.N.D holders. If there are thousands of jobless graduates out there, what is the hope for a semi-skilled or unskilled person in this country of ours blessed with abundant natural resources and overwhelming man power I congratulate you Job not because what you did was right but because God in his infinite mercy and loving kindness spared your life for you to escape from the zoo (Nigeria) to your dreamland. God bless youHIGHLY CONTROVERSIAL ODEDENSHI 1 |
